I have been highly satisfied with the Auto services I've received in the past 2 or little over years. Moses is efficient, honest and will make sure he has a happy customer when leave. Greetings! The battery on my 2017 Subaru outback needed to be replaced over at costco in Alhambra. Only problem was I didn't have the proper tools and all of my male friends were not available at the moment. I looked on my maps to find the nearest auto repair place, saw Campos was a stone throw away, called the number expecting to have to call at least half a dozen places before I could get someone to come over site unseen. Found another fantastic place for car repair. Service is excellent and the prices are fair. I have a 1997 Subaru and the clutch went out. A close friend told told me about Campos and so I went, got an estimate and did the repair. When I tell you that he fixed my clutch - he FIXED it!! It was like a brand new car! I had to "relearn" how to drive the clutch was fixed so well!! Nice and tight!! No more pushing the clutch to the floor! I went back and got my axle, new rotors and AC with him. I used to go to my Toyota Dealer faithfully for every kind of maintenance until I realized they were over charging me for unnecessary repairs. Looking for a better option, I discovered Campos when I went in to have my car smog checked at a business right next to them. I've had them put in a replacement engine for me, which still runs great. I also once brought in a new side mirror for them to put in for me and they did so at no charge. Today I went in for a new starter and despite being super busy, they said it would be ready later today. And they gave me a ride home on top of that! These guys rock! read more

So my muffler is making my 1999 Subaru sound like a Harley Davidson. It is the weekend and I need to find a place fast as I'm quite embarrassed about the noise. I looked up places on YELP and Hrant is closed on the weekends. So I looked at Campos as it has good reviews and is fairly close by. And so I called. I spoke with a gentleman Fernando. He asked if I could bring the car by today and he would look at it and then would be able to provide me with a quote. So, I took it there and arrived about 30 minutes later. I had to wait a bit - but that didn't bother me - I was able to catch the end of a FIFA World Cup Game (unfortunately Portugal lost) and they have two seats outside in the shade by the television - if you are wearing nice clothes, you wouldn't probably want to sit on the chairs, but I was in shorts, so it didn't bother me - and the chairs were comfy. I don't think they have any waiting area inside. They put my car up, took a look, and even showed me what was wrong. Screws from the gasket were missing and hence the loud noise. About 5 minutes later, I paid my $15, and was on my way. THANK YOU! I always get skeptical of places - a female, 50 years old, and wondering if I will get raked over the coals. One of the best auto shops in Pasadena. I am a regular at this location because I have not been able to find a better establishment with an equal level of service for such a low price. I personally own an older Mercedes which can be pricey to repair and maintain. Have gone to this shop multiples times for various reasons like simple tune-ups, part replacements, and even a flat tire. They work on all sorts of vehicles and models. Have personally taken Mercedes and Honda and received exceptional service on both. Moses will ensure you get the best quality of service at the best possible price. read more

I came to Campos on the recommendation of Yelp and the smog test station next door. My 2003 Dodge Dakota didn't pass the smog test and the code came back saying it was something with the catalytic converter. I took it to three different shops and all of them quoted me between $1600 and $2000 to replace both the converters and the oxygen sensors. I was skeptical that I for sure had to replace everything but all three mechanics were pretty up front that it all needed fixing. On a last ditch effort to find an alternative, I went back to the smog test station to chat with the owner and see if he had any advice (that's a separate review) and he walked me next door to Campos and explained the situation to Moises, the owner or manager of Campos. He said they would take a good look at it and sure enough, it was an exhaust leak in the manifold. He replaced it and also fixed the pipe after the muffler and I only paid $305 for this. And best of all, he was right and the truck passed smog. The service was quick and efficient. Moises was very communicative and up front with pricing. I am so thrilled. Total scam artist. Brought my car in to fix the power steering came out with the ailment all messed up and 2 different noises coming from the engine. And they over charged me 60 bucks for no reason. Ended up getting rid of my car because they did more damage to it than when I brought it in. If you like people messing up your car more than it is so u come back to spend more money than this is the place for you. Sent a complaint to the better Buisness bureau and they never replied. read more
