The food was okay. Could have been better. But what to expect on a Saturday afternoon. The server was good but pushy. The restaurant was clean. Bathroom was clean as well.

I came here as I saw some good reviews thinking it couldn't be too bad. When we arrived, the host asked how many & replied "two". He grabbed 2 menus and started walking so we followed, hoping we were supposed to. He put the menus on the table and walked away. I think there should've been some communication or some sort of "bon appetit", perhaps? We ordered burritos, margarita & beer. The beer was cold & margarita was tasty & not lacking tequila ;) Our server was unlike most servers, in that, she had no personality, smile... almost robotic. I usually order beef tacos but their menu only offers hamburger meat as "beef". Just going to say that hamburger isn't an authentic Mexican food item. I ordered the Burrito Mexicano which was carnitas with tomato & bell peppers. It was mostly big chunks of tomatoes & bell pepper, so I was disappointed. I don't get joy out of negative reviews but felt obligated to let others know, in case they see 4 stars and have high expectations. If you want a drink, this your place. Otherwise, I would not recommend.

Simply D*E*L*I*C*I*O*U*S!! My husband and I are out of town for a getaway and found this little gem by way of Google. We were greeted promptly and seated in a romantic corner (while my DH could still watch the game lol). Our server was very kind, efficient, and knowledgeable. She recommended the Burrito Barzone which did NOT DISAPPOINT. Very delectable :)

This is a great little Mexican Cantina. I've never had a bad meal here. Their margaritas are tasty, the Negro Modelo is always ice cold and served in a frosted mug and the service is impeccable, delivered with a genuine smile. These folks are all about your comfort. I highly reccomend the Antonio's Special with pineapple and poblano peppers! The house salsa is some if the best I have ever tasted, including what I have had south of the border. If you are a soccer (fuuuuutballlll) fan, this is a great place to watch a match, especially if you want to better understand the game.

This place doesn't look like much from the outside - it's in an unattractive strip mall. However, the inside is clean and large. We were promptly greeted, seated, and served chips and salsa. The chips were warm and the salsa was tasty. We each chose a vegetarian combo plate, and everything was really good. The prices are reasonable, and the service is crazy fast. Our food was at our table before you knew it!

One of my favorite places to come with my friends. The staff is friendly and I've grown with them and now they see me too often. The margaritas are great tasting and strong. If you don't have a buzz after just one, maybe you have a problem :) I also am a huge fan of the queso but they always call it 'cheese dip' instead. The chips and salsa are typically to your table before you can even get settled. Which is another one of my favorites. I admit the place does kind of come off as something that would be a little sketchy, but once you get to know the staff and the way the food is prepared you will look past that. It quickly became a weekly spot for me. I have tried various things on the menu but the beef soft tacos or the cancun quesadilla are the best things. If you don't get a margarita you might not enjoy the place as much.

The food is ok. I got nachos once and they were a mess. I also got a taco salad once, very bland. The ground beef is not seasoned.

We had the queso which is not your average. Its thick cheesy texture tucks inside of a small tortilla. So, not your typical chips and queso . The addition of a roasted jalapeno was brilliant! There was a DJ & a dance floor, but very few people were dancing, which was disappointing. The place itself was cool with colorful lights & fun graffiti-like walls, but the aesthetic was let down by the lack of people. We enjoyed the free popcorn & I really liked my drink, the downside up, although I realize it's probably too sweet for most. Unfortunately, the cocktail & popcorn didn't make up for the dead atmosphere & we left pretty quickly. I would be interested in going again & seeing what it would be like when it's lively; I imagine it would be a fun spot when the dance floor is full!

Some things are out of your control, but still I would've enjoyed my food more if I could have sat and ate it. This place feels a little light a hole in the wall in downtown Cincinnati. It does not have lots of tables, it is unassuming on the outside, and the menu is simple. We were drawn to it, even with the long lines because of all of the game goers. Considering its size and the line, we did not wait an unreasonable amount of time to order and then receive our food. Everyone orders at the counter so you have to go through one at a time and wait for everyone before you to decide their orders. The food is then called out and you have to go get it. This system probably helped our situation and made things move faster. I got their signature turtle, which is basically a large crunch wrap, with chicken served southwest style. It was awesome but very large! We were going out after and did not want to carry leftover boxes, so I ate it all and kind of regretted it after. But I simply could not stop cause the food was so good! The prices are also fair and they have plenty of beer and cocktails to offer from their bar. I would love to come back here on a quieter night so we can sit and enjoy the food wholly, perhaps with a beverage as well.

On a less busy night, they offered a free toast for my birthday. I've been for other celebratory dinners here on busier nights where that hasn't happened, so it was a lovely surprise! Ambiance: 4/5 A little busy and can get loud on the weekends with table chatter, cutlery clinks, and the brick walls echoing noise around. Tables are also close together, so you can definitely hear the conversation next to you. The decor is pleasant and the lighting is soft and romantic enough that it is still a perfect date night spot!
