Cute little spot in Corona to look at Christmas lights. It's become a little tradition every year for my fiancé and I (: We bring hot chocolate and drive through the neighborhoods. It gets very packed the two weeks leading up to Christmas so keep that in mind.

Very few houses with light now. Not like before , not a lot of people do it today. Before people use to serve hot chocolate and galletas. .

Odd place, but worth it for people looking to explore new photo spots. It's just a very small section outside. Egyptian hieroglyphics and feeling like you are someplace abroad for a moment. This is just one odd building in a rare spot. Maybe the developer didn't get funding during and after pandemic to build something else here or expand from the idea. It's unique. There were contractors working inside/maintenance work. Nothing to see other than exterior of building. Good photo spot. The U.S. needs to build more unique spots like this or more local museums would be pretty cool. Free public viewing. Good work of art to appreciate.

Here in downtown Riverside, you have Mariposa Alley (Butterflies). During lunch we were trying to figure out what was around the area that was worth checking out. This popped up and was a 2 minute walk away. Just around the corner from Main Street next to a parking structure. It's a small little alley way that house all the fun cute butterflies hanging off the wall. The same concept as Collette Miller with the famous Angel wings scattered all over the place. One side of the wall is a massive mural of butterflies and flowers while the opposite side are butterflies. All different sizes and shapes hanging off the wall. You have the colorful wings lower down for that perfect photo op as well as smaller one hanging off the wall. A cute little walkway that's hidden off the Main Street. It's tucked in between the parking structure and city hall. A fun photo spot that's well maintained and clean. Alleyway was not messy one bit and in pretty good shape and clean.

Lucky for me I found not only this beautiful alley, but so much more. There are many photo ops here and if you have someone with you even more shots possible. A great stop if you love street art, butterflies or looking for something free and fun to do!

If you can't find parkings on sidewalk, you can park in the church's parking lot which is located literally next to the event. The church charges $5 per car. Upon entering the event, you will see around 15-25 American classic cars. After passing the classic cars, you will see vendors and food booths. Although this event is known for their chili, I didn't expect to try any. However, I did try this booth that serves hot dogs and fries. I ordered carne fries that cost $8. The amount given was "okay". The amount of meat was "okay".. Wouldn't have gotten it if I knew how much they put in it. And frites were pretty darn hard. Overall, wouldn't recommend it and was not worth the money. Food booths seem to repeat, not much to try. There is also a live stage of "mr. Elvis" singing.. And a mini live farm that includes pigs; chicken, yak, and goats. Overall, this is a pretty small event, would probably visit again next year.. Who knows P.s. Show up early if you want some homemade chili because by the time I showed up, they were all sold out

It's a small event but draws a lot of people. You might find limited street parking near the event but I recommend paying the $5 and park at St. Thomas Church, they're on Jackson at the entrance of the event and your $5 goes to a good cause. There are probably less than 100 classic/custom vehicles on display and they do not cruise at this event. This year they had two music stages with bands playing oldies and 80's music and a surprise visit from the King himself, Elvis. Of course you'll find the typical vendor booths with everything from arts and crafts to Solar Panels. I try to eat kinda healthy but who can resist bacon wrapped deliciousness or deep fried anything? Yes, I'm talking street food vendors. Kebabs, tacos, dogs, shaved ice and waffles. mmmm! Then there's the Chili Cook-Off part of this event. You pay a couple bucks and you get to sample some of the different chilis and salsas and choose your favorite. If you plan on tasting the chili I suggest getting there early before they run out. I look forward to this event every year. I love the old and historic buildings in this part of town and the often passed-by business' that are part of the Arlington area. By far, this isn't Riverside's biggest car show but it's my favorite. I support this event because they do I nice job bringing a lot of people to the Arlington area of Riverside and that's why they get 5 Stars!.

With a very…read morespecial but also specific theme in mind, we were unable to find any traditional wall decor in stores that really matched our vision. That's when we decided to commission a mural through a professional and quickly connected with Jeannine at Hattas Public Murals on Thumbtack. We received a lightning fast response, and were immediately impressed with her level of professionalism and accomplished portfolio. After a short on-site consult to take measurements and notes, Jeannine and her team got to work, sending mock-ups (and a few revisions) that brought our idea to life, but also within our budget. The mural features a scene inspired from the book series ("The Prydain Chronicles"), a monogram, our son's name, and a quote from the author. Our son, like the hero from the books is also adopted, so the concept behind the design was especially emotional. Jeannine listened to our story with so much compassion and understanding, we were absolutely confident the execution of the mural would be flawless. Our instincts were spot-on. Once the final mock-up was approved, Hattas Public Murals delivered and installed a spectacular work of art that still brings tears to my eyes. In fact, calling it art is quite the understatement; it is an awe-inspiring and  immersive experience. Everyone who has stepped into our baby boy's nursery has been absolutely blown away, and are amazed by the love and care that can be found in every brush stroke. We could not be more in love with this mural, and the pictures attached simply cannot do it justice. Best of all, it was painted on canvas and applied like wallpaper, so it can be moved, preserved, and treasured for many years to come. We cannot begin to thank Jeannine and her team enough for making our nursery the most special room in our home; with a one of a kind mural that is just as unique and beautiful as our son, Taran. Not only will we recommend Hattas Public Murals to anyone and everyone for their creative decor needs, but we intend to commission Jeannine and her team for several future projects.

This was important to me. Jeanine took the time to listen to what I was looking for and suggested a few things to help grow my idea. I loved that. She came over and was so kind and really took time to understand this was more than just a job; this was something my kid is going to grow up with. She took measurements, and even took color swatches of the carpet and furniture to make sure we matched the color palette! She quickly mocked something up and a few days later I had a photoshopped mockup for approval. Once we approved it we setup a date and I paid the deposit. Marcus was the artist that was assigned to this project. He was so kind and wonderful in my home. He let my wife and I peek and see progress, and would check in with me if he had any questions. He's a really talented artist and executed my vision faithfully. At the end of the day my wife cried (with joy), we have our incredible mural and I couldn't recommend this company enough. Really pleased with how it turned out and I will be calling them again for my next mural or art project.
