Amazing experience from initial contact through pick up. Dream cake for my 30th birthday. Effective communication with a custom design, the most moist & delicious cake EVER (I am extremely picky). Will be returning. Had vanilla (white chocolate) & buttercream frosting. you will be quoted the price ahead of time. If you want a cheap cake, DONT come here. THE PRICE IS REFLECTIVE IN THE QUALITY (of the art & taste).

This is officially my new cake spot for all of our family events! I had never been here but initially tasted their cake at my cousin's birthday party. It was so moist and flavorful! So, I decided to give it a try for my son's 2nd birthday. The flavor of the cake and the icing was so consistent with what I had tasted at the previous event. It was SO perfect! The amaretto is definitely worth ordering. The buttercream frosting is also really good! It's so smooth and not too sweet at all! The decorators did an amazing job as well! I LOVED how everything turned out. The cake was SO cute! Every detail was PERFECT! Thank you so much for a beautiful and delicious cake!

I ordered a cake here for my birthday. I called and emailed with one of the decorators to get exactly what I wanted. I attached multiple pictures and had verbal confirmation that they understood what I wanted. I had my husband pick it up, and when I saw it.. it was NOTHING like I had ordered. It has a huge finger dent on the side, bubble on the side of it that was frosted over it- trying to cover it up. We called the owner said that she saw my inspiration picture & could remake it for the next day. Then i come back to pick it up the next day, it's even worse than the original. I explained the the employee what I wanted again... and she said to wait 15 minutes and they can scrape it off & try again. After spending $40 on a cake I'm very disappointed. Wasted my gas and time to come here for them to try not once but THREE TIMES to make a very simple cake design. Will never be supporting this business again.

I called on a Monday for a cake the same day. Wasn't sure it would happen but it did! They were so helpful and made such a beautiful cake with gorgeous flowers in the most beautiful colors! Wow, what a wonderful experience I had with this bakery in making a custom cake for a family member's going away party to join the Army. I found some pictures on the Internet of what I wanted. After discussing it with them, they said they could do everything that I requested, including a camouflage colored cake batter for the inside, which basically was a marble cake(chocolate, and vanilla,), and adding a color of green. The cake was beautiful, inside and outside and It tasted delicious and our new recruit loved it, especially the camo filling. And it was half the price of what I was quoted from another bakery. The can-do attitude and professionalism and friendliness at this bakery was fantastic!

Great cake spot. Ordered daughters wedding and grooms cake here. She went with a specific design in mind and they matched it to just right. I have other Items from here, such as donuts, kolaches, cupcakes and pies. Would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a professional staff who listens to their customers.

I haven't tried any of their products yet, but thought I would include some information about this store in a review. The big seller is their cakes and designs. I was in there for less than 10 minutes and saw 3 parties picking up huge, ostentatious cakes. They were beautiful. However, I also witnessed some awkward back and forth over payment and possibly whether designs were followed. I'm sure it was resolved, but I'm not positive since the entire situation made me uncomfortable and I moved out of earshot to give them privacy. The second biggest draw would be their chocolate selection, I saw a ton of truffles, quite a few clusters and a couple of fudges. They all looked delicious! Unfortunately, I skimmed all 3 cases and couldn't find any listed prices, only the name of the chocolate. Third, they have a wall of candy. I didn't take that close of a look but it looked like a mix of hard candy and chocolate covered candy. I also saw a freezer with some pies, pie slices and cupcakes. On one of the counters there was a tiny box display with maybe 4 types of cookies. I stopped by looking for something specific. It's okay that they didn't have it, but I was there for almost 10 minutes because it was so chaotic, just waiting to talk to someone. There were at least 8 other customers there and maybe 3 employees and there seemed to be more than one argument or awkward conversation going on. There was no set line, people were everywhere, and there wasn't anyone greeting customers as they arrived. This was a Saturday between 11am and 12pm. I normally would have made several purchases despite not finding what I was looking for, but I did not this time. As far as I could tell, there was only one register and several parties ahead of me, so I didn't particularly want to invest more time. If I'm being honest though, it came down to the fact that the service (chaotic entry, lack of greeting, overheard conversations) made me uncomfortable and I prefer to shop at places that are more transparent with their prices. Still, it's good to know what this place offers if I'm in need of a cake design or chocolates.

Candy Haven delivers every.single.time. Jane and her team bake pure magic at Candy Haven!! Our family is heavy on birthdays in September and I'm so grateful for an easy and reliable resource. And don't sleep on the sausage kolaches. Incredible. Photography skills ... not doing CH justice here!

I don't have enough good things to say about Candy Haven! We got our wedding cake from them and we're blown away!! They were so kind and accommodating and were extremely helpful and responsive. Our cake tasting was better than all the others we went on and the staff was so easy to work with. Both the brides came and grooms cake were beautiful and delicious! We had so many compliments and there wasn't even one extra slice at the end of the night! We live in Dallas but will be making the drive to Denton the next time we need a cake! They also have so many good candies and treats that we loved! We didn't get to try a kolache from next door, but they looked and smelled so good! Highly recommend!!
