we somehow got in just as everything was about to close in the entire town. Really didn't plan series of events properly and should've ended up on the beach and then started with that said we were so glad. This place was open. 30 minutes later then it said it was going to be online. Whenever we're traveling about, we always have to stop by and get some sweets for the kids and kind of see what the Local Flavor is in though we were disappointed that another favorite of ours was closed. We are still very happy to stumble out of this place and grab all they had to offer... now, of course we get the saltwater taffy and I always go for my go to chocolate covered gummy bears. Staff was nice. They didn't complain that we were coming in minutes before they closed and we definitely tried to buy some stuff not make a mess and get along our way. Absolutely great job. Thank you for being open.

Cute little shop in Lincoln City on 101. Stopped in looking for souvenirs and found delicious candy! These kinds of shops are rare now and they had seafoam! One of my favorite coast candies. Their rocky road is so creamy and chunky WOW. Great spot!

Everyone is very friendly and very nice! Sidney was extremely enabling when it came to buying chocolate, but I was on vacation so it was okay! There's a gift shop side to the business as well so if you want any little knick knacks they have them. Have fun indulging yourself with great treats and excellent customer service! Will definitely come back the next time I'm in town!

I had never been here but the bf insisted as he remembered it from his younger days. Oh yes, very tasty candies inside. We got some variety of taffy and two chocolates. (Hey, I'm trying to show restraint here). They have the normal touristy stuff but we elected not to get into that stuff. The building was very colorful so I had to take a picture. You cannot miss it as you drive south through town, there it is prominently on the east side of the street. I don't know how I had been driving by it all these years. I found it especially enticing as the bf indicated it had been there at least thirty years that he knew of. I tried not to blow the New Year's diet (one piece of taffy equals 60 calories folks--who knew?) I'm sure I'll be back here again.

Really disappointed in this - it says "Tastes like a piece of pie!" - sorry it tasted like a fig newton.

Recently went to Candyland for the first time during our trip to Lincoln City, and I have to say, I was not impressed. We stopped by to get some fun candy to enjoy with some friends who were coming over for dinner that night. First of all, I think you should greet someone when they walk in the door, but both the man and woman behind the counter didn't even acknowledge us at all when we walked in. Not a good first impression, I have to say. The candy selection was also much smaller than I expected, with only half the store with candy and the other half with souvenirs. The main thing that annoyed me was when I asked the lady behind the counter what the sea foam candy was (I had never heard of it) she gave me a good description, but never offered to let me try it. I have never been in a candy store, where I wasn't offered to try something in order to see if I liked enough to buy it. She could have cut off a very small piece and offered to let me try it, but she didn't. We ended up buying some caramel corn and various old fashioned candy, which was good, but overall the experience wasn't good, and we won't be going back. Not worth it.

It was a huge portion of food, we shared it along with a dish from the Thai cart Cozy kitchen, we split the chicken and veggies with a side of gyoza. The food was amazing and well priced. We found a table inside the indoor seating and enjoyed the music while we feasted on our meal, after dinner we walked back toward our hotel. One of them (can't remember the name but it was Mexican food) was a bit of a dud but the other two were great. This pod had both outdoor and indoor seating which is nice. The bathrooms, while dark, were clean. Just a reminder that dogs are not permitted and neither is outside food. We don't come to Lincoln City often but I'd come back to this pod in the future.
