It's hard to have anything bad to say about a candy store, I mean come on, what could be bad about candy! This store is no exception, they have delightful chocolates. I'm not a taffy guy so I didnt get any, but if you're into taffy then this is a sweet spot for you too. They have three sections, each with rows upon rows of buckets of different flavors of taffy. Also, they have a unique thing called "sweet corn soda." I didnt try it, because I am not really a soda drinker to be honest, but I want to try it at some point when I come back, at least to say I tried it. I don't know what the hoopla is over this candy store! First off I've been eating chocolate for 62 years and to me it was not the greatest and my husband agreed. Kind of tasteless! Secondly, they didn't have as big a salt water taffy selection as you would expect at the Oregon coast. So many more at the coast and locally in Portland and even Troutdale have more selection than this store had. Very over priced candy in my opinion!! read more

Chocolate peanut butter balls: Quite possibly the best chocolate peanut butter confection I have ever had! And I've tried them all.

I've ordered from Sweet Delights through the mail and the candies were AWESOME. Lots of great varieties -- chocolates, caramels, and god bless their saltwater taffies (in 1,000,000 different flavors). So why would my dame and I drive all the way to the seashore? Maybe for da seafood. Maybe for the ocean vistas. Maybe to walk barefoot in the sand. Maybe for the Salt Water Taffy. We bought Salt Water Taffy in four joints along Hwy 101. This one was the best of the crop. The dish behind the counter was a doll. She gave me a free sample. The first time I went in my old lady was shopping. C'mon, shes female, it's the factory store mall, even a dumb bunny could figure that out. I ate taffy. I may have looked in a store or two. Went back the next day and got two of every flavor Salt Water Taffy in the joint. And did the same for a pally of mine in the city. I got a sweet tooth. When it's this good, you feed it. My pal says it's the best taffy he ever ate. I wish I had some left over. Think I'll order it. Yah, it's that good. Can't wait to get my flippers on some more of it. read more

I have visited several times since the start of COVID and am planning on going again in the near future. I love the friendly family oriented atmosphere. The quality of their candy is worth the drive too! I have never felt it was unsafe to go into the store or purchase the candy or dots! My dogs love their treats too! Stopped into this shop while on a weekend trip to Lincoln city and bought some chocolates. The first truffle I bit into was fuzzy on the inside. Spit it out and found nothing but grey chalky chocolate and mold inside. It was absolutely disgusting. Broke open a few more, no more mold but more dry and discolored chocolate. Contacted the owner for a refund, since I had already left town, and was told I'd be refunded for the chocolate. No refund issued. Think twice before purchasing from them.
