But when he was seriously injured under their care on April 18 (required sedation, stitches, and $1,400+ in emergency vet care), they showed no urgency or accountability. I wasn't contacted until almost an hour later. The explanation? "He may have run into the fence." I was told a claim would be submitted the next day (April 23). Three weeks later? No claim number, no adjuster, and no proof it was even submitted. After several follow-ups, their insurance rep admitted there was a delay--but no one took responsibility. No apology. No action. The same dog they proudly used in marketing meant nothing when it came to doing the right thing. Paw Oasis failed Jett--and failed me as a loyal customer. Pet owners: ask yourself how they'd handle it if your dog was the one hurt.

Hidden fees, IE: early\late drop offs and pickups, excessive calendar peek "per day" fees, and other incidental fees can add up easily to almost the price of a full kennel per day. The drop off and pick up times seem reversed as well and very inconvenient for pet parents with structured travel itineraries. There should be a larger than 5% multiple pet discount for boarding in the same kennel. The change of ownership has caused price increases, made the website information very inconsistent between the facility, and the navigation of the website is difficult for researching specific pricing and policies, while dredging through other redundant rhetoric. These issues put a very bitter taste in my mouth and will not return.

We absolutely appreciate The Dog Stop in The Colony! The owner and staff are great people. They've…read morebeen providing day care/boarding for our pups for about a year now, and every experience has been amazing. They are always so accommodating--even with last-minute boarding--which gives me so much peace of mind. You can truly tell they care about the dogs like their own. This Easter really meant a lot to us. When we picked up our dogs, each of them had their own adorable goodie bag with a plush toy, a cute bandana, and the sweetest little decorated treat. It was such a thoughtful surprise! But what really touched us was the Easter card they included--signed by the staff. That small gesture meant so much and shows how much heart they put into what they do. We also opted for the Easter photos, and they turned out so cute! They really go above and beyond--not just for the dogs, but for the families too!

I've taken them to kristi twice now and I'm very happy with the results. She's so patient with these fur babies. One of them is high strung and a very nervous fur baby. Kristi makes him feel safe. He doesn't come out shaking like he did with other groomers because he's giving her kisses. My other pom loves everyone but she has thick course hair. Kristi gives her a wonderful deep condition that makes it soft. I like that when I tell her what I want I get exactly that. They always look great. We are already scheduled for our next appointment in 8 weeks. Everyone I've met her is so nice. I love taking my babies here. Theyre very reasonable too. Plus if you book your next appointment the same day you pickup you get 10% off your next appointment. Go check them out.

The owner and I texted back and forth to go over what needed to be done and they opened the salon early so he could be on his own while we were dealing with a blowing coat that just wouldn't stop. He was fine and handled everything quite well and they avoided doing anything that involved loud noises and distractions and said he was extremely well behaved. The only issue was in the process - and it was a lot longer than what Petsmart does when our previous dog used to get his furminator treatments as he also blew coat (apparently they're distant relatives according to Embark!) and since Radar shedding so heavily that it took quite a while for them to remove all the extra fur without being able to vacuum it off him due to the noise, so likely in the process of getting most of it out with a rake his hair got cut a bit and felt kinda spiky for a while (still better than when he was blowing coat though) and his thin-skinned practically hairless belly near his hind legs got a small scratch with the rake - no big deal and easy to treat. They are very accommodating and the next time he needs to go to the groomer as opposed to being done by us at home we'll be bringing him back as he can't handle Petsmart like our last dog and is over 70lbs but the price was only slightly higher but with more focus and attention on Radar's special needs. I really appreciated that. It took longer than the estimate I was given but that is likely due to drying time and how long they spent removing as much loose fur as possible as opposed to spending just 15 minutes with a furminator. If a rake is needed, a rake is needed. Also he came back with beautiful nails but unfortunately the grooming process - and this happens at home too - caused his Balanoposthitis to act up and require medication for a bit. If you've never groomed a dog yourself you might blame groomers for these sorts of things but seeing as I used to do it as a part time job myself back when I was able I know how things go. Apparently all he wanted to do during his grooming session was the same thing he does to us and to his vet techs - give kisses the whole time. I highly recommend this place if you have a very skittish dog, or a larger breed, or both - just make sure you make the arrangements properly and you will be taken care of. I wish he hadn't needed the rake, or that the rake they used wasn't sharp enough to cut his hair or skin, which is why I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5, though in reality I would give an A- if I could grade that way - but that is an issue of tools available or chosen to be used out of tools available considering his temperament.

I could hear her barking and yelping for me as soon as she heard my voice. The cut was ok, but there was poop on the shirt I'm guessing because they leave them in crates and can't take them outside because there's no grass.
