We took our dog Louie to get PT once he started having back issues. He was in bad shape and dragging his back legs and had lost use and feeling. We visited with Lauren and she was great with Louie having him do exercises, giving laser treatment, stone treatment and massage. Louie has improved and is back walking/running and we're still visiting to get therapy in hopes of building up his strength, stamina and resistance. Lauren has been awesome and we cannot say enough positive things about her and this entire experience!

We were recommended to Canine PT and Me by both our Vet and Surgeon after our dog Luca had bilateral TPLO surgery. Dr. Lauren's expertise and gentle approach with Luca has been invaluable. Her commitment to his recovery is evident, and we're confident in a full recovery with her guidance. I couldn't imagine navigating this healing journey without Dr. Lauren's expertise. Highly recommend Dr. Lauren and Canine PT and Me!

I can't thank Kelsey enough! My dog Andy tore his CCL, he's nearly 12 and surgery seemed so risky, so when my dog's surgeon suggested PT first and gave me a list to chose from I was willing to give it a shot. I chose Kelsey because she is a DPT (I'm an OT) and did home visits. It was very easy to book an appointment and schedule something that fit with my work schedule. I couldn't believe it after the first session: my dog went from limping, painful, and low energy, to literally running around and happy again! He loved the exercises (he's a stubborn old man), and most importantly he loved Kelsey. Even my cat loved Kelsey and enjoyed watching Andy exercise! Now he's graduated from PT and is back to his old self: no pain meds, going for his usual walks, playing again! I'm so relieved we avoided surgery!

Dr Kelsey is just what we needed after our 11yr old American Eskimo Dog went through an unexpected hind leg amputation. He had a hard recovery, and we struggled to manage his pain while assisting him in his new tripod life. Dr Kelsey won over Ronan's heart instantly! Which says a lot since he is not a fan of strangers. Her calm energy, positive reinforcement and being able to read his subtle cues was just what we needed. With lots of hard work and practice, Ronan was back to being his confident self before long. Not only did Dr Kelsey take the time to work with Ronan, but she also taught us the skills that we need to carry on to help him as he ages. It may seem odd to get a physical therapist for your dog, but just like humans, pets can get immense benefits from therapy. It can improve the quality of their life, postpone or even eliminate the need for surgery, or in our case help Ronan re-learn how to walk, run, jump and play. It was bittersweet to have Ronan graduate PT with Dr Kelsey. The joy he had while working for her was so heart warming. But we know if he needs support as he ages, or a tune up here or there, that Dr Kelsey will have all the skills and know how to help our little guy.

Being a Bernese Mountain dog who believes he's more agile than he is - he's a jumper, spinner, runner and tumbler (which is an indication of his clumsiness) - he has chronic scapular weakness & cervical vertebral instability issues that can cause him intense discomfort at times. After trying the PT and acupuncture route, with relatively good but inconsistent success, we decided to try animal massage. Quimby has been a godsend for Atmos. They see each other weekly and it's made a world of difference in managing his chronic pain and tightness, and has mostly alleviated his behaviors around pain that used to be quite common. He loves his time with Quimby, and she often gets full 120 lb tackle hugs when she arrives. He's a giant puddle of calm happiness after every appointment. The impact of weekly massage for Atmos has been what seems to be a release of the muscle tightness that he constantly carried due to hard impact landings and speed spins. It's as though Quimby's hands have taught his muscles how to relax / release between appointments so he is no longer experiencing the same level of pain. We are incredibly thankful for Quimby and would highly recommend animal massage from ResQ to anyone with a pet who needs a gently, caring and kind healing touch.

Because so many dogs coming here are post-surgery or otherwise having issues, they're super careful to avoid K9-contact and so our first appointment was very low stress. Dr. Mandi worked with my dog to make sure everything was set for our plan. Thereafter we did physical therapy, where Trixie did as much PT as I did learning, water treadmill (which I thought was going to be a disaster but went swimmingly well). You see different team members when you come in so you get a really good perspective on different approaches to the PT/training (Trixie trains easily, me less so). They also are collecting all of the A-Team local providers here, including accupuncture etc.. 5-stars, definitely recommend.

It is clear how much they adore dogs, and returning them to an active life is their purpose. Beyond the therapy, each visit they looked any Benny for the progress of his recovery. At one point they reminded me that he really needs his two good walks a day. It made me realize that I needed to do better on his walks, and started the regimen. Beyond speeding his recovery, he has come to love his walk time. Benny is that aloof poodle where life is transactional. He was never sure that walks were cool, and he had to be convinced. Not anymore. He loves his walks. The first time around we used a different business, but you can just stop at Splash. TPLO surgery is enough of a difficult challenge. Splash made months 3 and 4, where he was off meds and wanting to do more, not just tolerable but successful. Benny is back. Freshly groomed, he is his old self. Thank you Splash.

Our senior girl swam with Kristen until the very end. It was the highlight of her week, and likely extended her life by at least a year. Her swimming improved her mobility, made her feel silly and goofy after, and helped us enjoy her until she was nearly 16! 2. Our young pup has elbow dysplasia, and at 1 year old our surgeon, Dr. Novo, recommended we see Kristen instead of surgery. She did great, avoided surgery and has no elbow issues. A year and a half ago she tore her cruciate ligament and subsequently had to have two TPLOs back to back. With a combination of underwater treadmill and Kristen's expertise, followed by a transition to swimming in the pool and she's got all the mobility of a young dog again! She's now 6 and in great health. 3. Our third dog strained his psoas and again underwater treadmill rehab was recommended. With Kristen's guidance he bounced back and now swims with his sister as often as he can in the pool. Both of our living dogs were seen by a new vet recently and she couldn't stop complimenting their body condition. She thought our 8 year old was 3 he has such great muscle tone Without Kristen I'm not sure where our dogs would be, but I'm thankful everyday we don't have to find out. I recommend hydrotherapy with Kristen to everyone for their pets, injured or not!

Jen is not a cookie-cutter physical therapist. Her approaches are not "traditional," but as a structural therapist, I immediately recognized Jen's deep integrative knowledge and her boldness in carrying it into her work. She helped connect a childhood head injury to my current symptoms--something other professionals completely missed--and she helped uncover obvious (to her) surgical scar tissue impacting mobility and movement patterns. Jen is one of a rising minority of young PTs who elect not to go into traditional institutional PT, because they refuse to "forget" what they actually know about the body in order to fit into a corporate insurance model. Jen's practice stands out for being truly integrative and holistic while completely grounded in science and pragmatism. I cannot recommend her enough.
