    Before and after.

Our vet recommended (referred us to) this clinic for our Beagle's lump in lower left eyelid. Lump was growing large and the conventional vet office provided and estimate of over $2500 for eye surgery that removes a portion of the eyelid. We wanted a less invasive and more cost effective option. The Animal Eye Doctor scheduled us very fast! We were very satisfied with Dr. Crystal Boles and her staff. Dr Boles asked many questions and examined carefully our pooch, and she produced a diagnose. A quick procedure followed, after which our dog was ready to go home and the problem has been addressed. 24h later, the area has healed really well. Highly recommending this pet ophthalmology clinic.

As a retired RN and certified vet tech I found all the staff very professional and knowledgeable.

I didn't realize Dr. Disney was no longer with the practice, so my dog was seen by Dr. Boles today and she was wonderful! She was friendly, knowledgeable and she explained things in an way that was easily understood. See you next year for Willie's annual exam!

My boxer and I had a very positive experience here today. Very kind and informative office staff. The Dr was great at explaining what had happened to my dogs eye and what we needed to do. She was very conservative and thoughtful with her approach. The cost was less then I expected. I highly recommend them and will go again!

    Happy patient with vision restored!

Dr. Disney and her team have been amazing. The clinic is well run, organized, and every appointment we have had has been seen on time. Dr. D and her staff, besides being great clinicians, are extremely caring. My dog gets excited for each visit and I got an update call from the doc immediately after surgery with an update. They give extremely detailed quotes, bills, and instructions that make you feel confident in the level of care and make insurance claims easy to file. We are grateful to have found such a great practice.

From the moment we met Justin at the front desk, we could see the kindness in his eyes as he let us know he would get us in a room right away even though we were early. The vet tech and doctor were equally as kind, explaining the process and giving us lots of choices. When I returned today for the ashes, again I met kind Justin at the front who left what he was doing to get the ashes for me. We are so grateful. I'm a new customer and I had to put down a $90 deposit (which is weird, but if you don't miss your appointment you get it back). Well I got into a car accident and was waiting for a tow truck, and while I'm trying to figure out who will pick up my daughter from daycare they call me to tell me I'm late. I had planned on calling them but my daughter and tow truck came first. I explained to the receptionist what happened and she told me I would need another deposit to reschedule. Meaning, I am out the first deposit. To me it feels like they are not in the business of their community as they cared more about their deposit than keeping a customer. The $90 was not that big of a deal, but the lack of compassion made me turned off from establishing care at this location.

From the moment we arrived, everyone was kind, caring, and genuinely compassionate. My cat was diagnosed with a urinary tract disease, and they took the time to explain everything in a way that was easy to understand. They were incredibly reassuring, answered all of my questions with patience, and never made me feel rushed or pressured into making decisions. What meant the most was how supportive they were. They truly cared not only about my cat's health but also about making sure I felt informed and comforted throughout the entire experience. It's clear that everyone there has a true passion for helping animals and the people who love them. I'm so grateful for the exceptional care they provided and would highly recommend Tanasbourne Veterinary Emergency to anyone in need of emergency veterinary care. Our ten year old orange tabby, Murray, needed to have a "cough" checked out. He was fine otherwise. They did a complete exam, took some blood, checked his BP and prescribed a steroid he needed to take for two weeks. I was able to get the pills down him for three days but he wasn't having any of it after the third day so I stopped. He's perfectly fine now and has no cough at all. I still need to take him back in for a urine analysis and will do so in the new year. The office and exam rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff and doctors are so empathetic and caring. You can still buy special diet foods and treats while you're there. The dogs and cats are kept separate which makes for a stress free visit. At our visit we noted seeing blood in our dogs urine and they did an ultrasound but didn't want to do a pee test based off the ultrasound. Well our dog kept having to urinate frequently following the appointment and there was still blood. So we called asking if we could start treatment for a UTI as our dog had a history of them and this was likely the issue. They said we needed to catch a urine sample and bring it in office to determine treatment. We did this another $100 later and they say there is no UTI and to bring her in for a clean catch sample and another ultrasound and more test. Mind you days are passing and our dog is not feeling better. We ultimately went to another vet up the road who treated her same day and was in the same price range as what we paid in CA. Their wellness visit was $30 cheaper too. It's unfortunate because our initial visit was positive but it just seemed like they wanted to keep charging us instead of treating our dog.
