Had my 2011 Toyota Camry detailed on 8/15/2023. Cup holder was dirty. Windows were dirty. Trunk mat was dirty. My car now has a musty smell to it. I paid for a detailing but it was nothing more than a glorified car wash. I'm very disappointed as I have taken my cars here to get detailed before. read more

Even though I was well back from the car in front of me when a 52,000 pound truck hits you in the rear I was pushed into the car in front of me. When a 52,000 pound truck slammed into the back of my Honda Accord I did not realize the extent of the damages. But I did know where I was going to bring my car for repairs. I came from California and was on a IT consulting project and got into a fender bender with my rental which was a Ford Truck. Even though the person that struck my truck from the rear was going to pay out of pocket, I wanted to be gentle and courteous in regards to this awkward situation. I had visited few autobody shops and then on the way back home, I took my Truck to these guys in Bethpage and BOY OH BOY, are they VERY expensive. My dad makes fun of me for the "new scratches that have appeared out of nowhere" so needless to say I've brought my car in on multiple occasions. First off, the detailing done here is phenomenal! My dad was even impressed. (For a girl with a baby and a puppy- my car needed a LOT of TLC.) I got it back without a speck of dust. John make sure that the job is perfect and the customer is happy. He knows a safe car is the ONLY car that should be on the road. He keeps in contact in regards to the progress of the work and notifies you as soon as it's done. IF you've had horror stories at collision places not taking care of your car, like I have...(with faulty repair work, a paint job that doesn't match, or a car coming back with an extra 3,000 miles miraculously added into the car. That shouldn't happen to anyone)... then consider coming here. They do it right the first time- and in a fast turn around time. I took my Acura MDX in to Cannon Collision of Bethpage for a full interior and exterior detailing. I had a groupon deal. We have a lab retriever and so, needless to say, the car was FULL of his hair---it would rain hair on us every time we sat in the car. Which is why I brought the car to be cleaned in the first place. :))) They did a beyond FANTASTIC job, pretty much all the hair was gone (if that can ever be possible). Not a good experience. Went to the shop for a minor scratch repair. Paid out of pocket and came out with a bigger problem of airbag sensor failure. Cannon collision refused to repair. I showed the problem inside their shop before leaving. Honda said they would charge $1000. I am ripped. read more

AVOID this auto body shop at all costs! In November 2018 Bill and his staff at Cannon Collision of Bethpage "fixed" my front head light blinker. They charged me for a new headlight and labor (about $200). Approximately 2 weeks later that same blinker headlight (that he "fixed") no longer worked. I brought it back to Bill at Cannon and he told me the problem MAYBE electrical and that his shop doesn't know how to fix electrical issues. He told me I'd now have to bring my car to someone else's shop to get it looked at and repaired. Obviously this answer didn't sit well with me because I felt like he didn't properly diagnose the problem correctly before I agreed to the $200 repair. On top of that I now had to start over at a different car shop and pay for this repair AGAIN. Since he didn't actually fix the issue I asked for my money back so that I can get the headlight repaired the right way somewhere else. Bill argued with me about not giving me a refund which included irrelevant and very unprofessional/condescending questions, such as what's my age as if I'm a juvenile (I'm 35 by the way). It was very strange. After many minutes of arguing with him about a refund and at this point just wanting to leave [to go to a real auto repair shop] I suggested just charging me for the part (the headlight) but refund what he charged me for the labor - again because he didn't fix it! He again refused and told me to take him to small claims court. All this over less than $100 (what the labor refund would have been). Now I'm back to square one with a broken headlight and down $200. Listen everybody, there's allot of auto body places around do yourself a favor and take your car to one where they back up their work. read more
