My friend and I visited on a Monday evening and parked along the street. The location looks like a house with several rooms inside with a variety of tables and chairs or couches. This provides and encourages the opportunity to sit and do work, play games with friends or even conduct a meeting. I saw a student and a tutor meeting up in one of the rooms. Our barista was friendly and knowledgeable about the history of Canon and where the beans were sourced from. We ordered our coffees and talked with him for a while. The Composer with honey and cinnamon was delicious! Not too overpowering on the flavors. We came back and ordered food. I got the breakfast burrito which was filled with eggs, meat and veggies (I particularly enjoyed the sun dried tomatoes) and came with salsa and a crema sauce. The burrito was a little small but it was filling! I will definitely be visiting again soon to try more of the menu! read more

How adorable is this place!?! This little coffee shop is a two bedroom home that has been converted to a coffee house so exploring a place to sit really does feel like home. Every room has cute decor and some have puzzles to do. You order at a counter in front of the kitchen and find a seat and they bring your order to you. We ordered the new spring flight that has just been released as well as the breakfast burrito and a lavender pop tart. For the flight we chose The Apiary latte, the Spring Fever latte, Monet's Garden, and the Spring Blossom matcha. My favorite of the flight was Monet's Garden with a close runner up in the Apiary. The breakfast burrito was also very good and lived up to a breakfast burrito standard. It's on the small side so everyone should get their own unless you're getting multiple items to try and split as we did. The lavender pop tart was beautiful, flaky and perfectly sweet! Friend invited me to try their Star Wars coffee flights & my god it seems like everything they make here is from the heavens. We went with the light side flight & it did not disappoint. We also went back and ordered the single Death Star drink from the dark side flight and it was probably the best coffee I've had in my life as it tasted just like an Oreo milkshake. If i wasn't on the other side of town they would have all my money all the time. Aside from coffee, the concept is adorable. Looks like they've converted a house into the shop & decorated & designed it like a study lounge with varying tables & chairs in each room. We saw many people with laptops & books so seems like a great place to study. You can also order when seated using an app & they bring everything to you. Also snagged a blueberry scone & a breakfast sandwich on a croissant. All amazing, nothing to complain about & I've recommended it to many since going. Canon Coffee is such a unique place. Once I arrived I initially thought my GPS had sent me to the wrong place since it's a house. It wasn't until I saw a girl coming from the side, that I confirmed that I was indeed at the right location. I walked into what I thought was the front door & immediately noticed I came in the wrong way. It is a house but the house is set up for creatives , meetings etc . There was a group in a room in a meeting and others were in the common area working. I walked until I ran into the cafe area and entrance, where you place your order (where the girl was coming out from when I arrived). After looking over the menu, The names of the coffees were so cute. I decided to order The Librarian, which is a dark mocha latte blended with buttery English toffee . ( I got it hot). I also ordered from their Valentines menu , I ordered a white chocolate latte w/strawberry foam. ( I got it cold/iced). I drank the iced coffee immediately and saved the other for the next day. I however did taste test both immediately. The iced coffee was so good , I loved the strawberry foam and the coffee was good in strength and sweetness. The Librarian was delicious, it had the right amount of sweetness and toffee, also good in strength. This place is such a unique setup and concept. It's not your average coffee shop , the setup is more comfortable making you feel at home. I would definitely recommend this place for coffee. They also serve food. I'm a big fan of the specialty drinks here. I've tried quite a few, but am always drawn back to the Apopkan. It's an orange and mocha flavor that just tastes so good both hot and iced! I love that they have multiple milk (dairy and non-dairy) options and the staff is always very helpful when I have questions or want a suggestion. The front of the shop has a few parking spots and if you go through the front door, you'll need to meander your way through to the back where the ordering desk is. On the side/back is more parking and another entrance. They have great seasonal drinks as well. My most recent fav of their holiday menu was the cherry cordial- so good! The hype is real. 5 star places on Yelp are very hard to find, but as the esteemed Guy Fieri would say, Canon Coffee is "the real deal." It is most definitely in a converted house and is tricky to find. But they have a little parking lot and you could probably get away with parking out on the charming brick street for a few minutes. Selection is amazing: tons of teas, coffees, frozen drinks, baked goods and hot food from the kitchen like sandwiches. I was very tempted by their scones in the case. My boo got a lemon cake pop and said it was 1000x better than sbux. She also ordered iced coffee with oatmilk. No stupid oatmilk shortages here! She loved her drink. I ordered a small black coffee AND a double espresso. The espresso was also better than sbux by a mile and I enjoyed it on-site. The house blend coffee was unique: it had some cinnamon notes. Even if you use milk, maybe try this one without. It's great. I hate the cliche of calling a place a "hidden gem," but that's exactly what Canon coffee is. I finally able to visit this coffee shop in Apopka. It's looks like a small house that they turned into a coffee house. They were not busy when I went, but I did noticed the parking area could be an issue if they are busy unless there's more parking in the other side. Anyway, there's a couple rooms with sofas and tables and chairs. It's so cozy and tastefully decorated. They have plenty of options with different coffee and milk. I've been here a few more times, all have been great visits. I tried the chocolate chip cookie and double chocolate muffin, which I ordered warmed/toasted. I also tried some of their teas, which can be customized. The customer service here is always fantastic. As far as the noise level, there's a big room next to the cashier, near one of the doorways, sometimes it's reserved for private parties, but when it's not, it's the perfect quiet spot to work or study in. read more

Canon Coffee possesses a very homie atmosphere, which pairs quite well with caffeinated beverages. It's like you're visiting someone's house. Ample seating options along with games and books to keep you entertained. Great place to come do work or to have a conversation. The owner is very friendly and clearly cares about her craft. I opted for the black americano. This decision was immediately justified upon my first sip. One of the best americanos I've had in Florida. You get to see the espresso shots pulled right in front of you. The shots were evenly distributed in both shot glasses, possessed a great crema, and were perfectly roasted. Located in a historic building this coffee shop is so unique and would be the perfect place to bring your laptop and get some work done or just bring a book and relax in one of their cozy rooms. The menu is very big so try and not get overwhelmed. You can always ask for suggestions :) I got a banana foster latte and it was so yummy that I started to drink it too fast. I have to slow my roll with coffee or else I get a little anxious but when coffee is this good it's hard to stop. lol Staff is very kind and patient. I absolutely enjoyed my full day at Canon Coffee! At first, it was hard to find but sure enough could not be missed by the slew of cars and smiling patrons. Inside, there were so many options for seating and several outlets for use. There are couches, regular dining tables for 2-4 people and even stools. Every single staff member had a smile and warm demeanor and that means something when it's early in the morning. They have food items as well as regular coffee assorted drinks. Been here on several occasions and love trying their seasonal drinks or sandwich of the day. My favorite drinks have been the artist, and the apple pie cider. If you ever need to tweak any of their specialty drinks you always have the option of bringing it to their attention. The atmosphere is very laid back and hospitable since the space was formerly a home. There is always a space to sit and enjoy your coffee, their WiFi is great, and they host group or live gatherings for several occasions. The service has always been great, all the staff is very friendly and they are quick to freshly prepare your order. They also have a customer punch card if you plan to visit frequently, as soon as you accumulate 10 visits you will get a free drink. This place is a house converted into a coffee shop so there are a bunch of rooms that you can sit in to eat and drink. I was recently staying in Apopka for my son's soccer tournament. I was looking for a place to get a coffee and some work done so I headed to Canon Coffee. I was a little confused when I walked into the house as to where to order since there were so many rooms but I wandered until I heard voices and found the kitchen. I ordered an Americano and a scone and found a quiet place to work. The coffee was perfect and I felt comfortable and was able to work for a while in a comfortable atmosphere. At first I wondered how this independent coffee shop could survive but then I began to notice more and more people coming inside. People came in to work in one of the numerous rooms, they met to catch up, etc. It was such a community atmosphere, I loved it. I dislike the big box coffee shops and this locally owned business made me realize just how important it is to support local. I enjoyed this place so much I went back the following day. read more
