If you can afford to live somewhere else, move there…read more Why? 1. They don't screen people properly and the leasing company has moved in people who smoke in their units. That's bad bc of #2. 2. The ventilation system isn't effective. The smokers fumes go to different floors and different parts of the building through the exhaust system. Residents with breathing issues have repeatedly reported problems, and health issues associated with poor air to the management company for over a year. The management company was not prepared to deal with it. Nothing like having a nice dinner party only to have all of your guests gassed by the smell of pot. And have people leave bc it's too overwhelming for them. 3. The faulty ventilation system often breaks down, and then doesn't work at all. If your neighbor or the person underneath you is cooking onions, garlic or some other strong smelling thing, guess where that goes? Into every nook and cranny of your pretty home. You will be surprised to know how strong cooking fumes can be, as they enter your home at various times of the day and night. When the ventilation system isn't working, cooking fumes can overpower your breathing and cause all sorts of breathing issues. 4. The managing company takes complaints from residents over the phone, then decides if you have to submit something in writing. Then doesn't follow-up to let you know what became of your request. Sadly, there isn't an online system to file maintenance issues. You have to call and speak to someone if you can get them. To file the complaint, they PDF it to you. You then fill it out and have to figure out how to fax it back or scan and email it back. 5. The small units do not have dishwashers, the cabinets are tinier than standard cabinets and are hung high, making it difficult to maximize upper shelves without a step stool. 6. The AC is tricky. Wiring on the AC is tricky. Your AC is wired to three different neighbors ACs. In order for yours to work, all of your neighbors have to have their AC on also. The AC is also an inefficient unit in the living room, and doesn't make it to the bedroom. You need to buy fans to help circulate the air around. 7. You have to find and pay for your own parking. 8. The dumpster is a block away behind another building. So, think of NH winter. . . you have to walk down an icy sidewalk hill to dump your trash in winter. They didn't include that need in the design of the building. Good things about the Endicott: 1. All utilities are included. 2. The maintenance guys are nice, friendly and willing to help you out. Be nice to them. They are stuck in this faulty system. 3. It is downtown living. 4. It has great windows. 5. Coin operated laundry in the building. The Endicott is a nice social justice experiment in concept. The idea supposedly was that the nonprofit that provides low income housing in Concord, could make money off of middle class market rate housing supplied at the Endicott. Know that they try to keep costs down and it might feel at times like your first slum lord apartment.

Apologies , for not having been able to have my twice annual chicken and pizza parties for your most deserving and incredible crew , thus far , due to my life threatening blackout and injuries suffered at my apartment , that has precluded me from driving but hopefully , I'll be cleared medically to drive again as soon as late Sept , from my heart specialist? Since , they're still trying to work though , why I blacked out , without any warning? Fortunately for me , my loving daughter and her mother have exhaustingly taken me to all my appointments since my April 12 collapse and sustained injuries that occured while free falling unconsciously in my kitchen and hitting my head on the dish washer that protruded out from the kitchen counter? Although there was a bloody mess in my kitchen and carpet , caused by me dragging myself to my phone to call for help , via 911 and then somehow crawling to my door to assist help from my wonderful neighbors , there was No greater bloody mess than on the dishwasher that my daughter's mother cleaned up around 1am of so , but not before taking many Pictures of what they shockingly found upon their arrival , after first leaving the Concord General Hospital with her brother after lovingly cleaning me up as well!!! We're forever grateful for the actions of my loving elderly neighbors for what they did for me that most horrific evening , in not only contacting my family as the paramedics worked feverishly to save my life , while yelling at my poor neighbor to get out , but also stayed up till that late hour to give my keys to my daughter's mother , so that could clean-up the bloody mess , thus , I wouldn't have to relive that horror after I regained consciousness but I surely thought I was going to leave this earth but only by the Grace of God was I saved , in Jesus' Name , Amen! Kudos to you Ms. Melanie for rewarding my incredible neighbors at my request for assisting in saving my life by gifting them apartment upgrades , via a brand new oven and refrigerator , shortly thereafter , whereas , I was only able to thank my Heroes with a $100.00 restaurant gift card , from my heart! Again , thank you dear Melanie for all you and your wonderful crew here at Alton Woods do for us tenants at this little slice of Heaven on Earth , that I proudly get to call home , and hopefully , for my going on 5th year? We've been here for about 1 month now…read more It is quiet with an abundance of wooded areas. Those are the positives. So, if you are new to the area and need a relatively affordable temporary dwelling, it will do. On the negative side, although the apartments are listed as "non-smoking," and NH is a "non-recreational-marijuana," use state, apparently, the folks out here can't help themselves. Both cigarettes and weed will leak into your residence at all hours (as early as 3:00 AM -6:30 AM) which kind of gives you an idea of what people need to live in these parts. Management, is friendly but play dumb when it comes to drugs. So, if you want that on the side, it could be a nice fit. The laundry is communal. So, whatever they have, staph/bedbugs, you will get if you use it. There is a Laundromat with oversized machines which you can sanitize before usage. The older people out here are very down to earth. There are a lot of Man-baby children with loud motorcycles and kids. Those are hit and miss. If you land in one of their buildings, you will know it. You can get weed out here if you want it. Some people actually understand it is SKANK week and stinks up the hallways and smoke it outside. Those are the good residents. So, though it is illegal, you are safe if you want to engage out here. If you have asthma, you will not do well at all. Just don't renew your lease.

(But I haven't had an issue with bed bugs until NEW people moving in.) She was telling me I didnt do the prep right for the pest people, people are still complaining they have bed bugs. I said to her well they came sprayed 3 times. When they came to do follow ups 5 different times I was never informed they were coming so I couldn't do anything. Thats also what the pest people said it wasn't my fault the landlord never called. Now my landlord is threatening to evict me and my children because apparently im not complying with anything. Ever since they sprayed last I HAVENT SEEN ANY BUGS! I told my landlord this but apparently the pest people said other wise which I think is ridiculous because all this company does is lie! Instead of replacing appliances they take parts from old ones and put them in. I finally got a new dishwasher after 3 years of trying them to get me one. If your a week late you get a demand for rent and eviction at the door for everyone to see. The landlord doesn't deal with tenant to tenant arguments or complaints. Landlord gets complaints on my children being loud threats to evict us over that. Dirty drug needles in the attic and also at the playground in the sand and in the pool area. There are drug dealers in the buildings they keep them here because they make money and pay rent on time. If your a family that has children please dont move here. I have been trying to move and I haven't found a decent place for my children. Or I would have already left.

The apartment we stayed in was in was Lofts at Mill One and it is so bad quality (infested with bugs, damage everywhere, windows not properly installed). Not to mention, the apartment started construction at 7am right outside our room which lasted for about a month even though we asked them to move it to the normal working hours of the day, the workers still decided to come as early as 7am. Things constantly broke and when we would reach out to maintenance to fix it, they would takes weeks to even fix a ceiling light. The apartment itself did not reflect the high rent of quality we were paying, it was honestly a scam and the amenities are not worth it (gym is very small with barely any equipment). Most of the Brady Sulllivan apartments that we have toured are like this unfortunately. Leasing office is also unprofessional when in correspondence with their residents. Believe reviews that are consistent about how slow maintenance is, or how bad parking is especially when it snows and you come back at work at around 5pm and they're telling you to move it two blocks away from here. Do your research and you will see similar reviews about very low quality, high rent, bad maintenance, and serious unprofessionalism. The leasing office says "everything is clearly stated in the lease and our rules are there to protect residents", it's up to you whether you want to live here but honestly I wish I had done more research and saved myself a year of giving Brady Sullivan my money. There are better apartments than staying at the lofts. Be smart and find the quality you deserve to stay in elsewhere.

I would not recommend Penacook Place Apartments…read more My experience has been extremely frustrating due to poor management. When you move in, you're required to sign a lease filled with rules, policies, and regulations that tenants are expected to follow. However, the office managers don't seem willing to enforce those same lease terms when other tenants violate them. Instead of addressing complaints, investigating issues, or holding tenants accountable according to the lease, the office's response is simply to tell residents to call the police. It feels like management avoids dealing with problems that are clearly their responsibility under the lease agreement. A lease should apply equally to everyone, and management should enforce it consistently. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience here. If you're looking for a property where management is responsive and willing to uphold the community rules they've asked everyone to sign, I would look elsewhere.

I would strongly advise anyone considering Penacook Place to think twice before signing a lease…read morehere. Our experience has been extremely disappointing due to management's refusal to enforce the terms of its own lease. We have repeatedly reported our upstairs neighbors for continuously smoking marijuana inside the building, despite the lease clearly prohibiting illegal substances on the property. We have also reported ongoing disturbances that have negatively affected our family's quality of life. Instead of addressing these violations, management has repeatedly dismissed our concerns and essentially told us there is nothing they are willing to do. It is incredibly frustrating to pay rent every month only to have lease violations ignored while management expects tenants to continue following every rule themselves. To make matters worse, the individuals causing these issues also work in the leasing office part-time, which creates the appearance of favoritism and raises serious concerns about whether all tenants are being held to the same standards. A lease is a two-way agreement. Tenants are expected to follow the rules, and management should be expected to enforce them fairly and consistently. In our experience, Penacook Place has failed to uphold its own lease terms and has shown little interest in resolving legitimate complaints. If you value responsive management, equal enforcement of lease agreements, and a peaceful living environment, I cannot recommend living here.

I'm not necessarily pleased with my experience at this apartment complex ("The Pines"), located right next to their office. Let me tell you about my home. This building appears to have been constructed in 1985, and they don't seem to update anything until a new replacement is absolutely necessary. My AC unit dramatically increased my electric bill (250% increase one month), so I gave up on that pretty quickly. The year on it? 1985. It's certainly not an efficient machine. My refrigerator was manufactured in November of 2002. Dishwasher model # is Kenmore 363.14038001. I can't find much information online about this, but it's rusty, slow, and loud. Certainly old and very inefficient. The bathroom counter and medicine cabinet look to be original. There is a small amount of rust, chips missing out of particle board, and it's very yellowy overall. The medicine cabinet is also small, and sits low enough that I have to bend down a little bit in order to see my face while shaving (I'm 5'11", slightly tall but no giant). The carpet seems worn. Even the heater vents have seen better days. The sliding screen door for the balcony doesn't slide well and constantly falls off the tracks. My bedroom closet doors have come off the tracks and won't go back in (although I prefer them off, so I just set them aside)... It just feels dingy in here. This truly is a bare-bones apartment. The hallways are depressing. Doors slam everywhere because they do not have door closers. Lights go out and take forever to get fixed. One window has been missing a screen the entire time I've lived here, so that area of hallway is buggy during the summer. The walls really need to be repainted, as the white paint is very dirty and worn. The floors are rarely vacuumed/mopped. Sections of hallway regularly smell like whatever people are smoking. It's also very hot all the time, as there is no circulation. It's just a miserable walk to my third floor apartment. I occasionally hear critters running around above me in the ceiling. Maybe it's time to set up some traps? Find out where they're getting in? Outside, nobody knows how to park. I wish we had assigned spots of some sort, because I never know where I'll be stuck squeezing into when I get home at night. I'm sometimes far away from my building. Certain areas could use some fresh lines, because the old ones are completely gone. It's a free-for-all over there. I will be moving out when my lease runs up just after Thanksgiving.

When moving in the room was great, newly renovated and very nice. The first night we saw roaches and every day since we've been seeing multiple. They never disclosed this to us! We spent so much time moving all of our stuff so they could have their exterminator come in to just spend 10 minutes doing a temporary job that hasn't made any difference, Rather than treating the entire apartment. We've spoken with others that live here and all have this issue too! Someone even told us that apon moving in that keystone said "if you get an infestation, it isn't our fault." So they rent these out to people who don't have any idea of the situation cause they know no one would move here. don't rent from these people PLEASE DON'T!!!! the price for atleast meadow Brook isn't even close to being acceptable, it might be the cheapest in Concord but that's for a reason they don't want to discuss! I have tried to get through to them to tell them just to exterminate the entire building, but they said they "don't want to scare tenants and don't want to have to move everyone out for the day" given that they would have to find a place for us all to go. This is HIGHLY unacceptable. They knowingly let you move your families in here with a roach infestation so all your belongings can potentially get ruined. They kept telling me they didn't know it was an issue, yet when I talk to a new person from here, they all say the same thing. I don't even think it's legal to move people into a building with an active infestation. They don't care because they don't have to deal with it! NOT MOVE INTO ANY KEYSTONE PROPERTY!!
