Great Mexican food and drink. Food is always good, drinks are always good. Service is always on top of it and makes sure you have what you need.

Food was ok here. The chips were warm and the salsa was good for starters. After sitting at the bar and being ignored by the bartender, for 15 minutes, the guy seating people got me them. After about 20 minutes my order was taken and I finally got my drink, coke. Nothing that took long. The chicken chimichanga was good. I ate and wanted to leave. Things took too long. The bartender was having an "off" night I am sure. I know what was wrong, but this review is not the place. The bar was very industrial. Easy for them to clean. The restaurant part was quaint with a guacamole bar. I watched the server out there on the floor and he was working hard. So maybe sit in the restaurant for better service.

I recently dined at Catina Del Rio, looking forward to enjoying some of their much-talked-about dishes. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfying. The "Guacamole Fresco," which I was eager to try, turned out to be incredibly bland and tasteless, to the extent that I had to request extra lime in an attempt to add some flavor to it. The tacos, another staple of their menu, were equally disappointing and in desperate need of improvement. While the restaurant's decor attempts to capture a Mexican-style ambiance, it was only passable and did little to enhance the overall dining experience. Given the lackluster quality of the food, I cannot recommend Catina Del Rio. It has sadly made its way onto my "Do Not Go To" list. For those looking for authentic and flavorful Mexican cuisine, there are undoubtedly better options out there. Service was also not so good they only come to get food order. Any other time I had to call them

This Mexican restaurant in S County was not bad. We ordered several dishes and this was my experience: - The Arroz con Pollo was very good and moist. - The Sour cream chicken enchiladas were also very nicely done. - The steak fajitas were a bit tough (asked for medium rare but they were cooked well done). - The tacos were average. Overall not a bad option in the area. Their menu is large and varied.

I am sadly disappointed with this place. The food here is never good and I am saddened by the lack of customer service skills.

Smaller shared parking lot to be mindful of here. Very welcoming staff that provided a great overview of the menu, drinks, made to take items and weekly specials. Casual relaxed atmosphere here with some music jamming in the background. Window bar seating if you are on your own or tables for four if meeting for a quick lunch bite. Started with a small chili which was fresh and full of flavor. For the main went with the Tuesday special with the recommended fish tacos (hearts of palm layered with nori flakes, crisp grated carrot, and shredded purple cabbage and a sliced jalapeño. Crispy tortilla with side of beans and rice). You can add a fresh pico and guac for additional prices, had both and were delicious! Assortment of drinks in the fridge along with some premade items (staff said it is rotational items and prepped earlier in the week if you want to max your options). After eating here can see what all the buzz was for a standout vegan option on island. A group came in after me and ordered a pizza that looked awesome as well. Will be back to try more of the menu when able!!

When you enter, there's a counter and a bell with a sign to ring it when you need help. There was a couple already inside of Sprout and Lentil perusing the menu. A woman came to the counter and sat us at different outdoor tables after taking our orders. Next time, I would get the burger that my husband ordered. I was envious as soon as the plate hit our table. My Cobb Salad was good, but the burger and fries were where it was at. Luckily, the fried cauliflower appetizer that we shared was really good.

There are one or two restaurants that are passable for the area and would probably be a solid 3-3.5 out of 5. This place is a 5 out of 5. This place could be a 6 out of 5 compared to my local restaurants. And believe me, I took nearly two years of Spanish in high school, so I know a thing or two about a thing or two. I ordered fish tacos and my wife ordered the enchiladas verde (green) as takeout. When I got to the restaurant, I was greeted by three (tres) lads whereby one of them promptly handed me my order. When I pulled the food out of the bag back at the hotel, I was greeted with an absolute masterpiece of culinary art, the fish tacos. The red cabbage slaw covering the tacos, mixed with the sauce was beautiful (bonita) and vibrant. The enchiladas verde looked just as good, but were less vibrant in presentation. It seemed like the chefs cared about the product they were serving to their customers. The rice that came with the enchiladas had a great consistency and not dry at all - I can't stand dry rice. My wife said the enchiladas themselves were flavorful and seasoned very well and not the "suburban white lady" kind of seasoning. However, she doesn't write the reviews - I do - so I will talk about the fish tacos. There were three of them and I got them made with the corn tortillas (tortillas). Any fish taco I have ever had has always been small nuggets of fish smattered through the taco. These bad boys were absolute units where the entire bottom of the taco was one large fried piece of haddock, covered in a somewhat tangy sauce, and topped with red cabbage. The sauce and red cabbage made for a bit of a messy meal, so be prepared to get your hands dirty if you order this. I would not recommend getting these (or the enchiladas) if you had to drive down US Route 1 at the apparent local speed limit of 75 miles per hour and expected to just chow on some tacos while doing so. By the way,, what's with that, RI drivers? It's not the Autobahn. I had a RideOn bus 5 ft from my bumper while doing 70 on there yesterday. Calm down (or should I say 'clam down', amirite?). Anyway, this food was very good and next time I am in town, I would like to go there and sit down to eat while trying to ignore the fact that half the people around me here sound like Peter Griffin.
