Loved Canyon Coffee! Such a cute coffee shop in Springdale with beautiful mountain views and the perfect vibe for grabbing breakfast or coffee before or after exploring Zion National Park. I ordered the avocado bagel and a vanilla matcha latte with almond milk, and both were so good. The avocado bagel was probably my favorite--the bagel itself was perfectly chewy and delicious, and everything tasted fresh. My cousin ordered a bear claw and a latte, and I tried some of her pastry too. The bear claw was really good, and she enjoyed her latte as well. It was definitely busy when we visited, which I expected given the location, but the staff was very nice and they kept things moving. Our order came out quickly despite the crowd. The location is hard to beat. Sitting there with coffee, good food, and the Springdale mountain views in the background was such a nice experience. It has that great local coffee shop feel while being conveniently located right outside Zion. Great food, great drinks, friendly service, and beautiful views. I would definitely stop here again when visiting Zion!

Ngl I was a little underwhelmed given the reviews I saw of this place on TikTok. That said - it's a cute little coffee spot right at the junction between Springdale and the entrance to Zion. They do have some limited customer parking, I think it's not more than 2 hours though so you can't park here then go to the park for the day. The drink I had was their hot lavender maple latte; I could taste some lavender but the flavor wasn't too strong. I couldn't really pick up on maple, but it did seem like there was something else there. The pastries looked delicious but I didn't order anything since I'd already had a lot of sugar. They have some seating outside, but inside it's very limited since it's small and they have gift display stuff in there that you can also buy. Overall if needing a coffee/immaculate bathroom on your way in or out of Zion this is a good spot to stop!

Great location to grab a cup of coffee, smoothie, and/or breakfast item. The food is fresh, coffee smooth, and staff friendly. While the shop itself is super small, there is seating outside to enjoy your food. Expect a line during peak season but it moves fast. We had the avocado toast, berry scone, and white mochas. Everything tasted great - light, fresh, and fulfilling. Make this a stop on your list if visiting Zion!

Canyon Coffee in Springdale is an absolute must-stop before heading into town or Zion National Park. The coffee is excellent whether you're ordering it hot or iced--smooth, well-balanced, and exactly what you need to start a day of exploring. But the real standout? The view. This place has one of the most beautiful backdrops you could ask for, with stunning red rock scenery that makes sipping your coffee feel like part of the Zion experience itself. It's the perfect spot to slow down for a moment before a hike or grab something to-go on your way into the park. Quick, easy, and incredibly scenic--Canyon Coffee is the kind of place you'll find yourself thinking about long after the trip is over. Highly recommend stopping here if you're anywhere near Springdale.

Really solid espresso that'll definitely put some pep in your step before a hike. This was my favorite coffee spot in Springdale, just minutes before reaching the entrance to Zion National Park. I loved the hot coconut mocha and the sugar-free vanilla latte was solid. The brown sugar latte was also good if you're into something sweeter with a cinnamony flavor (though $1.50 for an oat milk substitution felt a bit excessive). The avocado smash on an everything bagel was our go-to...simple, filling, and perfect before hitting the trails. The shop itself is very small and had a line out the door each time I passed by. With only two employees working nonstop, please be patient if your order is taking some time--these girls are absolutely working. I genuinely hope management is compensating them fairly, especially given the pricing. That said... $30 for two coffees and a bagel is wild, even for national park prices. I really enjoy the coffee and would come back as a treat, but it's more expensive than expected, so just know that going in.

This is such a cute spot to get your morning fix before a day in Zion! It's located so close to the entrance and typically has a line out the door, for good reason! They just so happened to have my favorite drink order (strawberry matcha) as the special the day I visited. absolute perfection! The food items are limited, but I made out pretty well with a ham and cheese croissant. And you can't beat the views!

Decided to stop by here after my camping trip inside Zion. I had a long drive (7 hours) back home to Los Angeles. Since it's technically the off season for camping, this shop was practically empty when I arrived at almost noon on a Saturday. Service was fast, but the baristas were a little standoff-ish but they looked like kids so can't really complain about that. I understand the location of this shop, but a medium sized iced coffee was just under $10. Just about worse than Starbucks prices. I was happy with the drink I got, I'd consider returning my next trip to the national park.

Having spent the better part of a week trekking through Zion National Park, I loved stopping into Canyon Coffee each morning! Their coffee is fantastic as is their selection of baked goods. We enjoyed the scones, ham & cheese croissant and avocado bagel. The shop itself is on the smaller side, about 10 customers can fit inside at once. There is also a little patio to sit and enjoy the mountain views while sipping on coffee. Every staff member we encountered at 7am was wonderful - totally stop in when in Zion! read more

I was very excited to try this coffee shop when I saw it had 5 stars but was very disappointed after trying it. The building is aesthetically pleasing but tiny and horribly overcrowded. I ordered a hot latte and when I tried it it was way, way, way too foamy for a latte. It was basically a 12 oz cappuccino which is not what I ordered. The foam was aerated badly causing it to sit on top instead of incorporating into the milk as it should. Not only that but the espresso tasted very burnt so between these two things it really couldn't have gotten much worse. Bad atmosphere, mediocre service, terrible coffee does not deserve five stars. read more

Had the employees close the door on me after arriving to this location after a long day of driving to the park and hiking all day. Commented on their instagram and have received no sort of response or reply so it is true that they did close it on me 10 minutes before 6pm on Thursday August 28, 2025 this year. Was extremely excited to try this place and their coffee and take home coffee beans but extremely disappointed and next time I'm in Zion I'll make sure to avoid this place. So unprofessional and ugly of a business or their employees to do that and receive no sort of reply or comment. read more

We dropped in to grab coffee quick between hikes. We got our drinks quickly. I was super impressed because there were only two baristas and a huge line. We tried a couple flavored lattes and they were both great, not too sweet! It's a small space with outdoors seating. If you're looking to kick back for a while, you'll want to get there early. read more

Canyon Coffee is home to one of the best coffees I have ever had in my entire life. I don't know how they made it so good, but it really was that good. As a teenager, I worked as a barista and had coffee-making down to a science. My go-to drink is a raspberry white chocolate mocha. Oftentimes, places don't have raspberry or they just completely botch the drink...not at Canyon Coffee. I cannot express to you enough--this may be the best coffee I've ever had. Upon arriving at Canyon Coffee, I thought to myself, "man, what a view". It really was incredible. Nestled up against the rock, was a cute little coffee shop. By little, I mean little. There was a line out the door on this particular brisk morning. All the seating is out on their patio and a majority of their indoor coffee shop is taken up by the barista area. All in all, everything at Canyon Coffee was great. The staff was fast and friendly, the coffee was delicious, and their location is prime real estate. I'll keep them in mind next time I am down at Zion and recommend them to anyone in the area! read more

Utahs coffee scene is better than can be imagined. This cute shop has the MOST gorgeous views, and if I could work from a coffee shop everyday, it would be this one. They had plenty of outdoor seating and I believe additional indoor seating upstairs. Outside had heat lamps to keep you warm and cozy. The baristas were so friendly and made such yummy drinks. This shop is right before the entrance to the National Park and I would definitely recommend a stop in before or after your visit. read more

Very cute small outdoor type coffee shop right near Zion national park. We had the hot chocolates which honestly was probably the best hot chocolate I've ever had. Canyon Coffee has the most spectacular view. There is 20 minute parking reserved for customers. The menu is great. There is only outdoor seating. They have some shade. I wish they were open later in the afternoon. read more
