All food taste average for such an expensive price I like the crispy pork belly despite them being too fatty. BBQ dish is tiny for $40 and most seems like store bought

Berry Cobbler French Toast & Coffee with a view.

My family and I had a lovely breakfast on the outdoor patio, enjoying a beautiful view of Zion Mountain. My daughter and I both enjoyed the Berry Cobbler French Toast on thick sliced brioche bread with berry compote, fresh berries and short bread crumble, while my hubby had the Denver Scramble with roasted peppers, onions, black forest ham, aged cheddar and crispy potatoes. We sat outside since we had our puppy with us. The service was friendly and attentive.

When you thought the $36 fried chicken plate was gonna be a plate of delicious plate of actual bone in fried chicken but instead it was fried dryyy flatten out chicken breast patties ... so dry.. what a disappointment! Mac and cheese didn't have any flavor also ... this was our third dining experience in Zion and nothing has been good here food made for tourists that's for sure . Only thing great was the bartender cuz she hosted served and bartended ! Seemed like it was short staffed.... yall need some awareness when it's busy like that and not let someone drown like that on a Friday dinner rush.

Delicious food, and great service! Can't beat this view either. Christine was helpful and attentive:) The manager even came to check on us and other tables which were very nice! We will be back when we are in Zion!

    Elegant and inviting bar

Scout Bar & Grill has been open for only a few days so, of course, they are still working out the details. Thus four stars, rather than five, for now, anyway. The restaurant is pleasant in appearance. The bar is quite elegant and inviting. It's someplace you'd love to sit and relax after a busy day in Zion. Service was friendly, but a bit slow, owing mainly to the newness of the operation. I'm guessing they'll work it out soon. The food was exceptionally delicious. We enjoyed the salmon, the earth burger, the mac and chesse, and especially the fried chicken, a house speciality. Also a fine selection of beverages with interesting cocktail options. Also the quantities are generous. The quality and tastiness of the food almost earns 5 stars. Prices are on the higher side for Springdale, but reasonable given the excellence of the food and the ambiance. I guessing that, in time, I will update this review to 5 stars. Not only did I enjoy Scout Bar & Grill, but everyone in my large party (15 people) was impressed and looked forward to coming again. A great start for a new restaurant!

Didn't see a hint of avocado on the Avocado toast. Lots of kale. Fresh fruit was days old melon, even though they have fresh berries available. Berries were served on French Toast, which was good. Service and ambiance are okay at breakfast.

Inside of the red cliffs lodge that is part of the Marriott. The service was great they could not have been better. They serve some of the typical Marriott food that you see at many of their restaurants.

    Morning Bird

Had breakfast here while staying at the hotel, and it was a great experience. The service was friendly and efficient, and the food was fresh and flavorful. The wait after ordering was short, and the portions were huge -- very filling! There's a good variety of options to suit everyone's tastes. Definitely a solid breakfast spot. Ordered the Morning Bird. Asked for the gravy on the side and changed the eggs from poached to scrambled. Potatoes could have been better texturally + salt. Overall, recommend.

There is indoor and outdoor seating but definitely try to eat outside. The view is so beautiful. The menu was pretty varied from tacos, sandwiches, burgers and meats. The drink menu was good too with lots of different draft beers and cocktails. We had the crispy Brussel sprouts -so good! The beer battered shrimp tacos on corn tortilla was really good and came with chips. Do try the "dirty soda"--vanilla root beer, coconut cream and lime. Loved it. The staff was super nice and even accommodated my request for no added salt. Definitely recommending this place!

The fried pickles were also fantastic, especially with the great ranch dip. However, the Mission Salad was just ok. We actually had to reorder it because they initially forgot to add the roasted corn and black beans. If a server had been available, this could have been addressed immediately. Instead, I had to go up to the counter, wait for someone, and then let them know about the order issue. Even after it was remade, there was simply too much lettuce, and for the price, it really isn't worth it. Service-wise, I was frustrated by having to tip before even being served. Additionally, the staff never checked on us during our meal to see if everything was good or to refill our water. I'm torn between a 3-star and a 4-star review because service means everything, especially in this day and age where everything is outrageously expensive.

As Huey Lewis said, "I'm happy to be stuck with you." The food was outstanding, the service from Freddie was excellent, and even the kids' meals were healthy, generous, and delicious. This is one of the more upscale dining spots in Springdale, and I'm glad we stumbled into it. The linguini with mussels and the quinoa salad were both plentiful, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The only miss for me was the Old Fashioned--I prefer mine with a large ice cube--but that's a minor complaint in an otherwise fantastic dining experience. Highly recommended. If not, I go with Oscar's Cafe and Switchback Grille which were other places I visited. The hamburgers here were nothing spectacular and particularly dry. The service was average at best. Everyone here love to say, "will let your server know." My mentor, Andrew Cherng of Panda, famously pointed out that is one way to push away responsibilities and make the customers wait even longer. Funny thing is that it's such a small request that can easily be taken care of immediately. Okay the highlight was the wild game meatloaf which was also the saving grace because I normally don't like meatloaf and this one was really well done. It made up for the dry burger and the average service as well as the so so ambiance, considering everything is quite expensive for a casual dining place.
