Visited after a day trip to ZION and hiking Angel's Landing. The staff were excellent and the pizza was delicious. Perfect snack after exiting Zion!

So incredibly grateful Slice of Zion made our heart shaped pizza for our anniversary!

Lousy pizza! Very little sauce, not much cheese and everything had very little flavor. And a 16" is $30.

After seeing all of the amazing reviews on Yelp, I just had to stop by! I stopped by around 7 in the evening and sat outside, which ended up being such a good choice. The outdoor seating had a really fun, relaxed feel to it, and it was nice to just sit down, eat, and enjoy the Springdale atmosphere! We were at the Zion National Park all day. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak on sourdough with just the steak and cheese, and it was so yummy! The meat was juicy and tender. The sandwich itself was satisfying. The sourdough was a great addition too. I don't typically have sourdough bread with my philly cheesesteak. I also had the chips with guacamole and salsa, and those were so delicious! The guacamole and salsa tasted fresh and homemade! I ended up eating all of the guacamole with the chips! It was so yummy. The salsa was slightly spicy. I also tried a bite of the garlic cheeseburger, and the patty was juicy and flavorful. I only had a bite, but it was enough to know that would be a good choice too! Service was great, and everything about the meal felt easy and enjoyable. After a full day at Zion, this was such a fun dinner spot and definitely one of those places I'd recommend if you're staying in Springdale or visiting the park. Oscar's Café is a must visit in Springdale. Good food, good service, outdoor seating, and a really fun post hike vibe. I'd absolutely come back.

The beer battered shrimp tacos on corn tortilla was really good and came with chips. Do try the "dirty soda"--vanilla root beer, coconut cream and lime. Loved it. The fried pickles were also fantastic, especially with the great ranch dip. However, the Mission Salad was just ok. We actually had to reorder it because they initially forgot to add the roasted corn and black beans. If a server had been available, this could have been addressed immediately. Instead, I had to go up to the counter, wait for someone, and then let them know about the order issue. Even after it was remade, there was simply too much lettuce, and for the price, it really isn't worth it. Service-wise, I was frustrated by having to tip before even being served. Additionally, the staff never checked on us during our meal to see if everything was good or to refill our water. I'm torn between a 3-star and a 4-star review because service means everything, especially in this day and age where everything is outrageously expensive.

I was dining solo, so I sat at the bar. The bar area is fairly large and can probably accommodate around 10-20 people. They also have a wine cellar, which is a nice feature, and a great selection of Italian favorites. I also appreciated that they were willing to customize drinks. I ordered a mojito made with vodka instead of rum, and the service at the bar was excellent. As I looked around the restaurant, I noticed the serving team was attentive and timely. The entire restaurant was very clean, and there was great attention to detail throughout--not only with the food and presentation, but also behind the bar. The bartender was new, but she was very attentive and accommodating with the changes and requests I made. Watching the kitchen as well, it was clear there was a lot of care and preparation put into every dish. The food looked great, the service was excellent, and the overall experience was wonderful. I wanted to enjoy Dulivia…read more My wife is Italian & loves bolognese. We are staying at the Springwood Suites in the same parking lot & Dulivia looks beautiful from the outside. I perused Yelp! & saw they have an elk bolognese. Wife wanted to try. I scanned the reviews...the majority opinion seemed to be that the physical space & the view are amazing...the food is good (not great), and the wait staff is lacking. Well, guess what, Yelp!: Yelp! knows what it's talking about. The restaurant itself is gorgeous: clean, luxurious, but not spartan or pretentious. We ordered a draft beer, a glass of wine, an appetizer of assorted Italian bread with olive oil & balsamic. My wife ordered the bolognese & I ordered the fettuccini Alfredo with meatballs. The waiter returned maybe 5 minutes later to let me know that they had to "burp" the keg. I wasn't in a hurry, so I told him to just bring my wife's wine & to bring the beer whenever it was handled. He brought the wine right away. My beer took maybe another 5min: no big deal - I had water & a lovely view to enjoy. Next...the entrees arrived. I asked the runner what happened to our appetizer? He asked what appetizer we had ordered...and returned with a cutting board with 6 slices of bread ($9!). No oil or balsamic. He scampered off as my question "isn't there supposed to be olive oil with this" hung in the air. Annoyed, we began eating our entrees. My wife said the bolognese was far from the best she'd had, but she enjoyed it. As for my Alfredo with meatballs - as chicken meatballs go, these were fine, with a little spicy kick...but were not moist at all. The fettuccini itself was very good - you could taste it despite the rich Alfredo sauce. The Alfredo sauce was above average, but there wasn't nearly enough on the pasta. If I had to guess, it sat under a heat lamp for a few minutes & the fresh fettuccini had absorbed too much of the sauce. The waiter came to check on us. I commented that the bread didn't come as an appetizer...and that I had to ask the runner for it...and that we still didn't have the oil & vinegar to go with it. He seemed crestfallen & said he was going to speak to the manager (or maybe he said owner...not positive). He came back with oil & vinegar. Then a blonde lady with an affected way of speaking came to discuss the Bread Situation. We related what had happened & she apologized. We had a scoop of key lime gelato for dessert - the best tasting thing we had. When the check came, the waiter said "the bread has been taken off your bill...sorry again for that." My wife scanned the bill & replied "no...it's still on here." The waiter took a gander...rolled his eyes...and went to speak with the blonde. He returned & said "I apologize...she says she isn't removing it from your bill. I feel horrible...if you want, I'll pay for the bread." Of course we didn't accept. We settled the bill & left. The decent food just was not worth the lackluster service & prices. Should'a grabbed a pizza & eaten it outside. Live & learn.

The shrimp tacos were fresh, juicy, and packed with flavor - perfectly seasoned shrimp with great toppings and that soft tortilla that holds it all together without falling apart. Highly recommend! Then the coconut shrimp - crispy on the outside, tender inside, with that sweet coconut flavor that pairs amazingly with the dipping sauce. Such a tasty twist. But the star for me was the chimichurri ribeye steak - cooked just right, super tender, and the chimichurri sauce brought bright, herby freshness that cut through the richness perfectly. One of the best steaks I've had in a casual spot like this. Everything felt fresh and housemade, portions were generous, and the vibe is chill and welcoming. If you're in the area (or making a trip!), do yourself a favor and hit up Whiptail Grill. We'll definitely be back next time we're around - craving that chimichurri ribeye already! I ordered the BBQ Bacon Burger and the Carne Asada Taco Plate. The burger was clearly made long before it was served and had been sitting under a warmer for far too long. The bun and patty were dry, and the sauce was so ordinary that I honestly would have preferred a burger from McDonald's. The carne asada tacos were even worse. The meat wasn't seasoned at all, and there were far too many large chunks of fat, making it unpleasant to chew. It tasted like it was made by someone who doesn't even know the basics of making tacos. I asked for some hot sauce, and later noticed they had charged me an extra $2 for it. When I asked why, the employee (or maybe the owner) simply said, "If you don't want it, I'll take it off." That wasn't the point. I could have paid the $2 without any problem, but the attitude was rude and unprofessional, and honestly disgusting. If you're going to serve tacos, at least learn the basics. I'd suggest taking a trip to Los Angeles and learning how real tacos are made. While you're there, maybe stop by McDonald's and see how they make a better burger, too. The food was a huge disappointment and completely failed to live up to the Yelp ratings. My trip to Zion National Park didn't start well because of this meal, but thankfully the sunset was beautiful enough to make me forget about this terrible dining experience.

Funny thing is that it's such a small request that can easily be taken care of immediately. Okay the highlight was the wild game meatloaf which was also the saving grace because I normally don't like meatloaf and this one was really well done.
