I like the taste of açaí better, but pitaya is lower in sugar/calories. Had it blended with coconut milk, pineapple and mango. Fresh fruit toppings were also pineapple and mango. The food was good but overpriced. Paying $9 for a sandwhich, it ought to at least come with a side of chips and a pickle or something, but when it came out smaller than the standard bread loaf size, I was quite disappointed. The foot long hot dog was also $9 and came with nothing else. Nine dollars for a hot dog is outrageous. The proprietor was nice but it was a little awkward to eat just a few feet from where all the workers stood at the counter watching us, the owner continuing to ask us questions about her food while our mouths were full. I am not upset that we tried it and honestly want to recreate my sandwhich at home but I would not go again. read more

Not sure where the good reviews are coming from, but this place was not what I expected. I was hoping for a healthy acai bowl, and a delicious homemade sandwich. I got neither. The acai bowl was tiny, runny, and tasted cheap. They said they get their granola from Walmart (which is definitely not healthy), so I skipped that. I did add peanut butter, and I'm pretty sure it's the cheap stuff with added sugar. The fruit on top was mushy and tasted like previously frozen, not fresh. I do not recommend you get this. The turkey sandwich with cream cheese cranberry spread was not for us. Again, I'm pretty sure the bread and thin sliced deli meat Turkey came from Walmart. We did not like it. On top of that, it took so long to get our food, and there was hardly anyone in the store. I just paid eight dollars for a bratwurst with cheese and saurkraut. When I go to a bistro, I would expect something that tells me the food has been thought through and there's flavor, etc. etc. I paid for a basic bratwurst, no flavor other than what little bit was provided by the sauerkraut. The Mustard in the packets was so old I could barely even get it out. I would've expected to have a bratwurst marinated in some type of broth and then grilled. Had an Acai Bowl and Yogurt Parfait both of which were delicious...and I dont know for sure but felt a lot less expensive (and portions ample). As for those complaining about the healthy or not aspects ...let's be real. You're likely going to sacrifice some or all of the following with a true healthy spot: taste, value, convenience. This is an adorable place to stop for a light bite if you are in town for the Shakespeare Festival. They have something for most tastes from smoothies, açaí bowls, sandwiches and salads all at affordable prices. My mini bowl and half sandwich came to about $13. Everything is freshly made to order with quality ingredients. I got the coco dream bowl and the honey bacon delight sandwich. It was the perfect sweet and savory combo. They even offer a small student discount if you show your ID. The place is styled like a cute cafe with picnic bench seating, free water and an adorable painted window. Cedar City has some of the nicest most welcoming places to enjoy a meal but this place has the cruelest lady running it . As we were waiting to be waited on she was demanding an up sale to the couple ahead of us and they didn't get desert so she ranted for a few minutes before waiting on anyone else . Then started calling people names out of nowhere. Throwing things . I peaked my head in one other time to see if that may have just been an employee so I could see if we wanted to give it another chance and the same lady was verbally abusing a young girl . She also called a man that looked about 80 the N Word as he left because he paid with change . Never ever ever go in there . The Tea Tok place nearby is a nice new little place to try . What a pleasant surprise to find such a quality, açai bowl Café in a small town. The atmosphere was quite basic. Nothing special. What you would expect from chain fast food type restaurant. However, I came for the açai, and it was delicious. I ordered the Coco Dream. The toppings were plentiful, fresh, and delicious. I had peanut butter and chocolate with an assortment of berries and other fresh fruit toppings. It took me no time to get through the properly size medium bowl. The service time was a bit long as people were waiting for their order. However, a delicious Açaí bowl takes time to prepare fresh, and it was more than worth the wait. read more

The issue is the wait time and value for what you get. I think I waited close to half an hour for a sandwich and açaí bowl and my order was $25. There were a ton of people working (at least 5) and only one order ahead of us so I really couldn't justify the wait. So many options! It was very hard to decide with all the delicious-sounding choices so I ended up doing the build-my-own bowl. I got to choose multiple fruits and toppings plus regular, coconut, or almond milk. It's nice having the option of a dairy free, no added sugar, naturally sweet dessert. Everything was blended together well for a wonderfully smooth consistency and then the toppings were arranged in a beautiful presentation. Dad got the acai smoothie and really enjoyed it too. The açaí bowls are amazing, but the service is subpar every single time we eat here. We have never received friendly service, and every single employee seems to be bothered by having to deal with customers. The most recent time we went, the store was dead yet we witnessed the girl behind the counter ignore the phone every time it rang, and would decline the calls after just a few rings, and then she finally just unplugged it. It's a shame that there isn't another açaí bowl place in town, because they would get my service over BB. I dislike dealing with the employees here, so I doordash it 90% of the time. I have been here three or four times and luckily I have come when it's not busy. When there is more than a couple people in line it takes quite a while to get your order. The açaí bowls are what I come for and they would be so so much better and worth the price if the fruit was fresh. The kiwi, strawberries and bananas are fresh but all of the berries are frozen and the fruits like pineapple and mango or canned. Went at noon on a weekday and waited 55 minutes for an açaí bowl, with the 3 people ahead of me also waiting that long or longer just because one person ordered 5 items. 4 people sitting there for over an hour with no items coming out.
