This is an adorable place to stop for a light bite if you are in town for the Shakespeare Festival. They have something for most tastes from smoothies, açaí bowls, sandwiches and salads all at affordable prices. My mini bowl and half sandwich came to about $13. Everything is freshly made to order with quality ingredients. I got the coco dream bowl and the honey bacon delight sandwich. It was the perfect sweet and savory combo. They even offer a small student discount if you show your ID. The place is styled like a cute cafe with picnic bench seating, free water and an adorable painted window. Staff was super friendly in making recommendations and during checkout and food delivery. I wouldn't hesitate to support this business again.

It's so tasty and delicious! It was recommended by the Utah Shakespeare festival website and I was looking for something healthy and organic and I found it! So good and has a discount for students and college too!

Yum! We were needing a good dose of vitamins from fruit after traveling all morning. We like supporting local so we chose this location as it was between Joanne Fabrics and Walmart to stock up on traveling items. Nice place! Decorated for Christmas and Christmas music playing.

    Summer in Cedar

What a nice spot! Great customer service too! Both the employees were very nice and helpful! It's a chill place as well with soft music playing in the background. I ordered the summer in cedar and it's fricken awesome! Definitely recommend this chill spot for desert or a cool smoothie!

First time visit and was not disappointed! What a refreshing little eatery! I got a small Stoked açaí bowl - it was delicious! Can't wait to try the others.

Stopped here on my way to St. George and now have to make special trips just for the Summer in Cedar (açaí bowl) I am an avid açaí bowl eater, Hawaii- California you name it I've tried it. I was floored at the tropical tastes such a small town could deliver! I mean seriously I can say it was the best bowl I have ate. I was not only pleased with the bowl itself but also with their allergy friendly menu. If you give the Summer in Cedar a try I recommend swapping the peanut butter for almond butter (this won't be regretted) Their service is much deserved.

Always good food. Takes forever though. There was 1 person in front of us, we only ordered 2 bowls and two wellness shots. We are going on over 40 minutes from when we ordered and still don't have our bowls. There are 3 people working (more than enough) The people behind us ordered sandwiches and they have come and gone, yet we are still waiting.

The cortado was very nice to drink. It was smooth yet bold in coffee flavor. The breakfast sandwich was very good. The only thing I did not like was that they did not toast the ciabatta, which was odd. I warm breakfast sandwich deserves a nice warm bun. The breakfast sandwich came with a friend egg, crispy bacon, spinach, cheddar cheese, fresh tomatoes, and a house spread, which was tasty. If only they would have toasted the ciabatta bread it would have been great. My friend mentioned the apple nachos were great. The sliced green apples were crisp, the granola tasty and crunchy, and the drizzle of honey was perfect. The service was very good. The peeps were friendly and welcoming. This place also doubles as a yoga studio. There plenty of parking right out in front. Free Wi-Fi is available.

They had lots of seating, including some comfy couches--I LOVE a laidback coffee shop! The decor was very modern with a clean, elegant vibe. Tons of natural light as well. There were lots of drinks to choose from, and they also offered food (but we had already eaten)! The barista was very helpful in describing drinks which helped me narrow down my choices. The shop shares some space with a yoga studio, so the bathrooms are large and spacious, have toiletries for freshening up, and some even have showers! For a small town coffee shop, Bristlecone really blew it out of the waters and amazed me! I'm super happy we stopped in, and can't wait for my next drive up to Brian Head to stop in again!!!

While ordering at the counter, I needed to make a quick adjustment after getting confused about one of the items. During that moment, a 'white' gentleman was waiting behind me, and instead of simply acknowledging him with "I'll be with you shortly," the lady staff apologized to him for my delay in ordering (according to her). Shortly after, while I was still in the middle of ordering and asking about tea options, she abruptly moved on to take his order without any explanation or communication. The interaction felt dismissive and uncomfortable as well I felt strong I am treated with racism, especially in the condition when I was pregnant who crave all good food.... As for the food, most of it was enjoyable. The scrambled eggs on the croissant and the pancakes were well done. However, the onion soup was overly salty, likely due to the cheese which was in the soup and also on the bread. Another downside, especially as first-time visitors, was the lack of guidance. We weren't informed that water was self-serve, and only realized it after noticing another guest getting it themselves. Interestingly, when leaving, we saw staff pouring water for newly seated guests, which added to the inconsistency. Overall, the food showed effort from the kitchen, but the service experience was disappointing. The 2-star rating is mainly in appreciation of the quality of the dishes. Cafe is quite small and we felt hot, as there's only a portable AC that couldn't accommodate that size of room. Not recommended place, even this is one of the rarest cafe in town. Rather to spend money to somewhere worthy and respect you as guest, no matter what roots you have.

When the food arrived, both the burger and salad looked promising, but sometimes, as one knows, looks can be deceiving. For a cheese burger, the burger was a little undersized, in my opinion, and although the quality of the beef was very good and tasted quite good, I could not overlook the fact, that they served the burger with a cold bun. That mishap really bothers me. Cold bread on a burger, simply does not work. I am assuming somebody just missed a step, but that one extra missed step put a huge let down on the burger. My friend's chicken Caesar salad looked promising, but unfortunately, the chicken was very over-salted. You could consume a few pieces of the chicken before becoming overwhelmed with salt. We left the chicken, but ate the salad, which was good. We notified, the server regarding the over salting of the chicken, and she stated she would let the prep team know. No apology nor willingness to make it up. The service was friendly enough, but if you ask me if things could have been better, I would say, "absolutely." Toast those buns and taste your food before it makes it to the pass.
