I Took 6 Halloween costumes for myself, my husband, my 17 year old and my 11 year old twins in to get pressed to get rid of the packaging wrinkles. I asked the owner if it would be possible to do because some of the costumes had plastic stitched into the fabric and 2 of the costumes were a abnormal type of fabric. After she inspected all of my costumes she assured me that they could do what needed to be done. I handed them over Monday morning and had a 2 day window to pick them all up. I showed up Wednesday morning at 9:00 o'clock and was AMAZED at how well of a job they did!!! Every costume was neatly pressed and all of them looked better then when I originally got them. I have not been to this place yet, nor have I had any service done here yet either but the fact that: they open @ 7am, its only $14.00 to fix a zipper on my brothers pants, & they provide NEXT DAY service is a GREAT thing as it is! The other places I googled or yelped close to me in Riverside were all: not open til 9 or 10am, too expensive, too far, or didn't provide next day services!! So to find this place is a score! Besides all that, I've been to the area where this cleaners is located at & the neighborhood, & parking lot is pretty sweet. I brought a pair of jeans in to be taken in, i asked if i could bring them back in if they still didn't fit and i was told yes. Went to go take them back today to get the inseam taken in and at first she told me no she can't because there's not enough fabric between the pockets, but then quickly changed it and said it'd be $45 if i wanted it done. 63 dollars in total to get a pair of jeans taken in is HORRIBLE. complete lack of customer service , will never return read more

Overall good experience. The two items I did take for alterations I had to ask them to readjust the alterations they wanted to make because the straps were uneven on a dress and then with a bridesmaid dress I brought I tried on and the hemming was uneven. I would've given 3 stars but they did really well in responding and fixing it at no cost. It was just a bummer with the back and forth and especially for what you pay to get alterations. If I could give them 0 stars I would. They are SO DISRESPECTFUL. They argued with me for 30 minutes because they did a poor job altering my jeans. DO NOT BRING YOUR JEANS HERE. I had them alter 3 pairs of pants for me and they altered one leaving the line in the back of my jeans crooked and I told them I did not like it. They said i would no longer be able to make alterations with them because they ruined my pants and they were mad i was not happy with the work. They took me out of the system and said I was out of their system. I will not be going back. The alteration was terrible and they tried to convince me that it was supposed to look like that. read more

Good prices, but the service is lacking. I took three pairs of pants in to by hymed, the tailor had me try them on and marked them. I dropped them Off to the staff at the counter and told them They we're being hymed (obvious, they were marked and brand new with tags), she gave me my receipt and I was liked out. Later that week we get a call that they weren't sure what I wanted done with the pants. The same lady that I dropped the clothes off with proceeded to argue with me on the phone and insisted that I told her I wanted them washed. It got resolved, but way to treat your customers like liars. read more

If you're looking for a place to get your clothes tailored, steer clear. Went in to get my simple dress shortened and the straps taken in - $75.... $55 to get it shortened and $20 for the straps. I couldn't believe when she told me the price and there wasn't even a rush fee considering I was going to pick it up a week later. Due to limited options and my lack of time and busy work schedule, I decided to go ahead with it anyway. Got home and tried on the dress only to realize that she had made the straps way too tight! With the event tomorrow, I will end up having to deal with the pain of the dress digging into my back the entire day. Will NOT be going back. read more

I remember when I entered college 5 years ago my mom used to always tell me to take care of my business clothes because they were expensive. So 5 years later and I still use this particular location for my clothes if I need them cleaned. I've only had one problem where a shirt wasn't don't by the time they told me it would be done. Other then that though every time I've used them my clothes have come out pristine. They are a little on the pricier side for clothes though but it shows in their work and service. read more

I've used this cleaners a handful of times and each time I couldn't be happier. They even have a talented tailor on site that has tailored all my jeans to better fit my waist. The most recent time which prompted this review, I needed some stitching to be fixed on a dress. I explained that I needed it done by the next day for a last minute event. The lady at the counter, Oralia was so NICE as was the alterations lady! They called me later that same afternoon that my dress was done. When I picked it up it was perfect! I have only used this place twice, but both times I have been very pleased by the experience. The first time I had unpacked my wedding veil for my daughter to use during her first communion. After years of being packed up it was quite smashed and wrinkled. I didn't know what to do but I stopped by the Canyon Crest Cleaners and they took it right back, steamed it right away and had it looking like new. They were so kind they didn't even charge me for the service that time! The second time was yesterday, I desperately needed a same day service as my husband had a short notice promotion interview scheduled. Canyon Crest Dry Cleaners (CCDC) has been my dry cleaner of choice since starting at UCR back in 2012. When I began searching for a reliable dry cleaner close to campus, this was one of the best options I found on Yelp. I use them mostly for laundering dress shirts but occasionally for dry cleaning a suit or other garments. PRICE At this point in time, I can't really say much about their prices in comparison to others. I believe I chose CCDC a few years ago for their low prices and location. Its possible their prices might have gone up but I haven't noticed that. However, I can attest to the quality of their service. CUSTOMER SERVICE Regarding their service, I think their great. The people working their aren't young and full of energy but they're polite. I'm usually really good about getting my clothes to them well in advance of the occasion in which I need them for but there have been times when I needed something within 1-2 days and when I asked them if they could do this, they said they certainly could, so they're very accommodating if you ask. In one instance, I took a shirt in to be cleaned that was missing a button and they took the spare and sowed it on without me even having to ask and it was at no extra cost to me. I think this shows initiative and an ability to anticipate the customer's needs, which is great customer service. I've sent a few friends to location when they've asked me where they could get some dry cleaning done. One friend had a horrible experience, but frankly he isn't the nicest person so I can see how he might of had a bad experience if he went in there with a cruddy attitude. Then Ive had a friend who I know is a lot more mature and shows respect toward people and he said everything worked out well. I'm just saying that their service has been above average in my experience. After discovering this place, I haven't gone anywhere else. read more

This place is very accommodating to their customers needs and were able to get my husbands suit and long sleeve dress shirt done in the short time frame that we needed, without making me feel like I was putting them out. I was so thankful for their ability to provide a quick (and good) service. Then, our other items that did not need rushed were ready this evening but we were pushing their closing time of 7pm so I gave them a call and the lady pulled all of our items so that they were ready for us as soon as we walked in. I took a dress that was lined in to be hemmed. When I got it back the lining from the waist down had been cut out instead of hemmed along with the dress. When I took it back in to ask why they would cut out the lining and expecting to have it fixed I was told it didn't have lining in it when I brought it in. She said I would have been charged double if it had and since I wasn't that was proof it wasn't lined. I have been taking my dry cleaning there every month for a number of years and had several items tailored so I was dumbfounded at the response. Instead of acknowledging a mistake had been made and offering to repair the damage, I was brushed off and it was insinuated that I was lying about the dress being lined. Terrible way to treat any customer, even worse when it is a regular long time customer. read more

I love this local business. The staff is very friendly and has always done their best to take great care of my garments and items I bring in. A few moths back a blanket that is very special to me got a little turn up in my washer. I took it to their seamstress and she made it good as new. I've taken many items there for alterations and they always do an excellent job as well as turn them around very fast. Even if it's not perfect, like one time a hem wasn't even all the way around after they altered it, they apologized and fixed it with no additional charge and had it ready the next day. I bring in a $900.00 Italian suit for alterations and you could see the $$$ signs light up. Thing is I was in a rush and I could have done it in LA for $40 easy. They raked me over the coals for $80.00 for minimal work. Did they do a good job, yeah, it was fine. Not anything I couldn't get in LA for $40.00 but I'd never go back now. They lost a long term customer by shredding me on price. Don't EVER bring a suit in here for fitting. I forgot to mention that when I questioned the price, and I was polite, the Asian ladies got angry and started speaking back and forth... not in English. They kept that up until I left. I'm pretty sure they weren't saying exactly............ nice things. I don't speak the language, but facial expressions are fairly universal in these circumstances. read more

I get my alterations done here, and although I've only had simple alterations done in the last few years, they've done a wonderful job, and often on a fast deadline. That being said, I thought that they were too expensive and didn't do good enough pressing for the money, so I never get clothes dry cleaned here. There's another tailor in Canyon Crest and I've never tried them out; I feel pretty loyal to this place. read more

They ruined my skirt. I am pretty sure they did not dry clean my skirt because my skirt length is half shorter than before. It used to be a mid skirt, now it is a mini skirt. I have to buy a new one, and it cost me over $100 again! They are pricy, and they do not worth the money. read more

I come here all the time to get my clothes dry cleaned and decided to try out the alterations here for my brand new coat. When I came to pick up my coat, one of the arms was perfect and the other was bigger and oblong shaped... I'm guessing the perfect side was the side the lady pinned while I was getting fitted.. So unprofessional. If you can't tailor properly, then don't offer the service and ask for $28 for two sleeves that don't match. I didn't say anything because I honestly did not want to deal with the drama or risk them messing it up even more. I would not recommend coming here for alterations. And I can't believe they do wedding dresses!? I'm so glad I didn't bring my wedding dress here to be altered. I will say the dry cleaning hasn't been messed up yet but it is quite expensive. read more
