First of all pizza was good. Ambiance - fine. Customer treatment - as rude as we've ever been treated. - Ordered and received our "Godfather" pizza from the pizza cook - Started with our first slice - good - the same cook comes by and replaces our pizza with another one assuming a wrong order. He says nothing to us. We assume an incorrect order as well, begin a slice as well. BUT Not the pizza we ordered as it was the initial one that was correct. We ask for the original one he took from us. - NEXT he RUDELY PLOPS the original pizza on our table and takes the second one without any explanation or discussion. Quickly walks away. Now my wife and I are confused and stunned at the disrespect (petulance) from an adult man . He proceeds to slam the wrongly ordered pizza beyond the counter and glances back at us with frustration. Others in the restaurant witness his odd behavior as well. We respectfully did address his actions with the cashier but did not hear back from him. I've only eaten here three times. On my first two visits, the pizzas were pretty good (I'm from Philadelphia, so I'm kind of a food snob). Unfortunately, my third visit wasn't nearly as good. One thing I judge a restaurant on is consistency, and the third pizza fell short. It wasn't much better than Domino's, which was disappointing. Save yourself the hassle, money, time and call ahead for every basic detail--or better yet, go somewhere else. Since their hours aren't posted online, I called at 7 PM and was told they were open until 10 PM. We arrived at 8:55 PM, only to find the entire dining room already shut down and staff visibly annoyed that we walked in, lights off, and the staff of about 10 walking around waiting to leave. It turns out dine-in was closed and they were only doing takeout, offering to let us eat outside in 98-degree heat. If your policies change or dine-in closes early, put it on your website or tell customers when they call. Basic communication and customer service go a long way, and this was an utter disappointment. Delicious food, regular crust and gluten free. Polite, quiet staff Ambiance, not so much. They have a clean and tidy dining area but they must get more carry out than dine in. The place offers specialty and customizable pizzas. The first three toppings are free, with a $1 charge for each additional topping or substitution. We ordered the 16" Family pizzas (Supreme and Nashville Hot Pie), which are large and incredibly filling, making them great for families. We also ordered a side of the Cheesy Garlic Bread ($14). However, be prepared for a busy atmosphere, especially during dinner time. The crust is somewhat thin but surprisingly doughy and soft, which was unexpected. My favorite was the Nashville Hot Pie. The pickles on pizza -- definitely not something you see every day -- surprisingly worked well. It's savory and tangy, without the sweetness that you might find in a BBQ chicken pizza. The Supreme tasted like a typically Combo pizza from Costco, nothing exceptional. As for the Cheesy Garlic Bread, it tasted very similar to a basic cheese pizza, lacking a strong garlic flavor. We were disappointed as we were expecting a more garlicky bite. You can choose between marinara or ranch for dipping. Super filling and carb heavy. If that's what they told you, you could incorporate it like this: The worst customer service I've experienced in a long time. We waited 45 minutes for a small cheese pizza. During that time, customers who arrived after us received their food, finished eating, and left before our pizza ever came out. We had also ordered other pizzas that arrived about 25 minutes earlier, so our order was clearly separated. We politely asked for an update four different times and were repeatedly told that we were "next," yet more orders continued to go out ahead of ours. We were eventually told that our pizza had been pushed back because cheese pizzas cook faster. That explanation made even less sense to us--if it cooks faster, it seems like it should have been easier to get it out in a timely manner rather than making us wait even longer. What made the experience even worse was that the manager yelled and used profanity while speaking to us. We had children with us, making the situation completely inappropriate and unprofessional. Delays happen, but poor communication, inconsistent explanations, and disrespectful treatment of customers are unacceptable. read more

Driving into Moab and craving good pizza. Canyon was right off the main road and had pretty good reviews. Those reviews were right on! Pretty large parking lot and we easily got a spot on a Wednesday night around 6:30pm. Pretty large crowd inside, but mist were waiting on to go orders. We also got a personal size canadian bacon & pineapple pizza and large jalapeno poppers pizza - both were outstanding. The crust is amazing and really delicious. The jalapeño poppers pizza has a cream cheese base and peppercinis, jalapenos, bacon, etc and great flavor, but not too hot. I was unimpressed with the pizza dough and the sauce. And the toppings were sparse. The The crust was way too thin and spongy. The sauce did not have any appreciable taste to it. I will say I thought the salad was a decent value considering that it wasn't a bag salad and it had plenty of tomatoes mozzarella cheese and croutons. The bill with tip came out to $28 for a 12-in pizza and a small salad. If you are in Moab and want to try a pizza Do not let the pictures of the pizzas from this restaurant fool you.
