Our first night in Moab couldn't have started much better! Our server, Onur, was incredibly attentive and genuinely kind throughout the meal. We arrived around 6:00 p.m., and not long after we were seated the restaurant really started filling up, so getting there a little earlier was perfect. We started with the small Greek salad, which was fresh and a great way to begin the meal. My partner ordered the flat iron steak with a baked potato, grilled zucchini, and a roll. The steak was unbelievably tender...you could cut it with a butter knife. I ordered the Zac Mac & Cheese, and it was delicious. It was loaded with fresh, crunchy bacon and fresh jalapeños throughout, giving it just the right amount of flavor and a little kick. It also came with a warm roll. Between the excellent food, friendly service, and welcoming atmosphere, Zax made for a fantastic first dinner in Moab. We'd definitely come back. read more

Fun place to eat with great outdoor seating right on Main St. Service is good, menu is large and prices are normal for the area. Food was good both times we went. But the "crunchy" chicken sandwich i got the second time was not even close to crunchy. read more

AMAZINGLY GOOD!!! We came in hungry from being out exploring all day! So we ordered more food than we could take down! My favorite was their Zak Burger! If you're looking for amazing appetizers you have to try their pickle fries and wings! AMAZING! I'm a pickle gal and this new version of fried pickles was everything!!:D our server was attentive and came over often! They have an upstairs with misters and TVS for sports - and the downstairs bar area seemed chill too! The hot honey pineapple pizza was delicious! The crust had the honey glazed on it! So yummy! If you are wondering what to order, there are a bunch of burgers on the menu. We watched a lot of meals be delivered to tables and all the food looked great! It is a large restaurant on one side a bar and on the other lots of tables for all sized groups. The bacon burger is what you want to order as it is large and tasty! My table mate loved it with the fries! The beer cheese soup is made in house and I had high expectations. But I would only rate it a 2 out of 5. Pizza was a great deal as it was the daily special for only 12$ with one topping and comes with honey. Pretty neat as I had never heard of dipping the thick crust in honey but it was delicious. The place is pretty cool vibe and you can tell they have a lot of regulars! Our waitress spent a ton of time talking to people that have turned into friends that frequently visit and sadly ignored our table most of the evening. It felt like all we did was wait. Drinks were served, then we waited 20 minutes for the waitress to return to take our order. Our food delivered to the table super fast which was unexpected. Then we enjoyed our meal and waited another 20+ minutes for the check. It was ridiculously slow and the restaurant was not crowded. So if you have a lot of time and don't mind chilling for over an hour and a half for a meal, this is the spot! read more

Subpar everything... its a tourist trap (to me). The kids didn't like their kids' meal, my smashburger was mostly buttered toast. The wings were covered in Franks-red-hot sauce, and though spicey, not very flavorful past the sauce - skin and meat had little flavor. We stopped in for dinner after spending the day at Arches National Park. Fair warning: we had a looong wait before we got a table. It was a holiday weekend, and a Sunday night, AND the place was solid, so I can't really complain necessarily. But if you're starving and need a quick bite, I'd look into getting a reservation if you can or find a place a bit more off the beaten path. However, once we were in it was great! Plenty of TVs on the walls all around to watch sports, your typical sports bar menu, which is great if that's what you're looking for. The servers were very friendly and pretty attentive given how busy it was. Our pizza came out reasonably quick as well, and tasted great. This is a good, family-friendly restaurant in the heart of downtown Moab. It's a big, spacious establishment with a bar area, a patio area, and 2nd level dining area facing the roadside. We came here for dinner. The restaurant was busy but we were able to get a booth table soon. We ordered one 14" pizza with half Spicy Chicken Alfredo and half Sam's Italian Stallion, Garlic Knots, a Clam Chowder, a Fettuccine Alfredo, and a Kiitos Blackberry Sour beer. The beer came first and then the food arrived shortly. The pizza was good. The Italian Stallion was better than the Spicy Chicken Alfredo. The crust was nice. The blackberry sour was very refreshing, the clam chowder was decent, the garlic knots were tasty and the Fettuccine Alfredo was decent as well. The restaurant menu is good, they sell merchandise, their bar is nice and had a good atmosphere. We received good, friendly service. We had a good experience. Check them out. read more

I wanted to go because it was close to my hotel and looked like it could be fun but the server took forever to check on us and the food was not great. My burger was dry, I was really looking forward to a good juicy burger but I was disappointed. Not bad but I do think underwhelming is a good descriptor. The patio was nice. read more

We ordered our drinks, wine ($8) & a big house Margarita ($10), while we looked over the menu. Mixed crowd of business types, motorcyclists, tourists, & locals. Indoor & outdoor dining areas. Free public parking only a three minute walk away. Lots of TVs tuned to sports in the bar area. Dinners were the special of the day Buffalo-style chicken salad ($17)-enough for two. Stopped in for a late lunch after a nice morning trip to Arches National Park. Decor was nice and the restaurant was clean and spacious. We were a group of 8 and they were able to seat us right away. Pizza is a definite must here and the other reviews raving about their pizza is true! Soooooo good. Unfortunately, I felt we were being rushed to finish and leave. Plates and platters were being taken while we were still finishing up. We don't take up long times at tables because we're a big group and are conscientious for the wait staff to cycle in more people to get more tips so I didn't think they needed to move us out like that. Overall, the food really saved the experience and is why I'm giving a 4 instead of 5. read more

We sat outside on the 2nd floor as the weather was great. View was beautiful. Server was nice. We all had pizza which was yummy. Our mixed drink was terrible as it tasted like there was no alcohol in it...only soda. I would recommend you only get beer or wine bc their mixed drinks are a rip-off. read more

Some pros and cons; Ambiance was great, it was nice to sit on the rooftop and feel a warm breeze. Food was alright. I got a pulled pork sandwich and the bottom bun was wet and extremely hot. The meatballs are the worst meal I have had in a while. The plate arrived cold to my table. The meatballs were under seasoned. The sauce of the pasta was more of like a tomato paste from a can. My husband remembers this restaurant from 12 years ago. I have no idea why. He has no taste so I should have know not to expect much. Haha He remembered eating on the balcony upstairs. There's so much traffic going by it was a bit hard to talk. I ordered the Greek salad. It was like they poured oil in the dish and put the salad on top. The top lettuce pieces were dry. There was no lemon flavor in the dressing. Did they forget? My husband had the fish and chips. He said he liked it. He decided to order ice cream for dessert. He ordered a sundae. This gets a 5 star review from me purely for their customer service. We travelled here when our team was in the NIT championship game. Normally not a big deal but our team has been terrible for a super long time and so it was a really big deal for us. We called ahead to see if they had TVs that would be playing it and if we could have any sound. They said yes! Once we got there, they put it on a main tv and turned up the volume loud enough for us to hear. We are soo thankful for them!! As far as food goes, everything was good. We got the spinach and artichoke as an appetizer. It came with either pita chips or tortilla chips so we got half and half. Get the pita chips fried! For entrees, we got the Zax burger and the sweet n' spicy crunchy chicken sandwich. We really really liked the Zax burger and would get it again. However, I didn't love the chicken sandwhich. We were walking by and looked at menu. My husband wanted pizza and I'm Gluten Free because of a severe wheat allergy and autoimmune disease. They had GF Caulflower crust so we chose to eat here. The hostess sat us in the back corner that was very loud with large groups watching the soccer game. We asked to sit somewhere quieter. That was our first mistake because She begrudgingly moved us to a quieter table. We ordered a GF pizza. Someone from the kitchen delivered it to our table and said GF pizza. It turned out it was not GF and I had eaten a piece. I am allergic to wheat! We asked another server who checked and confirmed the mistake. Our server then brought out our actual pizza. No apology. Seemed to think it was no big deal. Nothing was discounted from our bill for this. Food and service are mediocre at best. Would not recommend and won't return. Since we were just visiting Moab that won't be hard to do. Staff should be better trained for this. It could be potentially life threatening. read more
