We really love the pizza here and have been multiple times on one trip to Moab before. It's always the kids first choice when we get into town! Their marinara sauce is my favorite and they use really good quality cheese. Surprisingly, my favorite item here has become the antipasto salad. Super yummy and gives me a break from carb overload. Both sides of our pizza was very tasty. The Volcano has a nice kick to it and the Q-Bird a tasty tang. We added red onion all over and that was the perfect extra touch. The best thing I can say is they added lots of fresh basil but the pie was not cut through and had to tear the pieces apart. This place was close to our hotel and had good reviews so we gave them a try. They had some awesome pizza choices and even offered us the option to do half and half so we could try two! Asked a local for the best pizza joint in town. They said Canyon Pizza. If this is the beat pizza in town, then I feel sorry for the City of Moab. When I asked my wife how she liked it, she said she has had worse. Now, that is a glowing recommendation if I have ever heard one. The staff was not very friendly and the floor was dirty. Lastly, what is up with this wall art. Everything on line I saw showed negatively towards the Police. When I asked the staff, they just shrugged their shoulders. This pizza place is so cute! Went here over Memorial Day weekend. Service was quick. I loved that they had 3 sizes of salads to order from. I ordered the side Garden salad. It was delicious! Packed with veggies. I highly recommend this salad. Veggies were so fresh too. Mushrooms, bell peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, olives & mozzarella cheese!! Definitely the best simple salad I've had in a long time. We also ordered a cheese pizza to share. The cheese was a little overdone for my liking but it didn't taste burned. It was decent. Pricing seemed very reasonable too. Everything was really clean & staff was friendly. It's very hard to travel when allergic to wheat, soy, tomatoes, and onions. But Canyon Pizza had a good variety of pizzas that didn't have traditional pizza sauce, and they offered a gluten-free crust, so I gave them a try. The spinach artichoke pizza was really good. I asked for it without onions, and they accommodated. The artichokes lacked in seasoning and where in huge chunks - an easy fix with red pepper flakes and small bites though. I have two complaints, which led to the 4 star review. First, I ordered online and never received my email confirmation. The order tracker also never worked. I couldn't tell that my order was received until I got there. Second, they charge an additional $10 for gluten-free crust. I'm used to paying more for gluten-free, but that was a lot. Pretty great experience in all, and I would recommend it to others. read more

I was in Moab as part of a cross country drive moving my dad. We also had a new puppy with us so eating in restaurants was a no go. On this stop Canyon Pizza came up as an option. We ordered 3 personal pizzas and a Mediterranean salad. Each pizza was perfection and the med salad was delish. We took our order from the restaurant back through town to the Hilton property and ate in their lounge. Every bit was devoured and everyone enjoyed their share of the pizzas and salad. I would highly recommend as not only was the food yummy, but the service was patient and helpful as we had no idea what we wanted. Holy smokes! Who would have thought a random small town pizza would be one of the best I've ever had. After ordering a volcano pizza for take out, my wife had 2 slices and had to pull a u-turn and buy her own. She had the jalapeño popper, and our daughter had the garden. All were absolutely amazing. Every one of them had the freshest ingredients, and the crust is the cherry on top. After each of us devouring our own personal size pies, we didn't feel heavy, like most pizzas leave you.
