I ordered a hat for my son for Christmas during their Black Friday sale on 11/29/24. During the course of the last several weeks I have reached out multiple times to inquire as to the status of my order with absolutely no response. I finally got ahold of someone by phone today and they informed me that they oversold the hat I ordered and were unable to fulfill my order. WHAT?! He was a different employee from my first transaction, the first one failed to mention a second hat would have been 30% off! I should have read the reviews now I know. I ordered a angels hat from the Santa Ana store online . I ordered seven and five eights and the hat says on the tag 7 and 5/8 The hat was defective. I couldn't get it on. It was more like size 7 I called the store. They sent me a return shipping label. I requested a refund if the hat is unavailable sold out . Then, about a week later, I received an email that they've been trying to get a hold of me which is not true and the hat has a hair on the edge so that means you don't pass the inspection and no refund we're sending the hat back to sender. How else was I supposed to find out it is several sizes smaller without trying it on? You cap city guys are liars !! Cap city is only interested in profits you know good and well that somebody screwed up in making that hat size too small so you would rather have the customer take the loss. It's dirty business.! Walked into a store wanting to buy at least four hats for my family, and myself. We walked in, looked around, waited for a while. And the two associates that were behind the counter didn't even acknowledge us. One has long blue hair, and the other was wearing a backwards hat, working on and embroidering a hat. My wife and kids got me two hats for about 40 bucks each for Father's Day. Unfortunately they were the wrong size hats. Came in 3 days after the purchase with my receipt and tried exchanging it for a bigger size. Upon showing the first employee he immediately said he needed approval from his boss. Honestly I never write reviews but I came in to return a hat that the logo was crooked and if I'm paying 40+ for a hat it should be pretty well made. Anyways I tried just exchanging it for one that was not crooked but since the one I brought in, I had removed the stickers, I was unable to. Even though I never wore the hat. I purchased a $75 hat from this place. Being the hats here are well designed. I placed the order on June 11th. Did not receive a email confirmation or text confirmation that my order was fulfilled. I gave this place the benefit of the doubt and waited. Being I waited 2 weeks, I sent them an email. They stated to me that the hat was sent over and it arrived on June 16. This place gave me no confirmation that the order went through and now I am missing my hat due to misdelivery. If I would of had the tracking information sent to my email or number I would have known when to expect the hat. Unfortunately, I am out a hat and money. For future reference you should really be more organized to your customers and provide shipping details and confirmation that the order is fulfilled. read more

Saturday drops start at 11AM but the mall and store opens at 10. Reseller line up starting at 7:30 by putting a folding chair by the mall entrance to hold their place located by the store on the 2nd floor bridge. The workers will try to back door hats to reseller so be aware. There's usually 2 Edgar kids who listen to a girl worker with braces on who to sell to. Hat sizes are limited and the bigger sizes have the least stock. The store opens at 10 but for new drops you'll have to wait an extra hour. The hats usually come out to $70+ when it's a new hat on a drop. You can leave the chair and walk away from the line. Rule they go by is that the chair saves your place in line. The store offers no returns and only exchanges no matter the product. They fake walk back to ask someone about returns but they just follow this policy. Everything they do is pretty unprofessional so don't expect it. Buyer beware this is not a customer first type of place read more

This place is such a scam and way overpriced. I bought a hat yesterday 12/16/21 and when I got home my husband didn't like it. I came to the store today 12/17/21 with the hat, receipt, and original tags to exchange only. The hat I originally bought was $64.99 the new hat I got was $44.99. They said they don't offer store credit anymore and I would take a loss on the almost $20, or I could look around and find something else but I didn't see anything else in my husbands size. I ended up getting another hat which I'm not sure he will even like but didn't want to loose my $20. I had to end up paying $20 more out of pocket because the hat price went over what they owed me. Upon being rung up the sales person told me the two new hats I buy are final sale since your only allowed to exchange one time and they keep your original receipt and also don't provide a new current receipt for the purchase being made. This isn't stated anywhere about only exchanging an item ONE TIME, anything after that is final sale. Seems like they are just making up the return/exchange policy as they go.
