Jetty at the end of the path.

This weekend while on Cape we decided to take a walk at the canal and parked at the visitor center. The visitors center itself was closeed, but it was nice to park in their lot and walk down to the beach and jetty at the end of the canal. The other great thing about the visitor center was that even though the center itself was closed, the bathrooms were open. The facilities themselves were clean and it was nice to be able to use them before hitting the road again. Overall, we are happy that we chose this as the spot to start our walk and will definitely come again.

My boys love going here! Such a fun stop on the way into the Cape! Of course after we eat at Seafood Sam's!

One of the best visitor centers we've been to. Very informative on the building of canal. Great learning area for children too.

After you check it out, there's a great beach close by with stone breakwater you can walk out on, and Seafood Sams is across the street for some tasty food.

When I called the desk about it the employee cut me off to tell me I couldn't use the bathtub after 11pm (it was 9:45pm). And that stipulation was not apparent when we booked the room. I was too grossed out to use the tub at all the rest of the week, so that was a waste of money. The bathroom was overall not very clean or well-maintained. Shower had mold and needed to be re-grouted and small things like the towel holder were broken. The restaurant is super limited, only serving breakfast on weekends with like 4 things on the menu. And the food was below average. Most of the staff were very nice and the hotel has a charming aesthetic, but the standards absolutely do not match the price. I would've brought my qualms up to them instead of writing this review, but they did not bother to ask me how my stay was when I checked out. And this is more of a personal gripe, but we let them know it was our wedding week and they didn't do anything special. Usually a place in this price range gives you a little perk, like a mini bottle of champagne or a kind note waiting for you. Nothing from this place. Honestly just sad because this was a splurge we were excited about, but we should've just stayed at a more basic hotel.

Our plane was 4 hours late arriving after midnight on Sunday. David was right there in one of their wonderful cars . He was phenomenal and delivered us to the Cape at 2:30a.m. and was charming. He carried our bags inside for us, and he still had an hour+ ride to his home. I need to mention that we are elderly and should not have worried that someone would be there. They were there and with chocolates!!

Dean (the owner) reached out to me personally to go over any questions or concerns that I had. He even shared his phone number in case something else came up. He was always responsive, professional, and very kind. My daughter's driver, Todd, went above and beyond. He reached out in advance with his phone number, willing to answer any questions I might have. He kept me updated on her flight. He not only got her to campus safely, but waited while she got checked in, took her bags to her dorm, and sent us a pic of her in her new space. It was so much more than we could have hoped for. My daughter was delighted with the surprise of chocolates and water in the car and she loved chatting with Todd. He is an absolute gem. I wish I could give this company more than 5 stars. Truly. If you need a ride and you're around the Providence/Boston area-don't hesitate to give them a call. You won't be disappointed!
