Me and my family always come every year on a trip here and I always have to make my way to The Creamery because of how good it is. It's always very busy at night but it's always worth the wait. The ice cream is so good and they give you very good portions of it. This is the 11th year I've came and we took a few breaks from the cape but we had to come back because it's our favorite place. I've been coming here since I was little and I have family who lives here so I'm always attracted back somehow. I would recommend the Sandy-Neck Snickers in a waffle cone to anyone who loves snickers. It was so good! The Adirondack chairs in yellow and blue are so iconic and the workers are so friendly here it just gives off a very nice, family friendly vibe. read more

Driving around the town of South Yarmouth I found this cool ice cream shop. The outdoor seating called my attention with a lots of Adirondack chairs with bright colors. Who wants wonderful Cape Cod ice cream, and/or even more?! This is the place to make the stop, and won't regret it. I've personally never heard of it, until I was mentioned about it. The options speaks for itself, a lot of variety and topings to choose from, which you can go basic or go with their customized offerings. There's something here for everyone, and it's okay to take your time. The layout is very nice, with the inside being fairly small, but enough to fit to order and eat outside. I have always enjoyed coming to Cape Cod Creamery, and the ice cream is consistently good. However, my visit today was disappointing. While we were there, we overheard a mother confronting one of the teenage employees about a comment he had made to her daughter. We did not hear the original comment, but it was clear from the conversation that something inappropriate had been said. The mother seemed genuinely upset, and the situation became uncomfortable for everyone in the store. Whether intentional or not, employees should be respectful and professional when interacting with customers. Hearing a parent feel the need to defend her child in front of other customers was concerning. I hope management looks into what happened and addresses it appropriately. We have always had positive experiences here, but this incident left a bad impression on our family. read more

The most memorable ice cream so far on Cape Cod. Very nice outdoor area with colorful seating. The service was fast and the line was moving very quick. I opted for a small scoop and a waffle cone and first I thought it was a mistake because the portion was huge. However, the girl behind the counter, assure me that's the normal size for a small scoop. I opted for Truro turtle and that was the best decision ever. Long lines in the summer but that is to be expected. Many fabulous flavors of hard ice cream and I personally loved the soft coffee ice cream! The shop is very neat and clean and no melted ice cream all around the counters! My only complaint is we went over one time to get sundaes. It was not well made. A hot fudge sundae should have hot fudge. There was barely any. Since we got them to go we didn't notice till we got home! Maybe check your sundae before you leave! Had to try the place that came world renowned in Cape Cod ice cream! It did not disappoint. Realllllly long line around 8pm on a weeknight in Aug but it moved fairly quickly within 15 or so minutes. I can't visit a new city without trying a local ice cream shop...so we snuck a visit to Cape Cod Creamery in on our way out of Cape Cod. We arrived basically right when they opened (noon is a very reasonable ice cream time, in my book!). The creamery is in a mini shopping area, so parking was ample. Not surprisingly, there was no line, which was nice, and the workers were patient with us taking in our time in deciding what we wanted. The creamery offers a plentiful variety flavors, it was really hard to choose! I was bummed that I could not split scoops in a single cup, which made my decision even harder to narrow it down to just one flavor. I ultimately landed on the pumpkin pie since it was mid-October and I wanted to bring in the season. It was tasty - nice and creamy and not an overwhelming amount of spice nor pumpkin. A well balanced scoop! My husband opted for the cheesecake, which he also enjoyed. At a little over $5 for a single scoop, and given the lack of splitting scoops, I thought the price was a bit steep - although, Cape Cod prices are a bit elevated to begin with. I will say that a single scoop was generous, though - I am glad I settled on that and not a double so I could try more flavors. The vibe in the shop was cute and quaint (very on theme for the Cape), and I'm sure with more people in the peak season, it has an even better ambience. Overall, I enjoyed my scoop at Cape Cod Creamery and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a variety of flavors on the Cape - just be prepared to have a decision made and to pay slightly more than perhaps one would expect. read more

I am addressing product only. I ordered a waffle cone with a scoop of black raspberry ice cream. The ice cream was just so-so and the waffle cone was so hard and thick that I think I cracked a tooth on it. I was forced to throw it away after only a few bites. What a waste of money. read more

While on vacation on the Cape, we stayed in a hotel a few doors down from the Cape Cod Creamery. We got a new puppy, and had to be "those people" on vacation, and this spot was on the walk path. Do you have any idea how annoying and awful it is to have to travel with a new puppy? And to have to interrupt your vacation to walk said puppy again and again? This place made up for it. The ice cream is delicious. I loved their mint chocolate chip. The lines are often long, but the wait is well worth it, and it's a nice, relaxing spot to grab a scoop or twenty.
