    Pistachio Ice cream

Classic ice cream spot where you go after dinner. Visited Cape Cod for the summer and saw how long the lines were and had to try it. The line moves very quickly and the workers are so kinda and attentive. I got a small scoop of the pistachio ice cream and it was delicious!

Delicious ice cream!!! I had a scoop of almond joy and my husband had blueberry. He said the flavor was very subtle, but still delicious. Mine was great but very rich and melted very quickly. Expect a line, but this gives you time to figure out which flavor you'd like. There's a good amount of seating on the porch or down on the lawn to enjoy your ice cream.

Not my #1 spot in the cape for ice cream but a close runner up. You really can't go wrong with homemade creamy ice cream. A true staple in this area! So many flavor combos it's hard to choose so multiple visits are a must. You can never have too much ice cream in your life. Staff is tentative and friendly and ready to scoop or serve you. Lots of seating outside or inside!

    Yum! Coffee ice cream!

My daughter and I went here on a weekday and had a great mommy/daughter night. The ice cream was delish and while the line was long, it moved fast.

Had to try the place that came world renowned in Cape Cod ice cream! It did not disappoint. Realllllly long line around 8pm on a weeknight in Aug but it moved fairly quickly within 15 or so minutes. Lots of outdoor seating options. The ice cream was so creamy but almost fluffy like a whipped butter texture almost. Decadent and filling. The strawberry flavor was especially delicious! This was our favorite homeemade ice cream treat on the Cape.

I can't visit a new city without trying a local ice cream shop...so we snuck a visit to Cape Cod Creamery in on our way out of Cape Cod. We arrived basically right when they opened (noon is a very reasonable ice cream time, in my book!). The creamery is in a mini shopping area, so parking was ample. Not surprisingly, there was no line, which was nice, and the workers were patient with us taking in our time in deciding what we wanted. The creamery offers a plentiful variety flavors, it was really hard to choose! I was bummed that I could not split scoops in a single cup, which made my decision even harder to narrow it down to just one flavor. I ultimately landed on the pumpkin pie since it was mid-October and I wanted to bring in the season. It was tasty - nice and creamy and not an overwhelming amount of spice nor pumpkin. A well balanced scoop! My husband opted for the cheesecake, which he also enjoyed. At a little over $5 for a single scoop, and given the lack of splitting scoops, I thought the price was a bit steep - although, Cape Cod prices are a bit elevated to begin with. I will say that a single scoop was generous, though - I am glad I settled on that and not a double so I could try more flavors. The vibe in the shop was cute and quaint (very on theme for the Cape), and I'm sure with more people in the peak season, it has an even better ambience. Overall, I enjoyed my scoop at Cape Cod Creamery and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a variety of flavors on the Cape - just be prepared to have a decision made and to pay slightly more than perhaps one would expect.

I wish I could leave 1/2 stars because my real rating is 4.5 stars. My only complaint was that my waffle cone was stale which was a disappointment because they smelled so good (I'd be willing to try one again if I new they were fresh) and the girl scooping my ice cream really wouldn't give me any flavor recommendations (what's the most popular, what's her favorite, etc) she just kept listing the flavors. Overall I loved this place. I consider myself an ice cream snob and know it all and this place fulfilled all my ice cream wants and needs. There was a great selection of flavors, beautifully displayed. The ice cream was rich and creamy and full of flavor. Our total order included 3 scoops of ice cream, a topping and a waffle cone. It came to over $16 with tax which seemed kinda expensive to me but it is the cape. Additionally the portions are huge. I got two scoops because I wanted to try two flavors but it was way more ice cream than I needed. I would recommend getting one scoop or sharing. I had a lot of ice cream on our vacation and this was the best creamery we visited by a long shot. Plenty of seating outside!

Best ice cream on Cape Cod! The inside is all Cape Cod themed, the flavors are cleverly named after Cape Towns, and the decor is perfect to match the Cape Cod vibe. There is nice outside seating for when it's nice out. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I love coming here in the summer time. It can get busy but it's totally worth it.

Best peppermint ice cream of my life. Some of the flavors a bit complex for me. We enjoyed our free sample at holiday stroll

Despite the plentiful options for ice cream, the lines in the evenings are often very long. But, we had no wait grabbing our post-bike ride mid-afternoon snack, and the super friendly workers seemed eager to satisfy us. CCC has lots of appealing flavors, and I opted for the Monomoy Mud Pie and Allen Harbor Almond Joy. It was an unusual pairing, and I preferred the Mud Pie. Really great coffee ice cream, with fudge and graham crackers mixed in. The Almond Joy was very good too, but for me, the almond pieces detracted from the great creaminess of the ice cream even though the flavor and chocolate covered almonds were awesome. If I were spending more time on the Cape, I'd gladly taste test my way through their entire menu!

Get your ice cream mid-day instead of after dinner and you *may* avoid the hour plus lines many of the ice cream places on the Cape have every night. We went to Cape Cod Creamery after earning the treat by riding many miles on the CC Rail Trail that morning. We had one party in front of us and waited only a moment or two. The staff were young and friendly. I asked our scooper what her favorite flavor is and she said, "black raspberry and usually everyone who tries it orders it. Do you want a sample?" I, in fact, did! I love a place that lets you try before you buy. While I often gravitate towards chocolate flavors, I decided to try it along with a scoop of blueberry. I got my chocolate fix by ordering my cup with chocolate sprinkles. While the flavors were kind of similar in color and taste, I enjoyed the black raspberry more. Mine was a healthy two scoops for about $7.50. It felt expensive but ice cream out, and on Cape Cod, always is. We enjoyed our ice cream outdoors because it was a beautiful day! There is plenty of indoor dining space for nighttime or weather days that are not as optimal. A shop with a clean bathroom is always an added bonus in my book.
