Been on my way down to the cape for almost 3 hours... (it's a long drive) and took a 20 minute detour because I was craving some dessert. When I searched on Yelp, found a surplus of ice cream joints but really I wanted a crème brûlée or something similar... (a pastry). I am Italian and I was eyeing the sfogliatella listed on the menu but it looks like that's a weekend only treat. I grabbed a cannoli (fresh filled and shells are not displayed because they fill them in the back) Also grabbed a yellow cream pastaciotti! I've never heard one but a quick google searched reveals it's a sort of hand pie. Also snagged a slice of pizza. Thick crust & room temp but after a long drive, I have no complaints!! I hate greasy pizza and this was not that. High quality ingredients and the bubbles in the dough revealed it was fresh. If you're looking for dominos... well this is not that. More akin to a beach pizza :) Will be back for the sfogliatella! Side note but I spent about $9.50 or so & was very impressed with the pricing! They took care of me quickly and it felt very fair! read more

Great Italian bakery in South Yarmouth across from Papa Gino's. Wonderful owners who are so nice. Shark cookie was fresh and delicious with a shark shape and blue sugar decoration. The blueberry muffin was chock full of blueberries and huge. Blueberry scone was equally delicious. Best Italian bakery on the cape, hands down. read more

The cannoli? Amazing! The blueberry pie? A big hit with my family. The butter cookies were a nice size but not the best Italian butter cookies I have had. The service was friendly and helpful. I would go back if I am nearby, specifically for the cannoli, but wouldn't make a special trip just to go there. read more

This bakery is awesome. Home made bread is fantastic, customer service was pleasant and family owned, and the pastries were awesome. You know it's fantastic when all the little old ladies are coming in and picking up loafs of bread. The Cannolis were filled on the spot and crunchy with amazing filling. The lobster tail pastries were great, raspberry pastries were done right with a nice dark tart raspberry filling, Italian cookies were great. It reminded me of one of my favorite bakeries in northern MA I benchmark most places against and it was great. The ricotta pie with some fresh fruit on the side was phenomenal. If you're looking for a great Italian bakery or bread look no further. 10/10. read more

Most of the pastry was delicious. The blueberry ones were a little dry. So many choices to choose from it was hard to decide what to get!

I love finding local bakeries and there's nothing like an Italian bakery. This place is very authentic and everything looked delicious. It was really hard to choose what to order so we asked the lady for recommendations. Based on her advice, we got the ricotta pie and lemon bar. We also got a blueberry scone and lobster tail. Everything was delicious and so fresh. The highlight was the lobster tail. I wanted the rum cake but figured to save that for another time. Can't wait to go back! read more

We went in here today for the first time, it was incredible. The fresh variety of Italian pastries, cookies, bread and pies was so overwhelming to choose. We got danish, lemon squares, whoopie pies, cannolis and a lobster tail. Also bought a fresh loaf of scali bread. Everything was delicious. The items were baked fresh, no grease or aftertaste, true authentic pastries. These are definitely comparable to Mike's pastries and the North End. Baked to perfection, and the prices are so cheap and reasonable. The family works there and everyone is so friendly, welcoming and attentive. We loved it, and will definitely be returning there often. I highly recommend this hidden gem full of delicious treats for all. We bought anise pizzelles, scali bread, rum cake, hermits, anise biscotti and a cannoli with pistachio nuts. Yes Sir! Everything was perfect! Wouldn't change a thing! Will be returning again and again! Highly recommend this bakery. (We didn't try the coffee or tea.) and the staff are really friendly and helpful. Our crew our PICKY about food and they could not stop eating the cannoli, lobster tails, ricotta pie and cookies. There wasn't a crumb left. Very surprised to discover an Italian bakery/pastry shop on the Cape. Bought a half pound of assorted cookies, from reginas to cantuccini. All good with my morning coffee, not quite New Haven/Italian cookie goodness, but right up there. I'd give 10 stars if I could! This bakery is amazing. We stopped here on the first day of our vacation to Cape Cod. Everything looked freshly baked and beautiful. But I've been to bakeries before where the items look pretty, but taste stale or bland. That's not the case at Scapicchio's. Everything we tried was buttery, flaky, rich goodness. I couldn't wait to come back and kept dreaming of the blueberry pockets (which taste like a slice of blueberry pie) We went back a few days later and tried more items, all of them unique and delicious. Heading into Yarmouth to be tourists and see the Pirate Museum, we stopped in because of the bakery sign. What a wonderful assortment of pastries, cookies and breads! I had a Neapolitan and took home almond biscottis. The coffee was excellent! LOVE. I felt like the food experience was equivalent to that I had in Italy. Seriously. Get the cannoli. I did mine half pistachio half chocolate chips and the vibe was right. Crisp shell, fresh ricotta filling. I'm making myself hungry. Make sure you get a mini ricotta cake (heavy but whoever made this deserves an award) and I was told that their pizza is amazing! Stopped by to check out bakery products...on front counter to right of cash register was an interesting item...it actually bore the name of the bakery! AVOID at all costs ($4.00)...inedible...can not even bite into it...hard as a rock! Scones are middle of the road. Haven't tried the lemon bars...hope they are tart. This is my second (but last) visit. I will say, their ricotta cannoli's are very good. read more
