    Another flight of wines

Had a wonderfully relaxing time at Willow Creek Winery while visiting in late May! The have many options for indoor and outdoor seating on their expansive and beautiful property. It was a nice late spring afternoon when we went so we opted for outside under their covered patio area. Our server was so knowledgeable, fun, and really made the experience that much better! He allowed us to unwind and enjoy the space and gave us lots of interesting information about the winery and its history. Including how they names their bottles which was a neat detail to take home to share (as we got a few bottles for souvenirs). We opted for tastings of their sangria (so cool they have a few options of these) and a flight of their other wines which were all great but our favorites were their summer sangria (with peach) and their sparkling white wine. We also got a few bites to eat as well. The food paired well with our wines and we left full, happy, and with wines to take home for all! Highly recommend Willow Creek if you are in the Cape May area. You will not be disappointed!!! Also they sell their farm fresh eggs so you can get those too!

After spending the day at the zoo with my kids, it was time for the parents to have a well-earned treat and Willow Creek was the perfect spot. To my surprise this is actually a place I enjoyed with kids! They had a kids' menu, gorgeous vineyard views, and live music that had me singing along without even thinking about it. My husband and I each ordered the deviled crab cake sandwich, and it was delicious meaty, full of flavor! We also got two sangria whips one guava pear and the other blueberry pomegranate. Both things I was very excited to order and it did not disappoint! We ended with a sweet wine flight that was smooth and easy to enjoy. I'd definitely love to come back here soon it was a great spot to unwind and still feel comfortable with kids around. P.S. The names of the bathrooms had me cracking up.

Nice place. Came here for my daughters engagement party. The winery is beautiful. I drove so i didn't get a chance to drink. But the food and service was good.

This winery is absolutely beautiful, with a peaceful atmosphere that makes it a perfect spot to relax with a glass of wine. They have a strong selection overall, but my favorite is the frozen swirl sangria, which is refreshing and honestly one of the best drinks I have had in a long time. Pairing it with one of their cheese platters is always a great choice. Even the French baguette with olive oil is delicious. I try to visit whenever I can because it feels like such a calming escape. One thing to keep in mind is that they host a lot of weddings and private events, so it is smart to check their Instagram before you go to confirm their hours. The staff here are also very friendly. On one visit, they were already closing up, but they still let me place a takeout order, which I really appreciated. Between the beautiful setting, the quality of the drinks, and the welcoming service, this winery is a place I always look forward to returning to.

Such a fun time here celebrating my sister's bachelorette party! Our waitress was truly incredible, so nice and attentive. She even helped maneuver another umbrella for us when it started to rain. I've been here a few times and the food never disappoints and they have multiple different wine flights to choose from. A great spot to celebrate a bachelorette or just do a girls day!

We opted to sit outside as it was a beautiful day, so I can't really speak to the interior. But there are quite a few tables outside directly next to the vineyard which created a great vibe. Katia's service was excellent, despite a customer service snafu with management. The food and wine offerings were good, but not great. NJ wines tend to lean very sweet, and this place was no exception. However, we did seek this place out because of their frozen sangria, but it just wasn't what we expected. We thought it would be like a frose, or frozen marg, but it was creamy like an ice cream float. Regardless, a good time was had by all, and again the excellent service really made up for what this place lacked.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful first experience at the winery. We (obviously) made the trip for the amazing looking whips we saw all of last summer on their social media. They did not disappoint! We had the mango whip with white sangria and the pomegranate whip with red sangria. They are about $17 each but well worth it on a warm sunny afternoon! We also got a wine flight. The wines were very easy to drink and definitely sweet but they note that in the description. The bubbly rose was very refreshing. Our server was pleasant and the ambiance is very cute and cozy. We can't wait to come back!

Love Willow Creek! The grounds are gorgeous, the wine is good and you really can't go wrong. My last visit was 10 years ago, so things have definitely changed. And by things I mean prices. A wine flight will run you $30 and a wine bottle is a minimum of $30, with most closer to $40-$50. Cheese plates are also around $30. It's an expensive day, ya'll! But for that price it's a really gorgeous winery. They have tables that overlook the vineyards, and the vibes are right. It's worth visiting for at least a glass.

This was a highlight of my time in Cape May spending a weekend with my daughter! Tom our server was simply the best . He was delightfully informative and attentive. Ask for him if you come to the winery. We had a sangria flight and the Wilde Cock flight with the bubbly, blackberry merlot and the blush. We opted for the Manchego cheese board , French baguette and the loaded fries. We bought a jug of the white sangria and the bubbly. They also sell their eggs from the many chickens they have on the farm and we bought a dozen each. Loved the food, the wine and sitting on the patio! You must experience this if you are in the area!!

The wine was good and the outdoor area was beautiful on a nice sunny fall day! Our check-in experience really detracted from the experience though. (Reservations highly recommended on weekends.) We were in the Cape May area nearby and decided to stop in for a flight. When we arrived, the patio was pretty busy but not entirely full. Several other groups arrived right behind us, so there was a line. The hostess seemed extremely frazzled and unorganized. We stood for about 5 to 10 minutes as several workers tried to figure out where they could seat us outside, despite being a party of two and there being several open tables. Then the hostess started completely ignoring us and asking for parties with a reservation, which would've been understandable had she communicated that to us at all. A simple apology or a "let me get take care of the reservations first, and then I'll be right with you" goes a long way. The other young (teenage-early 20s) workers also seemed almost afraid of the hostess, like they were trying to stay out of her way while also not helping at all. However, once we are finally sat 10 minutes later, our server was friendly, and we enjoyed our flights. Moral of the story: definitely make a reservation before you come.

Cute little vineyard with lots of dog-friendly outdoor seating. Since we visited in April, there weren't any actual grapes growing yet, but I'm sure the view overlooking the vines would be beautiful during the summer. Service was quick and friendly and both food and wine very good.

This place was beautiful with sangria and wine flights. Loved the willow whips, food was great too. They had live music that was also great.

My bf and I planned a trip to Cape May last year for our anniversary and one of the places on our list to try was Willow Creek Winery. We visited right around sunset which was beautiful! There is indoor and outdoor space so you can kick back, relax and enjoy your wine. There is a gift shop when you first walk in and seating. Outside there was more seating and a live band. Shortly after being seated, we were greeted by our waitress. We started off with a wine flight, a glass of sangria and a glass of their Dole whip sangria float which is seasonal so ask your server for the flavor of the day! At the time of visit, the flavor was passion fruit. The wine flight came out on a tree; I loved the presentation. We also ordered some small bites. For starters, the asiago bruschetta which was okay. The French baguette was extremely hard to bite into but after it sat with all the juices from the tomatoes, olive oil, herbs, etc. it softened up a bit. I thought it was quite tasty. For our entrees we ordered the smash burger and fish sandwich. The fries were crispy, we just didn't like our food which is okay. I think next time we'll just stick to wine and starters. Once we finished up, we browsed the gift shop and headed back to the Airbnb. I will be back next time I visit!

Cape May reminded us of a smaller version of Napa wineries. Natali had interesting wines. Kate at Natali was very helpful & knowledgeable. Kathy at Cape May Winery was excellent describing their wines, the wine making process and general questions about wine. But Willow Creek was unorganized, the server was not interactive with our group, very minimal explanation of the wines and was not very knowledgeable about general questions about wine. Very young vineyard and the wines tasted immature. Please offer other wineries as part of the tour package and eliminate Willow Creek.

Driving up the long tree‑lined driveway instantly set the tone: quiet, open, and serene. It was not clear on the website when making reservations that the menus posted were not for the igloos. Even items we asked about on the menus provided were not available (menu said available until 3 pm in igloo, it was 200 but still told no- yet we also couldn't get the steak or rockfish in the igloo. As well, previous igloo visit options provided fondue for 2 (not 5!) and could be altered for one meat and one seafood eater however this time we would've had to at $240 to get both. At minimum $120+$10-$12 extra to add one skewer. Although the ambiance is an "experience" it was not a satisfying culinary experience. As well, it was not clear we couldn't divide our checks up amongst each couple as most all restaurants can do. (Can only do 2 checks, we had 3 couples) It was more cumbersome on the waitress and us than just charging each couple one bill, we weren't sharing food or said put half this on each etc. it was clearly just 3 couples. As for what we did get... if crab dip hadn't had a shell in it I wouldn't have believed it had any crab in it, just cheese flavor. Steak skewer was well done (no choice given) yet veggies were aldente (to say the least). Wine was good but limited selection. I really don't understand why I can eat one think inside yet can't 20' away we would've had a much better experience if some accommodating had been offered on any of the above issues.
