Thuan (pronounced 2N) was my technician and this dip was as good (maybe better) as my long time summer tech up north. By far THE best dip manicure I've ever gotten! Melissa is SO sweet and did a phenomenal job. I'm about to go on week 4 of having this manicure and only 1 small chip and this is through lots of hand washing, sanitizer, washing dishes, cleaning, etc. I usually don't like dip because it's too thick, but Melissa does the perfect amount and makes sure it lasts long! Every employee at Cape Nails salon was extremely professional, courteous, and kind. Every customer left the salon so happy. Dao, however, has changed my apprehensive thoughts. Dao created my French dip powder manicure and French tip gel pedicure far better than my technicians at home. She's an artist and completed her work so quickly! I am extremely picky and am so pleased with her results. She was most gentle (no drill) and I recommend this salon to anyone in Sanibel. Very nice pedicure experience with excellent results. Great foot and leg massage included, with extra gentle consideration for my slightly sunburned legs. My mom and I came here for pedicures while on vacation. Our total was $75 for 2 pedicures. I have no problem paying this price when I feel the service was worth it. The employees were nice, I had no issues with them. The pedicure felt rushed, though. We were in and out in less than 30 minutes. This was a BARE MINIMUM pedicure, like the most basic thing I've ever had. A few scrubs on my feet and some lotion on my legs. Nothing that really should have been $38 per person. One of my toenails was filed extremely crooked, enough so that an ingrown toenail was guaranteed unless I fixed it. read more

Pedicures shouldn't be painful! My mom and I went today for pedicures - very average experience and the price was high. $36 for a pedicure with or without polish. The tech doing my mom's pedicure was very aggressive with digging around her great toe sides and cuticle area. We repeatedly asked her to stop. I asked my tech to ask her to stop. The toe is now red and tender. Hopefully it won't get infected. read more

This place was absolutely horrible!!! I would never go back and never recommend!!! We had made an appointment for 2:30 and when we got there we had to wait over 20 minutes for someone to help us. Both of us got French pedicures, neither were done well, one too thin and the other had wobbly lines which we could have done better ourselves. They didn't even scrape the dead skin off of our feet or take care of them like usual, just a basic massage and cuticle trim. I also go a manicure, they didn't even shape my nails evenly. Then the staff convinced me to get shellack instead of regular polish saying it was much better and would only cost a little more, she then proceeded to charge $20 more for the shellack. She put a design on my nails which was done so poorly I also could have done better myself. If that is all not bad enough the prices were absolutely ridiculous! The experience was pleasant, the prices decent, the actual nail painting meh. Nothing special, but not too bad. My 2-star review comes from the fact that, despite the fair cleanliness of the salon itself, none of the instruments were sterilized. There was a sterilizer in the corner but all the tools came out of and went back into the little cups next to the stations. I'm not particularly squeamish, and I don't expect a new package of personalized instruments every time, but using the same cuticle scissors or foot-scraper from one customer to the next is ick. On vacation, so took a chance, and loved it! I had Dao, and she was perfect! She was gentle and maticulous. I had a regular pedicure and special manicure with Nail Envy nail strengthening polish with color ... looks like a pink french manicure. Total for both services was $57 before tip.
