Our go to pizza shop retired. We have been on hunt to find a new one. Francos is our new favorite. We ordered a vetable pie. It was fantastic. The pizza and toppings were fresh. They were generous with the toppings. Good crust crisp and airy on the inside. I would have rated them a 5 if it wasn't for slice delivery. Their app was limited. The delivery driver didn't communicate that he had a few extra stops on the way. He showed up on a mini motorcycle holding our pie in his arm and steering with the other. He had our side order in a backpack hanging on the handle bars Bottom line is Francos is great can't wait to order some of their other dishes. Slice on the other hand is a definite no go. I ordered on Uber Eats from Franco's and it was incredible. It's their sopa de res y sopa de pata (beef and leg soup). The soup was full of flavor, and the beef was tender. It was delivered hot and fresh. read more

It breaks my heart to say this because I DoorDash from here all the time, but tonight my Mother participated in the Taste of Danbury using a voucher to purchase a meal and described it as inedible!! Worst part is it wasn't even what she ordered, she asked for an Italian Combo and got rubbery chicken parm! Is it because the meal was free, she was more than willing to tip accordingly! If not more. Delicious! Stopped in for lunch today, had the Chicken Parm grinder and LOVED it. Food was prepared quickly, very good portion size and the price is a bargain! I ended up picking up another Eggplant Part Grinder for my wife and a Large Pizza Pie for my family. If you're in the area, STOP ON BY! I found this recently on Yelp and the few reviews that were there were raving, so I decided to trust my fellow yelpers and give it a try. I ordered the Italian combo grinder and it was the best I've had in Connecticut. I used to live in Philly, and this is the first deli sandwich that compares to a Philly hoagie. More than just pizza. I went to Franco's based on a friends recommendation. When I got there I had to try the carnitas tacos. They were Excellent. A great value with fresh lime wedges on the side. I have come back and love the 9 inch pizzas. Franco is extremely friendly and takes pride in his food.
