The mechanic looked at it and didn't think this was the problem, he suggested to look at the sprocket bushings, a common failure item. Turned out it was the bushings ($6 part). Saved me the expense of the differential part ($160 part). Good to know that they are not looking to sell you expensive parts that are not the problem. Trust in repair service is rare these days.

Maybe what I'm assuming was the proprietor felt my judgment, that I wouldn't be purchasing after browsing so was dismissed with a "Get the f*** out of my store." It took me by surprise, I had to make eye contact to see if it was directed towards me or if maybe he was on the phone, but since it was just my sister and me and she was out of earshot, it was hard to give the benefit of the doubt once he made eye contact back. We still thanked him politely, and I immediately told my sister what happened after we left, she was shocked, but after seeing other reviews of other similar experiences, we know we're not alone. If you're willing to take a 50/50 chance on the mental wellness mood that day, just be ready to possibly have to "brush it off," I just hope he doesn't get in a physical altercation with someone who may not be able to do so. There is a huge selection of clothing, toys, bedding, etc. Not all are wealthy here, and fishing is n ot an easy or lucrative way of living or those who have jobs serving the tourist or otherwise marginal work. Most of the volunteers are devoted and caring, esp. to those who frequent regularly. I saw a rack of beautiful snow jackets for boys and girls that were donated brand new by a local bank. How foolish to base the above review on the behavior of just one volunteer. Missed the point completely.

We also saw a cool Radio Shack sign inside the store, right above the entrance for the area specializing in electronics and gadgets. This store has good customer service staff and a nice big parking lot (not very common in Provincetown).

I went to buy ceiling paint. They made several mistakes. Fisrt 5 gallon batch claimed to have been…read moremodified. It was not because when we went to buy more paint 1) they used the wrong base 2) third visit returned the wrong base paint - bought ceiling paint that they modified. Did not match the first paint as they had not modified it and labelled it incorrectly. Refused to take back paint when they said they would. Jacob the store manager has a bit of a complex. Left message for Jeff Rogers the owner. 1.5 weeks later he still has not returned phone call. Benjamin Moore regional rep is now involved in trying to resolve issue. ACE hardware in Eastham and Orleans are both very comptent and helpful. As consumers we do have a choice. Plan to use Eastham and Orleans stores. Go once and get all you need for the job correctly.
