This was our first visit, and it's easy to see why so many artists include it on their summer tour schedules. The surrounding Lake Winnipesaukee area is beautiful, and the venue itself is modern and well laid out. We were under the pavilion roof in reserved seating, but there's lawn seating available too if you're looking for a less expensive option. The sound quality was excellent, and despite the crowd, getting in, finding our seats, and enjoying the evening was all surprisingly easy. Concessions are what you'd expect at a concert venue--plenty of choices, but at concert prices. That's hardly unique these days. What stood out more was how well the Pavilion itself is laid out. It manages to feel intimate enough to connect with the performers while still being large enough to attract major touring acts. As someone with knee issues, I especially appreciated the golf-cart shuttles to and from the remote parking areas. If you're thinking about seeing a show here, I'd encourage it. Sarah McLachlan was amazing, but the venue deserves some of the credit for making it such an enjoyable evening. We'll definitely be back the next time one of our favorite artists comes through Gilford.

I've heard the food prices are reasonable, and if you want to enjoy some live music while waiting for your show, there's a smaller stage out there that usually hosts a band prior to the show.

They did indeed call me back and were so kind. I really appreciated it. If you go, be prepared to park in the municipal garage and walk to the venue. Give yourself some extra time to park and walk.
