I am extremely disappointed with the way my roadside assistance request was handled today…read more My truck would not start, so I contacted AAA for roadside assistance. AAA assigned Tow Express LLC in Shafter. I was initially given an estimated wait time of approximately 30 minutes, but after waiting, the time was changed by another 90 minutes. Because of this unreasonable delay, I had to cancel the request and create a new service ticket. During this entire situation, I tried calling Tow Express LLC multiple times, but they would not answer the phone. I then contacted AAA again for assistance and spoke with Diane. My experience with Diane was extremely frustrating and unacceptable. She told me that Tow Express had been trying to contact me. I explained to her that I had received no call from them and asked why she would simply believe their statement. She responded that she "knew" they had called me. After checking my account/status, she eventually acknowledged that I had in fact been waiting for approximately an hour and a half. However, she still dismissed my concern and told me that the wait would not count because the original request had been canceled. My complaint is not simply about the wait time. My concern is the poor service, the lack of communication, the conflicting information, and especially the way Diane handled my complaint. Instead of listening to me and trying to understand what happened, she immediately took the towing company's side and essentially accused me of being wrong before checking the facts. A customer who is stranded with a truck that will not start should not have to deal with this level of frustration. At the very least, I expected AAA to check the records, communicate honestly with me, and make sure I was okay and that I had a way to get the situation resolved.took them two hours and 30 mints to do it

We pulled off on the 5 fwy heading south , at the top of the hill of the grapevine. As soon as we got assigned we called Edmonds to be more specific as to our location. The dispatcher informs us that he has no one to send. He would call us back in an hr with an ETA. I am 2 hrs away from home, exhausted and this was the last thing I wanted to hear. I called AAA back wanting another company. The AAA dispatcher called Edmonds to get more information and AAA was told they would be there to help within the hour. Never happened. We kept getting texts postponing the arrival time. We called Edmonds multiple times and they wouldnt pick up. When the dispatcher finally picked up he was laughing and said, "I can really give you an explanation as to why I didnt pick up. What do you want me to do, I am trying to locate a driver." This was two hours after our intial call. I was flabbergasted by the response. Luckily after multiple calls back to AAA to get help from another company, a good Samaritan stopped to help us. The stress of being stranded and add lack of empathy from the dispatcher was unreal. I am just grateful it wasnt bad weather or a big emergency. I can only imagine what other people have had to deal with and their terrible service.

I called the AAA because my car battery died. They sent Roy's Towing. I had two years left on on my…read morebattery warranty. I was told if I pay with debit card or check there is no credit card fee. I used my debit to avoid the extra fee. After the battery was installed the service person says they don't give a written receipts they went paper less and would email me an invoice later. Well they charged me an installation fee of $30 and the invoice has a credit card fee and says payment was by VISA. After much aggravation they reversed the installation fee but wouldn't budge on the visa fee even though I used a debit. The MGR Jim didn't like that I called the auto club and told him they are required to give a receipt at the service call and would be contacting Roy's for this violation. I am not going to be using this company again and hope they start to comply with the Auto Club policies.

However, the column moved loosely, and the car would not go into gear. Upon my description over the phone, Lebec knew exactly what was wrong, and said he would be right there approx (30-45mins faster, and cheaper then tow). I had called some other mechanics who said they were too busy, didn't want to go, or told me they would help me in the morning. Lebec roadside managed to patch us up well enough to get us back to work on the road. We will see another mechanic for the needed part in the morning as He told us to. Then he tells me that his boss forgot to order the parts and further delays the process. The company's communication skills are complete garbage the tell me they will call me back atleast 5 times and no call back I have to constantly call everyday to make sure they do what they tell me they will do. I tried to get a refund yesterday and the boss put me on 3way with Sebastian to rectify the situation and confirms a 9am appointment that I had to take off work for and no call no show again. I called the boss at 11 no answer, so I reach out to Sebastian and he tells me that they had a no call no show with one of there mechanics with the FedEx account so he got pulled to fill in for that and left me hanging dry for the 7th time. I wouldn't trust these guys to change a tire let alone take on a project on my vehicle. Be cautious with this company. I will be taking my business elsewhere and I expect my money back today for the bs diagnostic your mechanic can't even name the type of hose hes replacing .. its embarrassing..
