I emailed yelp back asking for them to clarify their reporting process because they deleted my previous reviews for AAA and nobody got back to me, so I will continue to share what happened to me when Erin S. was involved at the Bakersfield branch. In 2023 after paying me out for the damages their party caused, they sent a report to LexisNexis and failed to identify who was at fault (clearly not me). I received a letter from my current insurance provider in 2026 stating i had a nonchargeable at fault accident because the report was incomplete. I called and worked with LexisNexis to dispute this and even they acted surprised an insurance company would make such a mistake to leave that information out on a report. This matters because the information on the report could have affected my eligibility and rates for car insurance from 2023 to 2026. It took over 30 days to get this disputed.  Businesses making careless mistakes to mess with people's finances should absolutely be called out.

The dispatcher said AAA does not cover commercial vehicles. I explained it is not a commercial vehicle. It is my personal daily driver. They then said the van had to be emptied to be towed. I was in Santa Clarita needed to get it to my car alarm installer as I thought the issue was with my aftermarket car alarm not my battery. They charged me $350 to go 25 miles. We called AAA and they said this is not the case. I have filed a complaint with AAA. Screw you, Castaic towing for the predatory practices. Obviously zero stars of available.

He explained the process clearly and made me feel comfortable asking questions. The day of the inspection, I texted them just a couple hours beforehand with an estimate of when I thought I'd be ready. Once I was ready, I gave them a call -- and within 10-15 minutes, they arrived, which honestly exceeded my expectations. The mechanics who came out, NK and Mikey, were fantastic. Both were friendly, professional, and clearly knowledgeable. They took their time inspecting the vehicle and explained what they were seeing in a way that was easy to understand. Most importantly, they were honest -- even when the findings weren't good news. After NK and Mikey left, the owner personally called me to apologize for the bad news and to recommend other vehicle options that would be better choices. If you're looking at buying a used car, I can't recommend getting a pre-purchase inspection enough -- and I highly recommend this team. They saved me thousands of dollars and a lot of stress.
