Well, I had seen Capital One Café advertised on TV but I didn't realize it was a real thing. Lol. So I had an appointment Uptown at European waxing center and when I came out this place is just practically next-door. They have a beautiful corner lot and they have places to sit outdoors there is banking inside, but it's also a coffee café with baristas. The pastries were very very good. Kind of a combination of Starbucks and corner bakery and love Madeleine so it was high-end. The beverages was delicious. They have a blueberry thing going on right now. Pretty solid capital one cafe - I usually go to the one in stonebriar mall but coming here was a nice change of pace. Same levels of cleanliness, professionalism and identical food and drinks. As usual I'm biased I will always enjoy at least one of the seasonal drinks. I got the matcha here too. read more

I came here and got a solid matcha latte. I was surprised to see how crowded it was in the middle of the day with plenty of peopling working from the space. As expected, I did get approached about capital one products while here but the staff were overall friendly. I came in with low expectations for this place given its corporate ties but thought it was decent. If you are in the capital one ecosystem, this is likely a great place for you to come to get your coffee/matcha. read more

The best one I have seen so far. So spacious and lots of seating area. Not to mention a big view! You can sit there and people watch The service is great. It's always welcoming and friendly. As a capital one cafe major goer in other cities, this is a nice less corporate cushy location. Everyone was very nice and the area was in a plaza with ample parking. The seating area is only one floor and smaller but has good lighting and outlets. I wanted the strawberry matcha but they had ran out for the day. I opted for the ice matcha with oatmilk and vanilla ($9). It was good - not the richest though. This location is brand new, but if they expanded on flavors and were more transparent with prices on menu they would def beat competitors in area. read more

Nice area with shops and restaurants, and taking a break at the cafe is a nice treat! There is garage parking right behind. They use a super automatic machine that tastes excellent and on par with a traditional machine that you would see at the stonebriar location, the menu is similar to Frisco, as are the specials. The place is decent; nice atmosphere and spacious enough to study. The staff were very nice too. Both the baristas and trees were pleasant to talk to. My complaint is with the drinks. The americano was incredibly light and watery. I couldn't finish it, which was a first. My brother had a latte and noted that it was very muted, as if it was low quality. The pasties were good. Definitely take advantage of their MLB Monday Free drinks while you can! I got the sparkling pink lemonade which is a seasonal item for the summer. It was a little more sparkling than lemonade so not my favorite lol but still good. I have a feeling the rest of the drinks are probably better. The pastries and sandwich options all looked great and it's a good deal if you have a capital one card. The cafe is super cute and looks great for studying and getting work done. FINALLY!!! we are on par with most major cities and have a place to manage money without the stress of a conventional bank. i've been to capital one cafés across the country and this is pleasantly one of the less stale/corporate ones. spacious and airy and the coffee is delicious, especially considering it comes from a machine! lots of outdoor seating and plugs everywhere. i came in on day 8 of business and both the baristas and ambassadors were beyond friendly and knowledgable. i love that ambassadors come to your table. can't wait to see what events and community impact this café will have in the future, especially with north dallas high so close by. hope to see another open downtown soon! read more

The coffee at the Capital One Café is really good, especially if you have a Capital One or Discover card -- the discounts make it a solid deal. The avocado toast was a bit pricey but really tasty (that's Uptown for you!). The service was friendly, and it's a nice spot overall, even if the vibe is a little on the cool, modern side. read more

New cafe in one of my favorite Dallas neighborhoods, west village. The space is modern with a mixture of table/chairs and sofas. There's some outdoor seating. I got one of the summer drinks, s'mores latte and it was delicious. read more

Prices were super high. Assume they purposely make it high since cardholders will get 50 percent off? Not sure, but iced drinks were ~ $7-8, a bit more expensive than most other cafes in the area. Another con is there is only one size for iced drinks. Parking is not great, but that's the whole west village area in general. Very limited Street parking, so you'll usually end up parking in the garage and then walking. Lavender honey latte was great. Nitro cold brew was really bad, I'm a huge fan of cold brews and have had them a lot, but this one was super bitter and sour. Service was great. read more

I visited capital one cafe numerous times when they first opened and always had a good experience. After trying a few drinks, I really settled on the cortado which has the magic ratio of espresso and milk. The service was always friendly and the line always moved fast too. read more

We loved it! Yes it's overpriced but I expected that in west village. I think if it was not pricey it would be extremely crowded with unpleasant wait times. The high prices keep it steady but not overly congested I feel. I liked the lay out and out lattes were awesome. The staff is super nice and we didn't have to wait too long. My past 2 experiences has not been that good. I wanted to give them another chance at a different loc. I never really had anyone greet me or explain to me at Frisco. I went out of my way all 3x to get the whole experience. Rare that I go out on Sat. Glad I did. Prince greeted me from the start and he greeted many who came in even while talking to him. I appreciate his service and definitely a good rep to the co. If I had someone such as him from the start when I went to the Frisco loc., it would be different probably. Don't think it would have changed the way the cashier was that I had to see on 2 separate visits. I like to say that Prince and the older gentleman were very helpful, nice and what you expect for the banking side or any service to a co. should be. The cafe is an extension of the bank and it makes a big difference how staff treats every customer. Thank you for the free coffee and taking time to talk to me about the set up and other things. From the talk, I see someone in upper mgt. is thinking of how to connect to clientele better. Much appreciated to be treated as people vs. another number in this digital, high tech world that's lacking in people skills. Even though this loc. is far for me and so is the other one, it was a good area to be in. Granted a bit more walking from garage to the front. But then to find it in a mall isn't any better. If you set up a loc. in Richardson around Campbell and 75 where the 2 hotels are with a lot of eateries, offices and traffic is, it would be nice. Not the same set up as W. Village or the mall. But it will attract clients from that area more. My experience has been nice calling the place a few times and then being there. Prince even brought the coffee over for me with lid and asked if I wanted a straw. Not the typical service you expect at any coffee shop or bank. I see him going far in life. Look forward to seeing him again. I had the pour over Daybreaker and let it cool down a bit before pouring over ice. Consistency of how coffee is made each time and the Verve brand is good. Think if Verve want to experiment at the cafes, they can offer a limited edition each month. Something to draw in more clients. Most coffee shops are stuck in what they offer. Rarely anything new in terms of coffee vs. all these mixed drinks which not everyone goes for. It gives the cafe an edge over competitors. I also feel the price for C1 clients give them an edge too. To offer a better brand of coffee vs. the other brands and a better price is a win win. There are a lot of ways the cafe can go about with their menu that focuses more on quality coffee vs. bunch of sugary drinks. Think if they offer other roasters a chance to come in for a month, it would be interesting. Keep Verve as the base. Give other brands a chance to see what clients think. Even if it's local roasters that makes each city unique in terms of coffee options. read more
