WHAT I ORDERED: Tres Leche Cold Brew, Strawberry Matcha Latte INSIDE: Still great service and a nice place to sit down to work/study/hang out. THE DRINKS: I usually don't like cold brews because they tend to taste sour but this was delicious. It had the perfect amount of sweetness and was flavorful. I found out that they offer the strawberry matcha latte (secret menu) through their Instagram and I'm sure glad I did. I work close to Herb's and am happy to have a nice coffee shop to visit. It is a great place to have meetings because there are many different seating arrangements (small to large tables, couches, etc) and the atmosphere is quiet. The coffee is tasty, and sometimes I wish they had more food options. They serve some tacos but the goodies are pretty limited. I've also been to events where their coffee car has been serving up drinks. It is always a welcome treat to see them pull up in their little coffee bus! read more

One of my favorite coffee places in the area. The staff is SUPER friendly and inviting. The coffee never disappoints and they have so many syrup options. Some of their syrups come from a supplier in Oregon made from all natural ingredients. They also have breakfast tacos from taco deli (until supplies last) and other breakfast options. This coffee space is very open and spacious... definitely inviting for guests to enjoy a nice cup of coffee and work, take meetings, etc. The staff was very friendly and offered me to sign up for their rewards program. I ended up ordering a hot white mocha, and it was great! It was just the right amount of sweet and the coffee tasted strong, which is exactly what I like. Came here to work for a day and I'll definitely be coming here more frequently! For starters, there's good coffee that's reasonably priced. I got a pistachio white mocha (recommend getting it with less sugar because it's pretty sweet by default) and my friend got a lavender latte. Both were less than $5 each!! There's a TON of seating, outlets along the walls and a mix of standing/sitting height tables. They even have 3 private study rooms with a big monitor and speaker that people can use and reserve. Just heads up, they play chill indie pop in the background but it was at a low enough volume that I could have meeting calls. read more

This is your typical coffee shop at a college. Huge location inside for study groups, but service is slow, slow, slow. For how many people are here, they are way understaffed. There was no line and yet I still waited 20 minutes for coffee, and it took 5 mins just to finish my order because the girl taking my order kept having to leave and deliver coffee to table. The barista even said that to me because he said he personally didn't like their matcha lol. I still got it because I didn't want coffee this day. The way he made the matcha was pretty unprofessional tho he literally just shook the milk and matcha together with the syrup in the cup he served it in . This was such a modern vibe for a coffee shop that I really enjoyed. Unfortunately their pour over wasn't available at the moment so I got an americano instead and that was pretty good. Website says the Dallas location is open 12-4 Sundays, just got here and it's closed. My husband has been before and really likes it.

I went to Herb's Coffee for the first time today and it was 90% college kids working and studying, so it was actually super quiet. I'd say the atmosphere is light, bright, and clean, with a definite focus on the working or studying customer. I wouldn't come here to socialize with friends or I'd probably feel awkward. The tables were relatively large and I saw quite a few available wall outlets too! However, I took off one star because the coffee is super overpriced for the quality... even for the Dallas market. A 12oz latte or cappuccino is $4.25. It's Cultivar coffee so excellent quality, but the preparation was lacking unfortunately. I think you pay more for the coffee because you get more space at Herb's to work. That's my interpretation at least. I WFH full time so I frequent coffee shops in Dallas for a change of scenery. Herb's probably isn't one of my top 5, but is a great spot that I'll come back to if I need to focus on quiet work. read more

Great study spot! Plenty of seating with lots of room and outlets. Lots of people working as well. My only complaint was that the music was a bit loud and only country music for the first 3 hours that I was there - then I think maybe there was a shift change as the music changed to more classic coffee shop music and not quite as loud. I put in my own headphones until the music change and was fine. It was a very productive day of studying with a delicious matcha latte! Several food options including avocado toast as well, and lots of snacks like smart food popcorn and muffins. Overall, great spot. read more

Beautiful decor, airy and with an abundance of shiplap and white interior walls. The hot lattes were amazing and their pastries fresh and tasty. Near SMU Campus so you do have a lot of students that come here. It's quiet and they also have a patio that is cozy and pleasant. It's located right in the center of the service Central Expressway and Greenville. Would definitely be back when we visit Texas! read more

The coffee was good and it has an atmosphere that is very functional for those wanting to get work done. The baristas were quick with the drinks. The only downside to this location is that because people are often there for a bit working, parking can be few and far between, so one might have to street park. read more
