Nice ambiance, I wish I'd been greeted and told how the flow of the space goes. I had a seat, set up my laptop and waited about 15 minutes to be greeted and then decided to go to the bar where I was able to order a drink. When I asked the man who bought me my cocktail for some water, he told me there was a self service station which was... interesting. They were really attentive when reminding us to put away our devices before the cut off time and I'm glad I stayed a while after that. The performances were nice! I'd come back now that I know how it is. They could use a host or just more welcoming baristas/bartenders who can multitask.

Amazing cold brew with house made syrups and sauces. The ambiance is calm and cool and there's tons of photo opportunities if you're a creative

My new favorite coffee shop. I visited for the first time during a coworking session last week and stayed for hours. It's cozy, spacious, offers tons of seating both indoors and out, has kind customer service (shoutout to Robert!), and is in prime location in the Design District. Parking is ample as well. What I got: A lavender oat milk iced matcha (try it) + their breakfast burrito. I was HUNGRY and this burrito did its job . It's stuffed with eggs, bacon, sausage, and cheese. It was absolutely delicious and I'm craving it days later. Looking to take a work call and be respectful of the patrons? There's plenty of seating out on their patio which offers a sort of breezeway of fresh air. It's great. Robert and the other staff member who was running the food were both so kind. I'll be back again and again. They also offer a live band in the evenings which I'd love to visit for.

Very friendly staff! Food was so delicious! The peanut butter protein expresso was so good! Unique atmosphere. Relaxing. Started out my morning perfectly here!

DRINKS Lavender white mocha - I really liked the lavender white mocha. It had a subtle lavender flavor that was not too overpowering. The coffee also taste really good. Perfect amount of ice to drink ratio! Strawberry Matcha - in my opinion, the strawberry Matcha was just OK. The strawberry was very overpowering, which made the drink super sweet, so personally not one of my favorites. The matcha was also pretty watered down and you cannot taste the Matcha that much. VIBES The vibes are a really nice industrial vibe with in 1950s feel. It's nice that there is seating both inside and outside. A lot more of the family with younger kids sit outside but inside people are working and studying. They also have couches tables high table, seating, and more! SERVICE Service was great! Everyone was friendly and the drinks came out within 10 minutes .

This spot has an amazing vibe with great jazz music, making for a fantastic atmosphere. Really unique place here in Dallas. However, I'm giving a lower rating due to the pricey drinks, taste and less-than-ideal parking situation. If your coming alone might be a little intimidating if you can't park. The service was decent but got a bit chaotic as the night went on, and dirty dishes weren't cleared often, which made the small tables feel crowded. That said, I'd still recommend checking it out--especially during live music as there is no cover charge! I'd love to return when the weather is nicer to enjoy the outdoor area and games. I also want a visit during the day and try their lattes.

Great spot for live music and cocktails! We went for Valentine's Day so it was pretty packed but will definitely be back again! Highly recommend!

10/10 over all!! The atmosphere is super cozy and accommodating. The outdoor patio is perfect for sun bathing while waiting for your order. An extensive drink and food menu. I got the strawberry matcha latte and it's the best my friend and I have ever had, and she doesn't like matcha drinks typically. We all got the breakfast burritos and they are FIRE!

cookie butter latte and sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich

i really liked this place! there's ample seating and they played great music when i was there. the breakfast sandwich was super yummy and a decent size, it kept me full for a while. i got the cookie butter latte for my drink and it was okay. im pretty sure the only thing that made it "cookie butter" were the crumbles sprinkled on top and the biscoff cookie they placed on the top of the drink. i wish they used some sort of cookie butter syrup. however, i do appreciate that the didn't drown the espresso in milk. i felt that that espresso to milk ration was great; the coffee flavor was strong. also the drink wasn't too sweet which i liked. overall, i will definitely be back! it's a great place to get some work done.

Triumphs turned out to be a really great surprise. I love the idea of combining a coffee shop and a bar together with live music. My cousin wanted to get out to hear some live jazz so we opted to try Triumphs. The cocktails were really good and so were their coffees. We had mixed reviews among our group about the bar food, which all I would say is you have to eat the food while it's hot, you can't linger. Elsewise there wplenty of seating available throughout the night and the service was on point. Doesn't get any better for a coffee shop and a bar.

Peeps! This is that spot. Coffee tasty. Baristas flow with your flow. If Friendly. They friendly. Conservative. They can be that too. A lot of space but still intimate. I have to come back for their jazz set. Stay tuned. #DrKindness

The summer menu cocktail. I loved the detail of the butterfly.

I love that this spot is perfect for both day and night. During the day, I enjoy grabbing a tea and getting some work done, and at night, I love sipping on an espresso martini while listening to live jazz. The bartenders/baristas are not only friendly, but make me feel truly welcomed. I'm also very impressed by their homemade syrups- not just for lattes, but for lemonades too!

Fun quiet place to chit chat and catch up with friends on the outside of downtown! They have a really nice patio where you can work remotely as well! Come on a nice day and see the beauty of this bar!

Any chance it's a kid friendly bar?

I wouldn't call it kid friendly, but you couldn't definitely take a kid there during the day.

After requesting a water to go, we were unexpectedly accused by the bartender, Jake, of placing an alcoholic beverage into a to-go cup. The accusation was embarrassing, unnecessary, and made even more uncomfortable by the fact that it was made publicly and without cause. To be fair, the manager on staff handled our complaint regarding Jake professionally and with care, which we truly appreciated. However, the situation itself left a lasting negative impression. As professionals in the criminal law and medical fields, we value professionalism, discretion, and respectful communication. Being wrongly accused in that manner was disappointing and frankly humiliating. Because of this experience, we will not be returning anytime soon, despite what had otherwise been an enjoyable evening.

It was a few days before Thanksgiving, there was a decent crowd in the bar and everyone including the bartender (who's name I now cant remember because I took so long to write this) were all very friendly and helpful. The bar was warm, cozy and decked out in Christmas decor (and cute bathroom wallpaper). Good beer selection, great food (I literally ate the tikka masala twice during our couple day trip) and they were conveniently open on Thanksgiving after the game and a fun shot wheel, which was both fun to partake in and fun to watch others do. We will definitely be back if we find ourselves back in Dallas.

Often times after it's all said & done, you wonder - was that worth it? Thankfully, that is NOT the experience I had at Haywire! I ate here on August 9th, 2025 and enjoyed everything about it. I was with a large party but would love to return for a more intimate experience. On this Saturday, my younger cousin was graduating from Parker University so I was in town for the weekend. At around 1pm, I was one of the first to arrive at the restaurant. Unfortunately the parking is a bit confusing. There was construction being done on the same street when I went but there's a parking garage for customers that's difficult to navigate AND the elevator that connects wasn't operating at the time which was an issue for many (but not me, I got a good spot & walked). My party hadn't all arrived yet so I took a gander. Upon entering the tall doors, the space breathes southwestern elegance: wooden structure, leather seating, separate dining areas with highlighted ranch-style art. The abundance of space gives it an open-concept feel. The lighting fixtures are modern, the space was dim but not too low, with an option to utilize the large windows also. I was quiet impressed at the overall presentation. When my party did arrive, I wanted to keep it simple so I ordered the Chicken Cobb Salad and a Hibiscus Haze with Vodka. The table shmoozed as we ate some of the appetizers: the Crab Dip & Green Tomatoes, both amazing. The food did take some time but, considering it was 10-12 of us, that's expected. The Hibiscus Haze was splendid: smooth & flavorful, a great concoction. Cobb salads are usually pretty thick but this one was HEARTY. It came in a large bowl stuffed with the all the toppings. The dressing it was tossed with was well balanced but could've used a tad bit more. With some pepper & a little ranch, I was set! I defeated the salad but it also left me stuffed to the gills. Satisfying meal that I would order again! There are tons of restaurants to dine at in Dallas & sometimes you never know which is worth your time. Despite the inconvenience of parking, I'd bet my bottom dollar that this is a good place to eat. Whether you want a fine dining experience, it's a special occasion or just want a good drink with a meal, Haywire has enough to satisfy all interests.

WILL NEVER BE BACK!…read more HATED. EVERY. MOMENT. OF. THIS. PISS. POOR. EXPERIENCE. EVERY. SINGLE. MOMENT. VALET. NOT. FREE. I called before deciding where to eat on a Sunday afternoon to confirm parking situations. Parking is not easy downtown so this played a huge factor in figuring where, out of the dozens of brunch places, to eat. Definitely a bit of a walk to get accommodated at the actual restaurant so valet seemed the most reasonably enticing for parking solutions. Well, I called and spoke with the lady at the front desk. I confirmed with this little girl FOUR TIMES IF 1. They had valet available today 2. If it was complimentary. Come to find out it was not complimentary. And $7 for parking just doesn't sit well with me when there are ample free options else where with satisfying beverage, meal, ambiance, and service. All of which, I DID NOT GET AT HAYWIRE. I come in and although I had a reservation that I was 10 minutes early for while noticing tables available, I was told by that same girl who lied to me about parking I needed to take a seat. Reassuring me that it would only take two minutes to be seated. 10 minutes later I see coupled and groups walking in and guess what? They were immediately sat. While I am waiting to be sat at one of the three clean tables I'm staring at. I finally tell my boyfriend I am about to eat at the bar and he goes to the hostess stand to inform them our frustration and guess what? We were sat immediately. I get seated and there are two standing fans placed next to my table that's blowing my hair all over the f*****g place. I had to tell them to turn them off. What? No AC in this place either?? We immediately ordered and got the elk tacos for an appetizer. The tacos are WAY too spicy and way too salty. Too spicy AND too salty?? They're a no for me. You literally can't taste anything because of both! I HATED these little tacos. Probably the worst I've ever had. Ever seen someone attempt to pinch a bit of salt to season and the entire top comes off?? These tacos. My boyfriend had the chicken fried steak. He loved it (loves spicy and seasonings because he's Cajun) but I tried it and it was over seasoned. Again? Couldn't taste what I was eating. The mashed potatoes were divine. Enjoyed those! And then the green beans were tasteless. Hahaha what a joke. I ordered the barbacoa chilaquiles and it was literally too spicy to eat. Inedible. My eyes teared up, my nose started running, and I couldn't taste anything after a couple bites of the spice. I was so f*****g over this place I just ate my boyfriend's mashed potatoes and we left. If I had it my way, I wouldn't have paid for a thing here. They don't deserve our money and I HATE they got a cent from me. I'm livid. I hate this place W I L L N E V E R B E B A C K
