I called Seaside Crawl Space for a quote and Nick Luzak, the owner, came out and did an inspection…read moreof our crawl space and explained the issues that he found and what could be done to resolve them. We had some significant mold on the joists under our home and during the winter months with the heat pump running our floors were ice cold. We received an estimate from Nicole Luzak, and she was our point of contact through the process. They sent a crew of five personnel, Matt-Melvin-Yorman-Zach-Mark, that worked under our home for three days. The crew cleaned all the debris and other materials from under the house, abated all the mold underneath with a cleaner and fungicide, sealed the space, insulated the space, put down a vapor barrier, and installed a dehumidifier. The crew worked diligently each day, kept their worksite clean, and communicated well with us each day regarding their progress. The crew boss, Matt, reached out to me about our Wifi for the dehumidifier and let me know that we needed to contact our internet provider to split the 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz service so that we could connect up; it was quite helpful. We received a follow up email from Nicole after the work was completed to give us the service manuals and materials relevant to the install. Great communication and high-quality service. Highly recommend. I included a before and after photo of the space.

Though the contact Travis said he was reached "after hours" verified records indicate he was contacted after 9AM on a Monday morning in addition to several unreturned calls. fast, efficient, professional. removed asbestos tile from entire lower floor of an older house…read more (kitchen, living room, two bedrooms, utility room). price was on the lower end of the estimates we got, but we chose them because of their prompt replies and experience in asbestos removal. we emptied had emptied out the house and were really ready to get the ball rolling and they squeezed us in within a week, and their crew took two days to complete the job. they were the second company to book an in-person visit and get us a written estimate, plus they were very responsive to calls and emails. seemed an excellent value for an experienced crew. they sealed area off with plastic and negative air pressure, and used a wet method to remove the tile (thereby avoiding dust). after tile removal, they sealed the concrete subfloor with to trap the remaining mastic residue that was stuck on the concrete. the sealant was almost like a rubbery latex paint (we later installed a vapor barrier and vinyl plank to finish the floor). afterwards there was a strong smell of the sovent and the sealant they used and it took several days of airing out for this to mellow. it smelled like pine or turpentine. no damage, but there were quite a few staples left in the wall from when they installed the plastic barriers-- very inconsequential and easy to remove. we had planned for repainting the walls anyway. realistically one of the best experiences with a big job using a contractor like this!
