I'm extremely disappointed, I had a taste for fried snapper for the last 3 months. I went to capital seafood because the snapper I've gotten from there has been pretty good but I will tell you they offered some that was already filleted. I thought it was convenient so i ordered it. I thought it was weird after glancing at it for a while and After frying it this is definitely not red snapper. It taste more like rockfish. Not one bone in site smh I paid $25 for this and I'm furious. This is the same mess they sell at Walmart in the frozen food section just thawed. This was definitely mislabeled.

This food was nasty. We ordered salmon cakes which was oily, Mac & cheese bland, coleslaw. The other meal Fried Chicken Wings, with soggy fries which we ordered yams and coleslaw. The hush puppies were hard and cold. I stopped eating it.

One of the few fish markets where they fix a variety of seafood plates right in the very place they sell seafood. If you are looking to buy any seafood and or buy seafood that you want cooked. Than look no farther than this place right here. Great customer service and friendly staff. Just your friendly neighborhood fish market.

I've been trying to find different markets to go to change it up from shopping at the usual grocery store. (And support some local business) Came across Capital Seafood and I'm glad I did. Although the aesthetics of the place could use some real good TLC, the market gives you exactly what you asked for. Half seafood market, half restaurant, you can grab a variety of different options to take home and cook yourself. Plus they can scale, gut, clip, filet, etc the fish any way you need. We haven't tried the food from the restaurant yet but you've got plenty of options to choose from. Most foods are fried but if you like good southern cooking like your grandma makes, this place is worth a try.

I go to this location almost every Friday. It's a lady in there who has thee worst attitude ! My order came out to be almost $50 and I knew something was wrong because I order the same thing every time I come in.Mistakes happen BUT when I ask her how much each item is to be sure that price have not changed, and I get eye rolls and attitude, in front of the owner! Come to find out she had rang me up twice for each thing. No apologies nothing. Just more attitude and eye rolls as she fixed the order. Wings had freezer burn underneath breading and it was gunk all over the other container if food. There meats are good mist if the time but this ladies attitude was just disgusting. If she is at register next I come I'll go else where. Just loud, ghetto and WRONG.

How old a fish sandwich all I had was a piece of hard fish that have been cooked so long it was folded in half, plus it did not taste fresh.

They crack those oysters there and then. Lots of fresh oyster liquor. Not some dried up tasteless oyster. I never once considered waffle fries with tartar sauce. Now, it's almost an addiction. We'll typically sit at the side bar area and chat with the employees, who are always friendly and knowledgeable about what they serve. And we'll grab a beer from the nearby bar- it is a food hall, after all- and enjoy a nice meal. They have new specials based on what's good, and they always make them tasty. We love this spot. Plenty of seating since it's shared with all the other vendors. Being that it's in a food hall, if someone in your party doesn't particularly care of Locals, they can easily get something different. This is a huge selling point so that everyone can be happy and full. We ordered: - 4 grilled oysters - a dozen raw oysters - shrimp po boy (with generous portions of shrimp) - some huge fish, maybe snapper? - kale salad Everything about this place is so fresh. You never have to wonder how long it's sat there or if there has been enough patrons to keep the supply fresh. You know at Locals that everything is always on point. Highly recommend to anyone with a fresh seafood itch!

We use them to stock up especially on items "normal" American grocers or the co-op on near Pearsontown don'y carry. Their bok choy and summer melons in particular are wonderful. Get the melons. I mean that. They're perfect for summer. They all have fantastic selection of eel, pork belly, and other meat cuts that you don't see in the nearby Target (which is a shame that the most immediate grocer to me) and a much better price performer than the Wegman's without the pretense. If you're just there for Asian candy and snacks, "all" the big ones aren't there, but some are. It serves that purpose okay, but you're missing out if you limit yourself that way. It's located on the edge of the shopping center where Atomic Empire and that kids party place share. The customer service is brief but accurate and helpful. The bagging goes so quickly I almost feel useless standing there ready to pay. They have always been friendly and kind. I am also chronically ill and continue to mask due to early stage COPD and breast cancer. The other employees also mask. I actually feel safe there. I feel like they care. It feels kind of packed always and like they have a little more stock than room, but this is the local Durham Asian grocer, and they have been in our community a long time. They have earned the loyalty they have.

Sometimes, these are not available, however. | Full Review My girl & I have been here multiple times to buy ingredients for Asian dishes. We often get fresh salmon and shrimps from the seafood section, and we appreciate how seafood here are generallt cheaper compared to H-Mart in Cary. However, H-Mart is still more reliable overall when it comes to other products like kimchi, Korean side dishes, marinated meats, and various other Asian products. Unlike H-Mart's Korean focus, Li Ming's is primarily Chinese, so it's more line Grand Asia Market in Raleigh. One good thing we like in Li Ming's over Grand Asia is that it's less crowded and more spacious areas. Although it can get crowded here at times, it doesn't feel as congested as Grand Asia's constant overflow of customers coming and going. However, when it comes to the different goods you can get from Grand Asia's restaurant/cafe/bakery, Li Ming's Global Mart falls short. All you can get in Li Ming's are mostly mediocre-tasting Chinese food that goes well with rice and some noodle bowls that may be too salty to some people. The bakery inside Li Ming's is nice; we used to buy egg tarts and curry bread here. It's no Tours les Jours but it's not bad. They also offer boba milk tea but we wouldn't recommend it. As for the canned/preserved/frozen foods in the grocery section, generally, we prefer Korean brands over Chinese ones, so overall, we still prefer going to H-Mart for buying Asian products. Just like in H-Mart, we've seen unfriendly customer service in Li Ming's but no major issues. The most problematic one was when we tried to dine-in and get the 3 choices of food with white rice, and the lady serving had an attitude, and did'nt put enough fish on our plate. | Overall Score: 3.3/5

Fresh International Market, while isn't as large or vast as some other markets, has the staples of Asian cuisine ingredients. I was able to find plentiful mustard greens, bean sprouts, taro, daikon, etc. They even had balut! Which is an indication that a lot of old school families go there, since balut is a controversial yet deep rooted delicacy of the east. In terms of herbs though, they seem to have more Chinese herbs, than Vietnamese or Korean which is a pattern I'm noticing with Asian grocers. Whatever ethnicity owns a certain grocery, carries more food items of that ethnicity, as opposed to others. It took me a while to figure that out. Just like any other Asian grocers, they have a ton of veggies, meat, snacks and even cute ceramics - bowls, plates, dipping sauce dishes, utensils, etc. They also have a neat sit down or to-go hotpot bar, similar to a buffet style bar (although it's served to you) so you can build your own meal. I found that super neat and convenient for people who just want a quick bowl but not all of the fuss of small plates, and the overall hectic experience of hot pot. Connected to the store is a nice French bakery too, that adds to the convenience of this grocery store. Overall, a good place to secure all of your Asian grocery needs!

For $10.99 (three-item plate), you get a very generous amount of food, which is hard to beat. There are also a decent number of meat options to choose from. That said, the selection felt limited for anyone going meat-free, and more importantly, the food itself lacked flavor. The mapo tofu was disappointing, and the bok choy was pretty bland. Others in our group tried the orange chicken, which was described as okay, but nothing anyone would go out of their way for. Overall, it's filling and affordable, but not particularly memorable. Good for quantity, just not quality or standout flavor.

At the front of the store, there is a grassy area with picnic benches, and I find it so inviting. People are having lunch dates there, sharing snacks, and just enjoying the weather.
