There were no patrons eating in on this cold night. However, a few patrons were picking patrons picking up orders. My daughter ordered a crab boil. Sadly, one of her favorite parts of the order, the corn, was omitted when we arrived home. I ordered a fried shrimp basket with sweet potato fries. It was pretty good. The shrimp were fried well but not overcooked. The fries were adequate. The menu is varied and the prices are $, so I will definitely visit again when I am in the area.

Food is served cooked in a bag family style. Service was surprisingly fast. Flavor was great though I would recommend it to be a little more creamy or offer a creamy option.

Vietnamese noodles meal (beef, chicken, shrimp) NO PORK

Fish and Shrimp platter cooked hot and crispy each time I've visited. Also, if you like Chinese food, they do have Vietnamese curry noodle meal (Mei Fun), but it is not listed on the menu. All you have to do is ask waitress for it and they will make it with beef, chicken, shrimp (no pork).

I have only ordered food to go from this spot, but it was delicious! The service got my order correct and the food was fresh and hot! Sometimes sweet potato fries don't travel well, but these were on point.

This was our first time visiting this restaurant. I felt like eating crab legs and majority of the crab restaurants in Durham were closed down. This was one of the only ones that appeared to still be opened, so we decided to try it. The host and cashier were friendly and professional. We felt like valued customers. We ordered right away and our food was served quickly. We ordered 2 "make your own" seafood in the bag dishes without corn; I am allergic to corn. One bag was with a garlic butter sauce, and the other bag was with an old bay seasoning sauce. Both sauces really enhanced the flavor of the seafood and potatoes. We enjoyed our meals.

One of my favorite Chinese places in the city, the food is great and the service is always fast and friendly. They even offer seafood options in this restaurant as well. With a great atmosphere to dine in and relax. The wings are top tier!

Saw this spot after leaving Big Lots and thought I would give it a try. This place is super big and clean. The tables are social distanced, and all staff members are wearing mask (properly) with gloves. I ordered the shrimp po boy sandwich with cajun fries. The wait for my food wasn't long at all and it came out piping hot. My waiter was really attentive and kept my drink full. The food was really good - fries were crispy but not hard, the shrimp was seasoned perfectly and the lettuce was crisp. This was my first time here, but definitely not my last!

CrabSea is a much needed "Asian Cajun" restaurant in the Durham area! Surprisingly, there's nothing close to it. I don't consider Louisiana Cajun Bars and Seafood Bars the same. "Asian Cajun" is another level and CrabSea does it right. I believe they have something special going on here and soon enough, there will also be similar concepts popping up around this area. I stopped in for dinner on a late Wednesday night. The space is huge! The waitress told me that this building used to be a Chinese Buffet. There were 3 other parties dining in but the people were constantly coming in and out to pick up take out orders. I suggest that you come hungry! Not only do they serve "Asian Cajun", they also have a Chinese food menu. My food came out quick! I went with... * Crab Sea Sauce (Medium) -- A nice blend of garlic, butter, sweetness, salty ness * 1/2 shrimp with head-on -- Juicy and cooked to perfection * 1/2 crawfish -- huge! Super delicious! * Corn/Potato -- complimented the meal, lovely texture * Rice -- paired well To top it off, customer service was amazing! I left a nice tip. It was definitely worth the experience! I thought prices were fair for the quality of the food.

In the case of Succotash we feel we have found the holy grail... Friendly, knowledgeable waitstaff? check Homey and a little funky atmosphere? check cool soundtrack? check BUT what about the food? We first came for brunch... I had the 'Brisket and Grits'. It was a very tender brisket with cheesy, garlicky grits, scallions with fried egg. The best part? They drizzle some of the brisket gravy over the grits... Oh man this was delish. We got talking about South Louisiana food with our server and he told us they bring in Leidenheimers french bread from New Orleans for their po-boy's. What's the big deal? ...I'll tell you! The bakery was founded in 1896 and it is the ONLY bread that marks a true po-boy to New Orleans natives. Why? Because of it's unique texture. Their loaves have a pillowy soft interior and a crunchy crust that isn't found in most french breads. It's the gold standard for po-boys. So today, I came back to Succotash for an Oyster po-boy. And the Verdict? Five stars mon ami! Leidenheimers bread with a very generous amount of perfectly fried oysters. ...I like mine simple with just lettuce, tomato and a little hot sauce. This was I can honestly say, the very best oyster po-boy I have found outside of NOLA. ... so yeah, I've found a new home... thanks and a tip o' the hat to Chef Juan DiGiulio and the great staff he has brought together!

While the food was good, it didn't knock my socks off. And they're definitely more of a creole restaurant than a southern one. There are better cajun/Creole restaurants in the RTP area. I was going to order the creole gumbo, but found out when I came in that it was a seafood gumbo today not their regular one. Oh well. So I ordered jambalaya with a side of red beans and rice. Both were good but a little dry and I've had better nearby. The fresh catch of the Day was Amber Jack, and I love that fish, so maybe I should've ordered that in a Poboy. Might come back to try some of their other offerings.

They frequently checked in and made sure my water never got too low. I got the broiled oysters drogos style and they were AMAZING. There was so much parmesan cheese and the garlic butter was so good I could almost drink it. I just wish I got more bread so I could enjoy the cheese and butter more. Not that it matters too much but I was expecting charbroiled oysters on the half shell like in New Orleans, but these oysters come already shucked without the shell. The NC Catfish on the other hand was good, but not great. The catfish was crispy. The beans, rice, and pork were perfectly cooked. However, the meal tasted very bland and underseasoned, which was so surprising for a New Orleans inspired restaurant, and the pork portion was extremely small

There is plenty of parking on the backside of the building, paid parking out front, and be careful not to park in the apartment spaces on the side...they sounded pretty serious about towing. I had made a reservation but it was probably unnecessary as it was pretty empty when we arrived (it was about 5pm on a Saturday.) The waitress brought a bottle of water to the table and took our drink order. And I know that this place is literally call it's a Southern thing but can I mention how much I dislike drinking out of mason jars? I ordered the chicken n biscuits, my husband got the country hamburger steak plate, my BiL got wings, and my SiL got the crabcakes. We also orders charred jalapeno & sweet corn hushpuppies and frickles as an appetizer. I was VERY excited about my food. Y'all...the only thing that impressed me were the Frickles. Everything else was distinctly underwhelming. I also ordered Blackberry Betta Have My Money which was not that great. My SiL ordered a espresso martini that they said didn't come from a mix but she said it tasted like it was. The bathrooms were very clean. The decor and the vibe were great. Cute even. I really enjoyed that part of it. After dropping off our food, we never saw our waitress again unless we flagged her down for drink refills. It was especially frustrating since there was automatic gratuity added. And since the place wasn't that busy, it felt like she didn't feel the need to earn her automatic tip. Overall I was disappointed in my birthday dinner. I won't be coming back here.
