I ended up having to take my Silverado back to the GM dealer where they found work done by Schueler Automotive that actually caused more issues with the truck. I originally brought the truck in for injector code issues. Schueler changed all 8 injectors, but it still showed the same injector codes and misfires . After a month with my truck they advised it was the ECU now but they could not fix it and advised me to take the truck to the GM dealer /service. So after the GM tech looked at it, they realized that Schueler had smashed parts of the wiring harness and also found chafed wires on the fuel injector harness where Schuler had used a pry tool to get the fuel injectors out, in turn frying the ECU. In addition, Schueler did not properly size the injector orings and the new injectors were leaking. So $3000 later at the GM dealer the truck was finally fixed. Schueler Automotive charged me $1800 for their shotty work and would not refund nor give me any discounts (per the owner) ,for their incomplete work then gave me a truck back that had more issues then when I brought it in for, in addition, to keeping it for a month with very little communication. I had to call multiple times to check on the progress, and no call backs for days sometimes. I highly recommend you take your vehicle somewhere else , I will NEVER use or recommend Schueler Automotive again. I would give them zero stars if I could.

The price they gave me AFTER DIAGNOSTIC was more expensive than local dealers for the same work. But since the car was already there and the appointment was made that was fine because I didn't have to work until Wednesday and if they had it fixed by Tuesday, no issue... Tuesday rolls around, no phone call, no communication. Late in the day I finally called and asked for an update. They told me it wasn't done and it looked like it would be one more day. So, I made plans to get a ride to work, and plans to pick me up. An hour before they were set to close, still no call, and we call them again, after I made plans to get off early and get a ride to get to the shop only to find out they still have even started on the work. I won't use them again, it was my first time, and suggest you don't either. They seem to want your business and then will hold you hostage until they finally get around to whatever you brought them.

I own a 2001 Hyndai Elantra that is in excellent shape. A good portion of the reason it runs so well is because of Doug. He has done some major engine work on my car, and on my son's Sephia. In fact, my son's Sephia needed a new engine; Doug worked within a network of used parts on the west coast and found us a major steal on the replacement. Better, he took the time to road-test the car, and he gave free adjustments to his work -- he guarantees all of his work. He changed the timing belt on my car, and when he did, he made other adjustments that helped the car idle at a better rpm. My 12 year-old car now is getting 29.2 miles to the gallon because of his adjustments. I like that! The reason that I will keep Doug as my main mechanic is because he is a, well, geek, through and through. I would refer to Doug as a gearhead, but the title would be limiting. I think of him as a geek as the ultimate compliment, because I have never met someone who is so intent on working on a car and fixing it. He also keeps the old pieces that he has replaced, and he explains the damage on them, so he operates with integrity. Frankly, we're lucky to have him as our mechanic. P.S. This included a free all-points inspection with photos and info (e.g. brake pad thickness) and broke everything down by degree of urgency. Service was prompt and friendly, and after I discovered transmission fluid was leaking from one car when we got home, they apologized and got me back in right away to correct the issue. Parking lot is tight and there's no night drop (fenced lot), but they have a nice waiting area and their lobby shows how involved they are in supporting the local community.
