Delivered the vehicle to them Monday. They knew from me what was the problem and could have ordered parts before I even arrived, but decided to wait until I arrived on Monday. Monday, when I was being dropped off, I was told repairs like I was asking for take one, maybe two days to fix. The price they gave me AFTER DIAGNOSTIC was more expensive than local dealers for the same work. But since the car was already there and the appointment was made that was fine because I didn't have to work until Wednesday and if they had it fixed by Tuesday, no issue... Tuesday rolls around, no phone call, no communication. Late in the day I finally called and asked for an update. They told me it wasn't done and it looked like it would be one more day. So, I made plans to get a ride to work, and plans to pick me up. An hour before they were set to close, still no call, and we call them again, after I made plans to get off early and get a ride to get to the shop only to find out they still have even started on the work. I won't use them again, it was my first time, and suggest you don't either. They seem to want your business and then will hold you hostage until they finally get around to whatever you brought them.

After striking out after several calls I tried his shop. Rick the owner, a vet, was awesome. I explained what my needs were and he tracked down the right tires for the van plus new wiper blades and better headlight bulbs. His waiting area is super comfy with couches, TV and a Kurig. As it turned out they got in the wrong wiper blades so while his guy was blasting out the tires, Rick drove out and got the right blades. In a messed up and sometimes indifferent world it was a pleasure to meet Rick and his shop. His prices are super fair and explained up front and i couldn't be happier with the experience. I would definitely recommend his shop for any of your auto repair needs. Me and my van is in much better shape thanks to Rick. Thanks!

Cut to 3 weeks later and my rear tires seized up as I was driving 70 MPH! Found out the plug from the fluid they checked wasn't there. The fluid had all leaked out and caused my back end to freeze up. Either they never put it back or put it back carelessly. They claimed it wasn't their fault and also said I voided a warranty that said I had to take it back to their shop. I was 2 hours away from Olympia and at the time didn't know what was wrong with it so why would I tow it there? I had to sell my 7 year old 4 runner for scrap and buy a new car. They're lucky no one was hurt when my car suddenly froze up on the freeway. My hope is they are more cautious and careful in the future. zero stars.

Larsen's took the time to actually inspect everything and gave me a much more accurate picture. They confirmed the rear brakes were still in good shape (around 10mm), the control arm bushings were fine, and none of that additional work was needed right now. That kind of honesty is rare. This included a free all-points inspection with photos and info (e.g. brake pad thickness) and broke everything down by degree of urgency. Service was prompt and friendly, and after I discovered transmission fluid was leaking from one car when we got home, they apologized and got me back in right away to correct the issue. Parking lot is tight and there's no night drop (fenced lot), but they have a nice waiting area and their lobby shows how involved they are in supporting the local community.
