Parking is typically pretty easy to find in the large shopping center they're in. We signed her up for their once a week introduction to dance class. She loved her classmates and instructor and wanted to do their recital in June. The class provided a lot of valuable life lessons. She learned and had several things reiterated: confidence, human kindness, paying attention, respect, responsibility, timeliness, and trying your hardest. Their waiting room is exceptionally small, and they prefer you drop off and pick up your child after class. Unfortunately, that's not realistic for her due to some separation anxiety issues, but we'll continue working on it. Starbucks and Walgreens are both within walking distance for those who are able to drop off their child or children. They sell a variety of ballet and dance apparel and shoes. The recital costumes were reasonably priced and absolutely gorgeous. Tickets were also reasonably priced, and the show was well planned and executed. Our daughter's dance partner bailed on her before the second show, and her instructor Mona helped instill the confidence in her to perform a solo rendition that she did a fantastic job with. She's excited to begin class again in August after soccer is over and to perform again in December's recital.

My daughter's first year in 6th grade went smoothly, with nice and helpful teachers. But as she transitioned into 7th grade it started to get horrendous. These teachers don't actually teach ANYTHING, all students are always on the Chromebooks and never get assigned any worksheets, or any real work, this specifically goes to all of the new teachers because all the old ones left. Lots of past teachers were leaving without anybody knowing why which made the learning for my daughter's second year drop. This school also does portfolio 6th-8th, but for my daughter's experience in 7th grade they had no portfolio help and the teachers were barely present. Beware, your children wont be learning in this school.

Linda has a great eye and gives useful corrections. Students run the gamut from professionals who are visiting back to their home school here to retired people who have only ever danced recreationally (me, for one), so you can see wonderful dancers as examples but also feel like you belong without being professional level. Linda is calm and objective, which helps keep the stress level manageable. Mondays and Fridays at 10 a.m. Erika Patterson teaches an adult class that is newer so it is small group. Erika is a lovely dancer who gives us an aspirational example. She also has a broad knowledge of ballet education and is able to include different ways we may have been taught in the past in her corrections. Right now the pace is slower than the Tues/Thurs class but everyone gets individual corrections and can benefit. Adults pay by purchasing drop in class cards on line. Price varies from $22 at one class to $12 a class if more are purchased. Abelardo Cisneros also teaches a fun intermediate class Wednesday evenings.

Kim's little homey cottage is located right next to the Sierra 2 Center in East Sacramento and there is street parking available. The class for my daughter's age group is on Tuesdays from 5-7pm with 1 hour being for singing/voice lessons and the other 1 hour being for dance lessons. There are 4 classes a month essentially for under $200. Kim was very professional and great with the kids! It was fun to see new and returning students in her class and to see who was comfortable and who was still coming out of their shell. My daughter had a great time at the trail class, but she currently does another activity on Tuesdays so the class for her age group isn't a good fit for us right now, but we hope to come back and join Kim's class in the future. Give them a call or visit if you or your kids are interested in Performing Arts - Kim has been around for 30+ years and you can tell how much she loves what she does!

This was the worst gym experience I have ever had…read more If this location had been my first experience with Planet Fitness, I never would have signed up, and I am now seriously considering canceling my membership. The facility is poorly maintained, and the staff is completely unprofessional. Privacy Violation: Instead of politely asking me for a membership photo while I was standing right at the front desk, a male employee waited until I walked away and shouted my company name out loud. This drew unwanted attention from other members and caused unnecessary embarrassment. Lack of Cleanliness: I spent four hours at the gym, and not once did staff enter the women's locker room or restrooms to clean. The showers had hair everywhere, and it took 15 to 30 minutes for the water to turn from cold to hot. Trash and tissue paper in ever bathroom stalls , it had a strong sewer odor coming through the vents . Poor Maintenance: Instead of properly cleaning and sanitizing the facility, an employee just walked around carrying a small duster, ignoring actual sanitation needs. Unwelcoming Attitude: The front desk staff spent their time laughing, joking, and ignoring their duties. When I left, instead of a polite goodbye, I received rude and angry stares from the employees. The members working out were friendlier than the people being paid to run the gym. This location needs a complete overhaul of its staff and management.

Located in the back of a huge gymnastics bldg, there are two rooms available and usually two classes going on at the same time. Cost varies depending on how many hourly classes a week - 1 time a week is $50 a month. A one time initial registration fee is $25. To try the class one time is $15.
