Came to Michael & Co because I was being quoted $2k to fix my lower splash shield, replace my washer bottle, and right front fender liner at Honda service center. Lynn and the staff I met with in general were friendly, honest, and professional. Lynn was able to get me in really quickly to assess the damage and was able to repair my car in a matter of a couple days. When I told Lynn the estimated cost from Honda, she reassured me that it won't cost that much, honestly instant relief. They quoted me $952.26 and broke down the cost of things and labor. I will definitely be coming here from now on for any repairs. They were also super accommodating with my work schedule and made sure I had my car back before my work shift. My family and I have been coming to Michael & Co for over 15 years, and they've truly been our go-to for everything from regular maintenance to major body work. I needed my rear doors repainted and the color matched on my 1963 Dodge Town Wagon Power Wagon that was painted somewhere else three years ago. The new paint turned out so good that I wished I would have come here for the complete paint job back then. My rear doors are now flawless. I'm going back to them now for the mechanical side of the business since they literally do it all there. Thank you to all who work there! PS. I found out about this place because a local car wash put a car too close to me and that car pushed me through the wash while I was in it. No follow through. They are very expensive, and didn't even share a diagnostic report with me even though they charged much more than anyone I know . All they had were some handwritten notes with vague information about the problem and expensive repairs without any breakdown of the work needed. read more

My jeep was messed up pretty good by another repair shop. Michael's had equipment and staff that know electrical, helped me with a rental car while fixing. The initial problem was partially solved and going back again for more work. They really have the knowledge and understanding of the jeep and working through the progression of the issues that are affecting the electrical problems. I'm going back , need to address the issue with electrical , but am very confident this will be repaired perfectly, the problem is still intermittent. Kay is an amazing manager and it is a good value to take your vehicle here. The cost is reasonable and the workmanship is excellent. It's amazing how they go through eliminating the issues, and are working through the continued intermittent problems. I highly recommend this shop!!! read more

My Toyota tundra got t-boned by a motorcycle I took it to Michael and company cuz I was told they were reputable being a small female that went in and asked for my estimate I've been told that it was going be$150 when I came back to get my estimate I was told that it was $300 and that my vehicle was totaled was going to be $7,000 for the transmission and more because they had to check out the motor they gave me no reasons why and I left I paid them the $300 and I left driving my truck now I need to give some paperwork to the insurance company called at Michael and company and for some reason they cannot find any reference no paperwork nothing I looked on carvana to sell the vehicle so there that Michael and company I called back to Michael and company and was told they could not find any paperwork and the next time I look on carvana they said my truck was worth $3,900 very interesting but it also said that they had serviced my vehicle not read more

I couldn't be more happy with my service! I had a bad experience with another fix-it shop where they stripped my oil pan. I called Michael and Company to see what they could do to help (if anything) as I did not want to purchase a new oil pan (would have been a few thousand dollars). I called and explained the situation, they asked a few questions ( Car make, year etc) and they gave me a ball park quote for $250 to $400 to fix the oil pan without having to replace it. They told me to bring my car in whenever! I brought it in a few days later and they had it fixed within 4 hours and charged me in the middle of the quoted range. What more could you ask for?! I then took my car in again a week later for a light bulb change and had the same amazing customer service experience again. My light bulb change was under $30 including the light bulb at Micheals and the dealership had quoted me $85+ for service alone. I will never be taking my car anywhere BUT Micheals again. read more

5 stars across the board! I was referred here by someone's whose opinion I trust. My dad's 2011 Ford ranger had a clutch that was going out Ford wanted over 3 grand. I called and spoke with James, who was amazing by the way. Made an appointment to drop it off. They did an inspection on the overall vehicle and let me know that yes the clutch needed to be replaced. He said go ahead and do the work. It gave me a call when it was completed. They also sent me a text message with a link to the inspection and everything they found in regards to the vehicle. All in all vehicles in really good shape. They did not try to upsell me or get me to do work that didn't need to be done. Very rare in the automotive repair business. If you need work on your truck and need someone you can trust this is the place. When I came in to pick up the truck I was pleasantly surprised at the out the door cost. Let's just say it was much cheaper than Ford. Everybody in the office was welcoming and nice. The work done on the vehicle was completed in a timely fashion and the truck drives great. The quality of Michael's is unmatched. I didn't know what to expect, I've never had my car fixed after and accident. I tried to find an adjuster last minute after a different place messed up my appointment. I was so fortunate to have found this place. First off the staff is incredible. The ladies in the office are amazing souls who understood my frustration and kept me up to date on the progress of my car. It took 2 months but when I got her back it was worth the wait. My car looks brand new it looks better than when I picked her up from the dealership. I just expected them to fix my car but they returned her fully detailed inside and out. I get to go back to get three new hubcaps and a pinstripe paint line along my car sides. I'm so thankful to the team for putting my car together so beautifully and working with my insurance to get more things covered to make sure she looked presentable. Ugh I'm so disappointed. I went in last week for an oil change, when asked if I wanted anything else checked I asked to please check my tire pressure since the alert kept coming up on and off and they agreed to check that out. I get there to pick up my car, I leave, and then I get a call from them that they left my hood open. Truly disappointed by the lack of attention to detail, not a huge issue but it is careless. Then the next day, my low tire pressure alert goes off, they didn't check my tire pressure like I had asked and like they said they would. These issues just seem a careless on their end and they shouldn't agree to check something out in regards to my car if they won't do it. On 12/28/2022 I finally posted my review. I had zero contact from anyone from your company and heard nothing back for over a month until I posted this review and your only form of communication was to try and denounce what happened. You are doing nothing but proving my point that you have no integrity period. You had over a month to reach out to me Felicia and you failed to do so. Now let's address your response because you failed to tell the truth. You absolutely did not secure the wires with heat resistant tape the wires were loose and if you did you didn't secure it well because when I had your work fixed there wasn't any there. You allegedly did this at no charge....really...Now you said at that time you let me know there were wires hanging? NO you did NOT!!!! I didn't receive any phone calls or text from you stating this. I dropped it off and the next communication I received from you was a text stating that is was done. Care to share any phone records or texts? No because you can't. Now your 30plus year tech told me the flex plate was warped and I provided a video to you through AAA showing it wasn't so that was one of the several lies by you. Now when the AAA rep asked why you mentioned nothing when the truck was apart he told me your rep Kay just shrugged his shoulders with no answer......but now you seem to have one...how convenient. I took the time to take videos of your work and how it was properly done by another after and according to the AAA rep you were taking light of it "how do we know this is the vehicle etc?" Okay did Kay tell you also don't worry it won't be that much it's just an estimate. You are not getting the timeline straight either and bending it to your advantage. You mentioned about me having telling you I'd have the engine builder replace the flex plate and that is correct but it was when I was picking up the truck you didn't advise me at any time before that so please stop altering things you are making yourself look worse and again just proving my point. The place I took it to was very adamant you did not shim it. He is a stand up person with tons of integrity so yes I'm going to believe him over you especially with all of the other issues in regards to your company. Being involved in a hit-and-run has got to be number 1 on my annoyance list. I found Michael & Company through TireRack.com where I purchased some new wheels and tires. Part of the purchase process was to choose an installer in my area from a list of shops they provided and to whom they would ship my wheels and tires to and who would also install them. I chose Michael & Company and I'm glad I did. They were reliable and did a great job. They also put my old wheels and tires in my trunk for me made sure they covered the upholstery in my car so as not to dirty them. I had to wait a bit because they were pretty backed up, but they kept me updated frequently. The following day I went back to get a new custom exhaust system installed and although they were quite busy and it was a Friday afternoon they squeezed me in and let me know that they would only charge me for 1 hour of labor. I agreed to it. As it turned out they installed my new exhaust in less than an hour and they only charged me the prorated amount. That was really kind of them and they were very fair about it. I truly appreciated that. The air conditioner in my Honda was not working properly. It hadn't been for over a year. I took it to my local Honda dealership twice and each time they were dismissive. Someone recommended Michael & Co. I drove 30 miles to have them troubleshoot the problem. Michael & Co went above and beyond. They injected dye into the system to check if there were any leaks. They noticed the filter was clogged and the dealership had overfilled the freon. Once they unclogged the system, my air conditioning was working at optimal levels. I finally have cool air! This place is amazing! I had gotten in a car accident almost a year ago and came here to get my trunk door and rear bumper replaced. I was having an issue with my reverse sensors and my trunk door handle after a few months, so I came back to the collision department to have them look at what I noticed to see what they could do. Yolanda was amazing and ended up fixing both of my issues for free right then and there, which I was not expecting at all and was such a kind gesture. I called them and they answer with a fat attitude just because you called and now have to make them do their job. Please avoid this place at all cost I've been told by some of my coworkers that they take months just to repair your vehicle and yet they ask the insurance for an insane amount of money so they can pocket after parts and labor. This shop is fantastic. They have excellent customer service and they have excellent mechanics. What else could you ask for? Oh, that's right; and their prices are fair and transparent. Chris helped me out a ton: he scheduled my repair, gave me an incredibly accurate estimate (no bait and switch), and he kept me updated with all the milestones of progress throughout the repair. He genuinely seems happy to work here. Also, their mechanic shop is huge, they perform all sorts of work for any vehicle. Truly, they can do any type of modification or repair. Great Customer service! Super easy process to get an estimate through State Farm Claims. They partner with State Farm so the process was seamless. Yolanda at the reception desk is great: friendly and efficient. Unfortunately my car had to be totaled but that is not their fault (blame my newly licensed 16 yo). I was easily able to access my car to clear my belongings out and say goodbye once we got the news from State Farm that it was a total loss. OK-about three weeks ago I brought in my TOYO for front brake pads, according to a diagnostic another mechanic did. M $ C put the pads on-($300+) but there was still a problem. After a bringing the car back, the boss said, 'Gee, i wondered if I should check the BACK brakes too", which is what I had told the shuttle driver when we were headed back to the shop the second time. So I left it again, and got hit for another $500+. NO AAA DISCOUNT that I could see-maybe Im wrong about that. I'm still hearing weird noises-almost grinding noises-when I brake. I went to another repair shop near my office in Mtn View for 10 yrs and the lockdown forcing me to find an alternate shop closer to home. I found Michael & Co thru my Costco membership haha. I recently wrote the attached review and am very happy to say that we got a call from someone at Michael & Co. This call meant so much as it shows their there are measures in place to monitor their service. Thank you Felisha for the outreach............................We have been customers for over 20 years and recently brought in our car to fix a broken part that raises and lowers the window. We had to bring the car back 3 times to repair stuff they didn't do right the first time. The car was returned with other broken parts (near where they did their work) and they will not claim responsibility for all their mistakes. They did replace a panel (that they punctured when working on the car) but that was after the 3rd trip to their shop. They then agreed to reimburse us if we found the part to fix another issue. After sending the receipt, they have now said they won't cover it. read more
