Writing this now because I just saw an outlet underneath the sink that's not at all mounted to the wall and was reminded of how ridiculous this whole ordeal was. They'd come maybe 2 times a week, maybe less, sit in the driveway and wait for each other for a while, and they'd always forget what they were supposed to do. Then they'd say "ah ya we remember now, gotta go to Home Depot" and take another 1-2 hours. The pace of work was incredibly slow. When they were redoing our kitchen, we came home and saw that the main handyman had bought cabinets for the sink that opened straight into the fridge and stove, so you could barely open them. It was on a corner, so clearly a corner / lazy Susan cabinet was needed. Delayed the job by however many days. They cracked the sink they put in, and there's carvings in the countertops from where they messed up with sloppy cutting. When they installed the AC window units, they stained the window panes, sink, and the outside of the house with the insulation foam and didn't attempt to clean it until I asked. They didn't get much up; still stained. They didn't put calking around the countertop they put in behind the sink. There were a bunch of other times where similar things happened that I had to ask them to redo it or do a part of the job they'd missed.

Professional Contractor here:…read more There are two types of contractors out there, service/handyman contractors and new construction contractors. I want to believe these guys are good at new installs, but they were horrible at diagnosing a problem. I have a problem with my fan coil unit leaking water and shutting off. Leaving me with zero air. I told him what I believe is wrong with the Fan coil unit and other items such as possibly low 410A freon. He quickly jump on that and said " you must have low Freon and that is your problem" without addressing anything else. He then begins to tell me it's $195 per pound for Freon and $2500 to replace all my line sets. I requested he show me the readings and without surprise everything was at normal operating levels and no leak. He then said he had to call a different company to come out and diagnose the problem and they would come back another time. The line set and Freon was not the problem and they were trying to make a quick $800 and overload my system. This would result in an overloaded system and freeze up my unit. Moral of the story, I would not trust the integrity of this company. If you don't know what you are doing just be honest and say " I don't know what's wrong, I can't help you."

After consulting with us for almost two hours, the deal was done. Now we just wait for the final product. I really appreciated the complete attention we received considering it was a long time showing the design and basically having a Q&A session to make sure everything was properly addressed. They greeted me with a good morning and welcomed me to their space and directed me further. I was on the first floor past the courtyard which is large and beautiful and perfect place to escape for fresh air, to eat, or to do a little bit of work. If it's rain or too sunny, there are plenty of places in the inside to sit and do work including high tops outside of the many meeting rooms as well as dedicated study room areas. Not sure how much it cost to rent a place but for our meeting it was perfect. They also have a little cafe on site so you don't have to leave for your caffeine or small treats.
