While the store is cute and I got a great plant there on sale that has lasted a while I also bought a pair of hoops. And the quality is bad for the price. I have a ton of gold dipped jewelry and assumed these would last. 6 months later they have tiny brown rust/discoloration spots on different parts of the hoops and on the place you put them in (only took one side photo but spots are on both sides). I have never gotten them wet and only wore them like 3 times! They have mostly stayed in a jewelry box. So overall disappointed and won't be buying jewelry there again. read more

I've been reviewing a lot of boutiques and gift shops lately and I've definitely started to develop some frustrations. I love to shop local...but the local stores I'm visiting all seem to carry the same collections. Unfortunately, RG ended up being one of those stores where, upon perusing the inventory, I found myself among many familiar pieces and trinkets. The focus of this store is on semi-fine jewelry: the center is positively filled with very dainty, gold-filled jewelry. It all looked extremely fragile, so I didn't touch anything. It's not my style of jewelry, but I see many women wearing similar pieces, so, of course, to each their own. They offer permanent jewelry according to their website. The aisles to the sides carried a familiar set of ceramics and fragrances. They also had a collection of gardening equipment and house plants for sale. When it comes to value, I'm really hesitating. I think the jewelry might be slightly higher in price than similar pieces at another location. So, there. It's not bad. It's not exceptional. It's OK. If you are looking for something specific, I would suggest checking the website before visiting the store. Although there is a lot of parking, I visited on a Monday afternoon at around 3pm and I barely found a parking space. I imagine it must be much more congested on the weekend. read more

This is such a classy, cool shop. I was very surprised to see they offer skincare products in this boutique store. The jewelry is beautiful and well made! Prices are affordable. The customer service was excellent! The woman in the store seemed to be very knowledgeable about the items and offered advice on how to select a good piece. The store is clean, organized and just all around beautiful. This is a great place to go if you're looking for items for your house/apt or gifts for friends and loved ones. Simple elegant jewelry always does the trick! Parking is tricky but we parked in the neighborhood behind the Main Street. Getting metered parking there is as easy as winning the lottery! Geesh! Agree with others below. Horrible quality and service. The earrings I bought would not clasp and the sales person basically blamed me. I exchanged for another pair and she would only give me a store credit for the difference. She was totally condescending. I went back in and asked to take a picture of the earrings that I bought which were broken and she said I was aggressive and rude. I wanted to show the owner. I asked for the owners name and she wouldn't give it to me. Then she asked me to leave the store and said she would call the police. Are you kidding me? Wow in Atwater. My friend and I were so excited to get matching permanent jewelry at this shop. Once we chose our jewelry it took the sales attendant (very kind woman) about 15 minutes to weld the jewelry on each of us. We spent probably 45 min to an hour in the store. She had to re-weld mine 4-5 times because it "wasn't staying closed." Sure enough mine broke off 4 days later and my friends broke off 3 weeks after mine did. Very frustrated with the fact that the permanent jewelry lasted less than a month for me and about a month for my friend. read more

I first discovered RG at craft fairs throughout LA. Then they opened a retail store in Atwater Village, and so glad they did because I absolutely adore this store so much! I have purchased silver and gold earrings, rings, and necklaces here! On top of that, they ear piercing and sells plants. The quality is good for everyday wear or special occasions. PARKING: There is street parking with meters right on Glendale Blvd. and street parking in the neighborhood/ residential in the back. Several cute stores to browse and shop too. There are restaurants too, so people pay the meters to eat or do take out and many times I've gotten lucky with parking or meters that still have time on them! SERVICE: The owners/ staffs are all so helpful! They are responsive (email and phone), gives helpful opinions when asked, and has great customer service which helped me with my jewelry shopping experience every single time. I was enthused about RG when it first opened up - as an accessible option for everyday jewelry and gifts. But over time too many of my purchases have ended up broken, about 50% actually. I received one pair of earrings in which the stem broken right off the first time I wore it. This was a gift that I received. On another occasion, I gifted a pendant that broken off of its chain about a month into wear. On both occasions, RG gave me an exchange, no problem. But it's a bit embarassing, a bit of a hassle, and takes away trust in the jewelry. Another issue is that the solid gold 15k earrings don't even come with real backers - they come with rubber stoppers that fall right off. Too many cut corners. read more

I have had the opportunity to visit all three of their shops, and each one was just beautiful with a great variety of jewelry and other sustainable products! Absolutely in love with this store. I originally came to visit a neighboring store when I saw that RG had plants laid out in the front. To my surprise, they also carried beautiful jewelry. It was really nice not to be followed around and asked a million questions while I shopped. I purchased an opal ring and strawberry necklace for myself and a pair of threader earrings as a gift. I love jewelry I don't have to take off and these are definitely made very well. After falling in love with my in store experience, I ended up looking RG up. I really love this company.Most of all I love the customer service I have received . When going to to the Glendale location , I feel nothing but love and the employees are always informative on the brand and helpful making the tough decision of which piece to pick(although I need them all). I have yet to remove some small hoops that I purchased to wear in my cartilage piercings , and the gold still looks great. I bring everyone I know back yo the store because it's the bomb. The only thing I wish is that some of their sterling silver pieces were made in gold . But honestly it's just making me want to wear silver too lol .
