Over the course of the last 3 years I can confidently tell you what an amazing man and hidden gem he is. A crisis in our country is the state of the healthcare industry and the toll it takes on providers. Providers can become so overworked or burnt out that they forget to see their patient as a person or have so little time that spending any extra time advocating can seem daunting. Dr. Gburek found me at the lowest point in my life. By simply listening to me, treating me like a human being, and advocating for me; he made all the difference in the world. He carefully made care plans based on my life goals like having children and factors such as my age to refer me to specialists. I had a unique case where I became medically handicapped in terms of medication. Steroids and NSAIDs cause me to develop stomach issues I had never even heard of. Stomach issues that caused me to be unable to eat regularly for nearly an entire year. I was wasting away to nothing while I waited for Cigna or any doctor to help me. I had lost 20 pounds unintentionally in 365 days. He tried to send me to specialists that could find an answer for my symptoms, but to my dismay, those specialists had no answer for me or even any ideas of how to help me. If you've ever been in that position you know how lonely and desolate it can be. It was traumatic To even be brought to that point I spent years of my life arguing with Cigna that my life mattered but, naturally, they only want to hear what the doctor thinks. Even if that doctor has not throughly completed an assessment, offered any treatments aside from medication, or been inappropriate with your care. Dr. Gburek is not one of those providers. He takes your health and goals seriously and will advocate to give you your life back. He is the only provider who advocated for me with Cigna over the last 3 years. My health struggles robbed me of my identity and I believed there was no hope. Dr. Gburek did not leave me with no hope and he did not leave me without solution. Instead, he fought for me and saved my life. By giving me a life with manageable pain, I am able to pick back up the pieces of who I used to be and who I want to become while continuing to help others as he helped me. I want providers like Dr. Gburek to know how important their care is so they don't lose sight of why they do this and continue to help people. I want patients to see this and know that there is hope for your case. He deserves all the praise and I am incredibly thankful for my healthcare hero. Experiencing a chronic health struggle can be dark but hopefully you can find someone like Dr. Gburek to turn on the light.

The injections were quick and smooth (not going to say painless because that would be lying) but if you can't have it a little pain, they have the option for a local and aesthetic. If you are dealing with back or hip pain or pain in general your body, I would highly recommend scheduling a visit through your doctor.

I pulled a muscle during speed training just before Christmas. I backed off and thought I was in the clear on 12/30, but I spent New Year's Eve on a cane. It was an absolutely acute pain and 2 weeks before the run. Too late to defer, so sit out or attempt the run? I had to try. I got an appointment at the end of the first week in January and a follow up just before the race. Doctor's orders were to skip any training in hopes that it would be good enough for my goal to finish. I had given up on any competitive hopes of the run and thought it would be miracle enough to start and finish. I showed up to the race corral with a sensation in the strained muscle but no pain. I decided to start and see how far I could go. I was feeling good and ran a somewhat decent pace for the first half of the race. The sun came out some at 13 miles, combined with the humidity and warm temperature that day and couple of weeks without a run, so the competitive level of the run was finished, but I made it across the finish line in a sloppy 4:22. BUT the goal was a miracle finish given hope late the injury occurred. I am very pleased with Dr. Papas's guidance and strategic approach. He kept the possibilities grounded and realistic, but we pressed on for the goal of a marathon start and finish. As Vince Young put it after a sloppy UT win in 2005, " It was ugly, but a W is a W. "

I felt comfortable with Dr. Dietrich and his team, and I appreciated all the information they provided on how to care for my injury. If you have an accident, don't wait for the pain to go away on its own or for the injury to somewhat heal. There are resources and exercises available to help with healing those injuries.

Doctors are not gods, they are limited in their knowledge based on how much they keep up with advances and aren't clouded by their narrow political views. However, based on the drought of medical professionals in Austin, I doubt one might find anything better here anytime soon.

Margaret L Hemmen, APRN,FNP-C. Worst visit ever…read more I had a very disappointing experience during my visit. From the moment the doctor came into the room, she made virtually no eye contact with me and seemed completely uninterested in listening to my concerns about my health. I left feeling dismissed, unheard, and as though my questions were an inconvenience to her. When I asked questions, her responses and demeanor made me feel as though I should already know the answers or that my concerns were common sense. No patient should be made to feel uncomfortable for asking questions about their own health. Part of being a healthcare provider is making patients feel heard, respected, and comfortable enough to advocate for themselves. What makes this even more frustrating is how long patients often have to wait for an appointment and how hard we work to afford healthcare, only to finally be seen and walk away feeling like we didn't matter. I work in healthcare myself, and I would never want a patient to feel the way I felt after this appointment. After reading other reviews describing very similar experiences with this doctor, I'm even more disappointed that these concerns appear to be an ongoing issue. If a provider has reached a point where showing basic compassion, patience, and concern for their patients feels like a burden, then perhaps it is time to reconsider whether patient care is still the right profession for them. I sincerely hope the practice takes this feedback seriously because patients deserve providers who listen, communicate, and treat their health concerns with respect.

I have had many consultations, but there was always an issue with Insurance or timing. I believe now that was truly divine intervention so that I could meet Dr. Mosier and have him perform my surgery. I went from a G to a B and they look AMAZING. Truly they almost look fake and I still can't believe these are what I get to have now. I have spent my entire life hating my large chest and am finally free. My back pain is gone, clothes fit me, I don't have to wear seven bras to workout, truly it's incredible. I wish I would've done this sooner, but then it probably wouldn't have been with Dr. Mosier. From the very first appointment where I almost cried, he was so kind and so was his entire office staff. They are truly the best. So kind, so understanding and answered ALL of my 1000 questions. Then finally came surgery day which I was so nervous for. PIECE OF CAKE. I've had two children and this was one billion times easier than giving birth and recovery. I guess I should have expected that, but I've never had surgery so didn't know. I cannot believe how easy recovery was and how quick. Dr. Mosier repeatedly assured me before I left that if I had any issues, they would be there for me and would be easy to get ahold of and so responsive, and they were. He even talked directly to my husband after hours one night when I was concerned about an off looking suture (it was fine, I'm just anxious.) Truly, Dr. Mosier was so kind, supportive, and so TALENTED. I don't know that I had the highest expectations, not because of Dr. Mosier, but just because I felt like what I was working with before was so bad. And WOW. When I tell you they look FAKE they're so good. Every post-op everyone again was so kind and Erika is the sweetest person in the world and would talk me through every little detail and every question I had. I would do this whole process again in a heartbeat. To have such an AMAZING visual outcome was life changing, but to have it with such a wonderful doctor and equally wonderful office staff was also just such a pleasant experience. THANK YOU DR. M! My pain required me to take opioid pain medication a few times per month in order to function properly. After consulting with Dr. Dumitrescu, he created a custom plan with the intention of stopping my pain at the source instead of treating with medication. We completed the plan last week and it's been over three months since I've had to take any pain meds. This is the longest I've gone without the need for meds in over ten years. What sets Dr. Dumitrescu apart from the other places is his dedication to looking at all aspects of healing the body. We started with a few minor outpatient procedures combined with physical therapy, supplements, and hormone medication. We have now moved into a strength building program in order to help prevent future back injuries or issues. I could not be more delighted with the results and being pain-free. The physical therapist, Katie, is absolutely wonderful to work with. If you're experiencing pain, I highly recommend visiting Dr D and having a consultation. He will look at the big picture and is clearly very driven to help people lead a happier, healthier life.
