This business is a game changer for busy families/individuals who are looking for a solution to…read morehealthy and fast meals. Come here to assemble all your meals without having to prep ingredients or clean up after yourself. Dream Dinners offers a monthly menu that you can order online, on phone, or in person from. Reservations must be made in advance, and they are only open select days of the week. The actual experience: if it's your first time- visiting their website and picking your meals from the monthly menu is easiest. From there you can reserve your date to assemble in store. When you arrive the days of, a friendly staffer meets you, provides you with your list of prechosen meals and instructions, and you are set free to start assembling. There is a station for each meal with its own instructions and prepped ingredients. You follow your preprinted assembly cards to each station, follow the instructions, put your meal in a cold holding fridge, and move on to your next meal. Continue till you are finished. So simple! I was able to assemble 25 premise dinners in 2 hours. That's a whole month of dinners for the family...in just 2 hours! (Mic drop) The cost comparison: nothing will ever financially beat the good ol'fashion meal prep - but all your own ingredients, prep yourself. However, I had to start looking at my work, life, chore harmony and concluded I was wasting way too much time doing chores- than enjoying my family. So- the cost per serving breaks down to anywhere from $5-7. More expensive than old fashion meal prep- but less money per serving in my experience than healthy take out food. Commitment: the Dream Dinners website usually offers a 1st time buyer experience- you can purchase 6 servings from their menu- as compared to the normal 36 serving commitment. This way you can experience their assembly process, and assess if you/the family would eat their food.

What an amazing concept. Just show up with a small cooler, wash your hands, and start assembling…read moreyour meals. Created 3 - 3 serving meals in 30 minutes. Faster than a grocery store visit. This may be my highest rated Yelp visit yet, as I could see myself coming here monthly. It could change the way I shop, prep, cook, and eat. Takes the guess work out of meal making.

HIDDEN GEM. Wait... why am I telling Yelp then...??!?!?!…read more This place is pretty awesome. It is a buffet style café where everything is weighed at the end. They have such a variety: 1. They have a great salad bar. Everything is in small portions, so I don't feel like it has been sitting all day. They have a variety of salads as well ... (potato, seafood, pasta).. They have all the regular fixings... 3 types of lettuce, peas, garbanzo beans, corn, olives, onions, broccoli, 2 types of tomatoes, 2 types of shredded cheese, cottage cheese and even sliced hard boiled eggs. 6 different kinds of dressing! 2. They have a breakfast bar. And let me tell you.. it is so good! I come in for the hash browns, sausage and gravy. I put them all together in a small to-go container, they weigh it, and I get 4$ of delicious comfort food. 3. They have two daily soups and a variety of hot meals. Today was Fried Shrimp Balls, Chicken Enchiladas, Pork Ribs, Tikka Chicken and a sort of Yakisoba. ( I have also seen Bulgogi and steamed rice) 4. They have a variety of cold beverages, in cans and bottles, all kinds of bottled waters, even an ice cream freezer. 5. They have a ton of regular snack items, bagged chips, candy bars, energy bars and drinks, cookie bars, muffins, mixed nuts, and the like. 6. They also make sandwiches. One time I had the BLT and it took me two sittings to eat the whole thing. The amount of bacon was phenomenal... Great bread... super delish. That was worth the 12$ I paid. I am often found here around 10 am grabbing a to-go container of breakfast items, and also one that has salad and such in it. I leave only paying about 9-10$ and am perfectly happy for the day. Today I left with a full salad belly and a chocolate chip muffin to snack on for later. WHAAAAAAAAAA?! IT IS BLUEBERRY! Sad face. I will save it for tomorrow, because I still need some chocolate. On the hunt....stay tuned...

My visit here pretty much started off online, where my bestie and I decided to sign up for a…read moredumpling class and found this place. We were put on the waitlist after doing so but then got a text several days later saying two spots opened for us, so I snagged our seats as fast as I could. Really appreciate the staff on the other line for reaching out to me and "reserving" my spots unless I let them know I'm not interested! Getting here, there is the Meyden Garage that offers 3-hour free parking for customers of Whisk and other surrounding businesses though most spaces inside there did not have the signage saying that so it was confusing parking around there. Getting inside the building, you'll see what can only be described as a haven for chefs and aspiring cooks of all levels; you have cooking tools, pots and pans, cookbooks, plates, neatly folded cloth napkins and a bunch of other things strewn around in such a colorful and organized manner. The kitchen for our cooking class was clean and spacious, with all the ingredients we need prepped and set out in front of us. We worked in pairs prepping and cooking all our dishes throughout. Chef Thanh Tang was very informative and engaging throughout the whole process, and the other staff working with him were efficient in cleaning used utensils and keeping everyone's prepped items in check. Instructions were very clear, and directions flowed very well since we made one dumpling after another! Since both of us don't really cook and we had many questions to ask, it took us a bit to catch up with the rest of the class, but all the folding techniques became much easier to do thanks to our teacher. For this particular class, we pan-fried the shrimp and chive dumplings, while the wontons and steamed vegetable dumplings we prepped were steamed while we all took a break. As for the spicy green beans, I actually had the chance to stir-fry a non-spicy version of them in front of the class! All the food we made here was really good, and we came close to having to box some of it home too! Everything here was worth the $150 per person from the experience to the food, and I'd take another class here in the future! For reference, the class I took is called "More Dumplings, Dumpling?" and ran on a Saturday from 5:30-8:30pm though that's just a timeframe since I did stay slightly longer just to finish my food!

It was a fun experience. You show up and get greeted by their staff. You'll find your station and go to work! Some of the ingredients are pre-prepped which is nice otherwise you'd be there all night haha. The class was roughly 2 hours long and then we enjoyed dinner all together so roughly a 2.5 hour experience when it was all said and done. The fans kick in so it can be a tad bit loud when everyone is cooking but the instructor was great and made his way around the room to make sure everyone was doing what they were supposed to do. They had 2 additional staff members helping out to make sure any ingredients you needed were available. Plus - you get a glass of wine :) Fun date night!

The panini did take some time (~20 minutes) to pick up but the mac and cheese was scooped right away. I tried both world's best Mac and cheese and the Smoked salmon one. The smoked salmon was an easy 5/5. I love the dill, green onions, and smoked salmon mixed in with their iconic flagship cheese. I'm still thinking about it as we speak! The world's best mac and cheese was also super good, but I'm always seeking more adventurous flavors. Lastly, the panini was perfectly toasted and crispy with a nice cheese pull! It was really good, but the smoked salmon mac and cheese was magical to eat! The store is average sized and they have a standing area near the factory for you to eat and see the cheese making. I wanted to try a grilled cheese but there's so many spots around Pike Market I didn't wanna fill up on one place. They use penne noodles with I find unique for a Mac but was a good choice for holding as much of that cheese sauce as possible. It was a little starchy for my preference but still very good. There's little red flakes in the sauce that give it a good flavor profile and little kick. There's a stand up bar after you order where you can eat your food but no formal seating.

Now, I'd just had some bad things happen in my life and was looking for something that might bring me some joy, so I ordered the strip even though it was a little pricey, and I didn't know much about the place. My brother in Christ, let me tell you, that was the most gloriously delicious steak I've ever eaten. Cooked perfectly. Buttery. An almost crackling crust. Seasoned well but not overwhelming. My wife's noodles were also fantastic, but that steak was out of this world. She made me trade once she tasted it. We finished with a really nice, not too sweet chocolate mousse. They nailed all of it. I'm as shocked as anyone to tell you that this was the best restaurant meal I've ever had, and I don't like anything.

This place commits to sourcing almost everything they have locally and they make a lot of their own base ingredients including every sauce they serve. The Ruby Brink is particularly well suited as a good bar that still has restaurant class food, especially if you just go out with your adult friends and not necessarily your family of five. Different restaurants are tiered to different clientele and I especially appreciate that they serve their target audience: adults looking for a damn good meal, super well! Their menu is prepared every single day depending on what's available at the time. Don't be surprised if you see different dishes on it from just going there a week previous. In my opinion this keeps it fun although they still make sure to keep their classic favorites around. Definitely five out of five stars for me
