I understand there's an "island premium," but the value just didn't match the steep cost. * Burger was okay, but the patty felt small for the price. * Onion rings were not good. They had thick, undercooked onion and chewy breading. * The chicken bites were extremely dry. They were edible, but I'd honestly take just about any other fast food nugget over these. That's especially disappointing because they looked like they started with decent quality white meat. My kid took one bite and pushed the rest away, which is a first for anything breaded and fried. To see our flag be dragged on the ground and then wadded up like a piece of trash was unbearable for our group inside to see. Such disrespectful treatment of our flag is inexcusable.

They had a sign up the first day that advertised a rose honey latte special, and I love all of that, so I ordered it large and iced. It was amazing. I like my lattes with flavor, but I also want to be able to take the coffee and get a balance. If my coffee doesn't taste like coffee, it's too sweet. I could taste all the elements here and it's clear they use good, high-quality ingredients. They even topped it with rose petals! One day I strayed and ordered one of their specialty mochas, which I am generally hesitant to order because they're often way too sweet. I saw they use Holy Kakow syrup and know that's pretty good stuff. The mocha was really good, but also over $9 for a large before tip. That's my main complaint about this is that it's expensive. That being said, it's Vashon Island and most everything is super expensive. My large, iced latte is under $8 before tip and that feels more justifiable. This is overall a really cool place to check out with some cool history. The tea selection is absolutely amazing, though I'm too much of a coffee person to try it.

They have a wall of teas, a case of baked goods, and so much more that I probably even missed some things, like checking out the bookstore. I was feeling a bit worn from my travels so I decided on a Golden Mylk instead of opting for coffee. The Golden Mylk was a perfect blend of spices and creaminess. Very cozy, warm, and the perfect drink for a cloudy day. I also tried the Vashon Fog which was delicious. Not too sweet, and you could taste the tea over the milk, it didn't taste watered down. They have a wonderful home cooked type menu, next time we are dining in. You could see into the kitchen and it definitely looks like a working kitchen, you can see the baking equipment and ingredients. Gotta upgrade my five star review with another five star review now that I have been several times…read more Dreamer Ice Cream recently got a makeover/ upgraded equipment and now has even more options than they did before. Still wonderful service, house made waffle cones, samples, great ice cream and shakes and now so much more (check out the take out freezer for a rotating set of goodies). Love that the owners give back to the community (partnering with Oscar's enemies for one) and support other businesses in the area. Will be back plenty this summer and beyond.
