Stopped by this shop with an electric /chipper shredder that was malfunctioning. Had previously had it in another shop in upper Orange County. They kept it 6 weeks, worse when I got it back than when taken in. (They were an authorized repair center for the company making the machine.) Wonderful young man @ Capo Beach rapidly tested, diagnosed and suggested ways to resolve the issue..........all while the machine was in my pickup AND did not charge for his evaluation! The epitome of good service. Would highly recommend this shop for service and competence of the highest order. I had a great experience with Capo Beach equipment Rentals. After a long day at the beach we realized my wife's rings had fallen out of her beach chair. We went back at sunrise to see if we might be able to find them. Realized a metal detector would help with that effort. Came here without an ID or anything to hold as a deposit and the gentleman at the counter trusted me with their metal detector. Great news is we found the rings and returned the metal detector within an hour. Thank you for being an old school local business that takes care of their customers! read more

Pay a little more at United Rentals- It's a much cleaner environment and you don't have to expose yourself to the haze of cigarette smoke inside their shop. (Thought it was illegal to smoke INSIDE of a business?) The rental tools here consistently break and need to be swapped out. The last straw for me was the rental of a tool that broke just as we STARTED using it and we didn't have the time to break off the project to bring it back right away and they charged me for the tool rental anyway. Went there Saturday afternoon for a 14" A-frame ladder and the tall dude was really cool. BS'd about about his Schwinn. Took it back Monday (couldn't on Sunday cause they're closed) and the other guy with a Laguna equip. rental shirt was there. Asked if I used it on Monday (I think the a-hole wanted to charge me an extra day, but the tall dude said it was cool to bring it back on Monday). Did not make eye contact and threw my check card on the counter instead of handing it to me. I give the tall dude 5 stars and the other guy a big middle finger. read more

Kept our lawn mower for 3 weeks.. Did nothing to fix it.. charged us twice! asked why they couldnt fix it, said water might be in the gas.. or the carborator needed to be replace.... OK? These guys treated me very well. I have rented equipment before with positive experiences. This was the first time I had them perform some work for me. I brought in my mower for maintenance-repair, and they said it would be about $75. There was a lot more work than anticipated, and they had to replace about $25 worth of parts, so I was expecting a final bill well over $100. I was very pleasantly surprised to wheel my mower out of the shop for under $65. And it is running great!! read more

Dropped off a chipper which I assumed was a seized motor. They could have stuck it to me. They didn't ,$25 fix. Not sure what the haters that left poor reviews about service are speaking about. Took my lawn mower, a 2-cycle Toro that is about 35+ years old as it would not start. Edward, the new owner, found the problem with the magnito. Since this mower's engine is made by Suzuki, parts are hard to come by. Between Edward and myself, we found the parts required to repair, and now my mower is up and running better than ever. Strange thing is that i did not realize that the mower was running a little worse each year; but now it is like the day I took it out of the box. Could not ask for better service and to boot, what i would call more than a fair price. read more
