We expected to be dazzled by Capolinea, considering its stellar online reviews - 4.9 on Tripadvisor and 4.8 on Google. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. This is what we ordered: 4 Star (Very Good): Gnocchi Fritto (side) 3.5 Star (Good): Calamari (appetizer), Filetto Wagyu (entrée), Cioccolato Tosco (dessert) 3 Star (OK): Burrata con Zucca (appetizer) 2.5 Star (Below average): Creste di Gallo Alla Bolognese (entrée) 1.5 Star (Bad): Ossobuco (entrée) So there were no 5- or 4.5-star dishes. The best dish turned out to be one of the sides and none of the entrées truly impressed us. The flavorless Ossobuco was one of the worst we've ever tried. Their famed Creste di Gallo Alla Bolognese was pedestrian, at best matching what one would try at the Olive Garden. Our server, Lia, was very attentive and efficient. And the views of the Mercedes-Benz stadium are impressive. The ambiance is modern, upscale, and relaxed, yet the absence of tablecloths left us underwhelmed. Before tipping, we spent $256 for a three-person meal (no alcohol, only sparkling water, 2 appetizers, 3 entrées, 1 side, 1 dessert). We will not be returning to Capolinea.

It was a great spot for our team after 17 hour days working in the Georgia world congress center! Fantastic

We had a fabulous dinner at Capolinea tonight. The calamari was exquisite and the tuna carpaccio was as delicious as it was stunning visually. But you definitely want the bread service which includes an array of options from rustic olive bread to parmesan frico styled wafers plus a lovely butter spread and more- a necessary option to sop up pasta bolognese.

Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience. In addition to the long wait, we were unhappy with the way we were treated, especially by the person working at the front desk. Someone welcoming guests should be more friendly, professional, and empathetic, especially knowing that many customers travel from far away to visit the restaurant. We waited for a long time and were told that we could not be seated because one member of our group had not arrived yet. We were informed that everyone had to be physically present before we could be given a table. To us, this policy made no sense and only added to our frustration. The wait became so excessive that one of our friends gave up and left. What made the experience even more upsetting was that, because of the way we were treated, I personally left feeling discriminated against and unwelcome. Whether intentional or not, no customer should leave a restaurant feeling that way. We expected much better customer service and a more reasonable approach to managing the waitlist. Unfortunately, this experience did not live up to our expectations, and we would not recommend it.

Capolinea was so good I went two nights in a row. The service was flawless both nights. Night one: tricolore salad and those baked potato sticks with Cacio e Pepe sauce. Like a carb-driven dream. Finished with a cannoli! A girl dinner if I ever saw one. Night two, I lost control and ordered half the menu....calamari, bread, crudo, and that squid ink seafood pasta which I definitely enjoyed. Over ordering is my specialty! Zero regrets.

The food was pretty good, although we waited a while to be seated, the service was a 10/10. The only con, was that the calamari was way too salty for the pasta.. the calamari appetizer was grilled but the calamari in the pasta was fried. The team sent us over a few of their deserts to try which were super fruity and tasty. Great dinner overall,

Amazing experience ! First time in Atlanta and and I was HUNgry! Extremely grateful that Capolinea was open because they are usually closed on Sundays. Needless to say I kept it safe and ordered one of the speciality pizzas and I was not disappointed. Paired with a crisp Pinot it was a chefs kiss . The service was primo! And without question if I say at the Signia again, I will def be back.

Lovely addition to downtown Atlanta hotel district. The hotel's various bars and restaurants were hopping and nothing major was going on this weekend. The restaurant itself was quite lovely with great decor. Reservations are a must. The food was excellent and the service was great. A tad bit loud for my taste and the table had a draft. If you like Martinis you must try the Capolinea Martini. It's their version of a Vesper and the presentation is fantastic as they make the coldest azz Martini in Atlanta. They "freeze" the glass with some kind of liquid nitrogen or something and then pour your drink. All this is done at your table. The restaurant will comp your valet if you spend more than $200 which is easy to do for 4 people, otherwise it's $40-$60.

Food remains very good. Service was great and ambiance is always very welcoming and nice experience.

    Il Bergamatto

Friendly service, great view overlooking Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Food was plentiful and good! We had a cheese and meat tray with caper berries (I've never had them, they were delicious). We shared the creste di gallo bolognese it was really good and two of us didnt finish it. All staff was very friendly and helpful. We also shared the Il Bergamatto for desert, interesting and very tasty! Will return! Prices were very reasonable as well.

This month is full of birthdays and weddings and a lot of different celebrations at the end of summer and I'm here for it all. Was really excited to come to this restaurant, italian is my favorite cuisine and Capolinea had amazing reviews, so I definitely wanted to come here at some point. Capolinea is located in the brand new Signia Hotel by Hilton, the whole building is gorgeous. It is right outside of Mercedes-Benz stadium, the ambience from when you walk into the hotel all the way until you arrive at the restaurant is mesmerizing. A lot of bright colors and lights, extremely clean aesthetic. In the restaurant, they had a bar that was separate from everything, plenty of seats that were very comfortable and intimate, they also had outdoor seating that overlooked the stadium that were really cool to look at or take pictures of. I know I said I would do a better job of remembering names but I do not remember who our waitress was, I remember she was fairly new to the job. She told the party she had been working there for a few months and was enjoying it so far. The waitress was extremely knowledgeable, she answered all of our questions and gave great suggestions based on the information we were giving her. This is the best kind of waitress that kind of guides you to make sure you maximize your experience at the restaurant so shout out to her. For the food, Capolinea had a really interesting menu full of intriguing dishes I wanted to try, my favorite thing I ate by far was the Beef Carpaccio, it was the appetizer we had. It was served with bread and you put the Carpaccio on it and the taste was splendid. I could have eaten just that all night. The other things I had included: Margherita pizza, and the Ravioli D'Anatra. One important comment that would be disingenuous if I didn't add is that the portions served at the restaurant are extremely small! The food was great but was not filling at all, that is not a knock on it at all by the way. Just be mindful to not skip lunch thinking you'll have a big dinner lol. Oh one more fun fact it is a bit pricey, ok not just a bit it is pricey! Again not a knock just giving the people the information!

    Green delicious martini

We went for a relaxing fine dining experience while we attended our conference at the Signia Hilton- we were so pleased! The fresh Pane E Burro was addictive and the martini cart experience (dry ice glasses prepared in front of you) were delightful (capolinea and Green Delicious flavors). Armani presented the drinks with a flourish! Our server Jenny was so attentive and was available for anything we needed - risotto de fave e tartufo was savory - and the funghi truffle pizza was perfect! Emmanuel the Sommelier found the perfect dessert port wine for us! Lisa Marie the Manager visited and talked with us twice during our experience - we really felt valued! Thank you everyone for the perfect dining experience - we will definitely be back!

The pull out all the stops here. This is an experience. Soon as you sit down, you receive a glass of Prosecco. Fancy! They do a whole run down of specials and also of dishes you have interest in. Great at making recommendations for food and drink pairings. The martini cart service. Whew. Perfection. If you are going to pay for a pricey meal , it should be an experience. This place gives you that. We came for my friend's 50th birthday and they made it special. Down to a hand written card. I had the Amalfi Gold as my drink. Beautiful and delicious! We shared the bread service and a flat bread with Funghi Wild Mushroom, Truffle, Fior di Latte Cheese. So good. For my meal I got the Ravioli D'Anatra at the waiter suggestion and he was right. It was so rich and the duck was crispy. Perfect combo. We ended the night taking a picture on the balcony with a beautiful backdrop. Come here for special occasions or just to have an expensive.

Margarita pizza. Absolutely amazing. Started with Caesar salad.

For the pasta, I got the the tortelli de vitello which was so good. Some of us at the table also tried the shrimp linguine which was delicious and so fresh as well as the chicken parm which was MASSIVE and came with a great side of pasta. We also tried the little pasta shells/ears with sausage and broccolini and it was delish. Truly these dishes were stunning and cannot wait to have it again! To wrap up the dinner, we got some coffees and the tiramisu... Which was delicious and as stunning as everyone says. Overall, this meal was divine. Free small parking lot in front. Free extra parking across the street. The total was about $150 for 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, 2 drinks, and a dessert. Pros The quiet, intimate, and classy atmosphere was exactly what I needed for my family. When we first arrived, our table was not ready and we had to wait outside. However we were given continuous updates on when the table would be ready, they apologized, and they were very understanding. Considering we were a large party in an intimate space, we understood and only waited about 20 minutes before the table was ready. You could tell the food was fresh, the orders came fast, and the service was amazing. The fresh in house pasta took everything to the next level. It was the perfect night out. Cons The establishment is intimate so I do not think it would ideal for extra large parties. I had a party of 8 at 8PM but I dont know if they could have accomodated us if it was any earlier during prime dinner time. I wish they had a better parking situation but its not bad and its free. Husband and I came to celebrate my birthday - he was a bit upset they didn't offer anything for my birthday even though he notated it on the reservation, but I didn't really care for it as I don't like having the attention on me. This place is hard to miss as it's right on Roswell Rd. There is complimentary valet parking available, but there's also free parking at a deck just a few steps away from the restaurant entrance. We were greeted by the hostess as soon as we walked in and the restaurant was already very busy for a Saturday 6 pm dinner. Our server was fine, and the food was decent. I opted for the blackberry fiz mocktail, which was super sweet at first, but with a good mix, it was super refreshing. For starters, we shared the eggplant balls (a must get here!) and the bread service. The eggplant balls were definitely shareable and were probably our favorite thing we ate. The bread service you could probably skip - we wish it was served with vinegar instead of just oil and an olive tapenade. For entrees, I ordered one of the dinner specials, grilled branzino served with broccolini and potatoes. My husband ordered the ravioli. I really enjoyed the branzino, it was tender and the skin was cooked crispy. I loved that the broccolini was charred enough, but wish the potatoes were cooked a bit more. The capers added the needed saltiness to the dish, though I wish this was served with lemon or something to balance out the flavors. My husband enjoyed his ravioli but found it too heavy with the cream sauce. We thought this was a decent place for dinner, but nothing really stood out besides the eggplant balls.

In my photos you can see what we ordered, but my recommendation is to simply ask your server what they like and you'll undoubtably get something stellar. After expressing that I was open to any variety of dishes, in hopes of venturing out from my "usual" of chicken parmigiana, Linda made several very thoughtful recommendations. I am personally not a huge fan of mushroom taste, but the dish was not mushroom forward at all and the Marsala sauce was perfect. I also tried the cannellini beans after both Linda and her counterparts insisted that it's the most underrated dish on the menu and there were absolutely correct! I could have eaten the beans as my main dish and been perfectly happy. I finished it all off with the tiramisu, which was the perfect balance of sweetness and a very authentic taste about it! Anyone who knows me personally knows that I don't eat leftovers, but I reheated my leftovers on the stove and it was just as great as the night before - making the dishes well worth their value!
