I loved the pizza, we were there yesterday celebrating Fathers Day, it's one of our favorite pizza places. They were nice but got our order wrong several times as I ordered it even though it seemed easy, then when the pizza came it was wrong. So they made us another one and it was fantastic. It wasn't until this morning I received a fraud alert on my debit card I used to pay for my pizza. This debit card I barely use and only online to pay my normal bills (which I've done for 5+ years) or automatic withdrawals (the same for length of time) or putting money in my children's account. So, after handing my debit card to the cashier then receiving it back I was shocked I used that account telling my husband and cashier I didn't mean to use that card. Thank God I did because I was able to see with my bank that the only time recently I personally handed my debit card off it was to Capone's Pizzas cashier, and then on the same night into the morning my account was fraudulently used. It's been a while since I've written any reviews on yelp, but I feel like my most recent trip to capones warranted me taking a few minutes to write something up. To begin with, the service first and foremost was top notch. Very friendly people that made me feel very comfortable in their establishment. The food itself was phenomenal. Impeccable pizza from the delicious cheese, perfectly spread sauce and quality toppings. You can really tell when a place breaks the bank for high quality toppings and it's clear that capones truly cares about what they're putting on their pizza. After many years of having had the best pizza in town, they sold out 3 weeks ago, getting rid of the old deck ovens and replacing them with an air impingement conveyor system. The dough seems quite different now, having lost the artisan chew, and I suspect they had to modify their recipe to accommodate the new ovens. Still good, but no longer a special pizza. Not sure where I can go now for great pizza in Riverside. They gave up their niche, but they have loyal customers, many of which will follow them to So-So Pizzaland. I used to love coming here. There food was amazing. But they unfortunately have long haired male workers that dont have proper food handler manners. Please wear hair nets. Maybe ill try it again one day when i see that the male workers with long hair and sweatbands are wearing hair nets. Last time i ordered a calzone there was the fattiest hair in it when i cut into the last half. Its really gross when you seen that hair on the exact workers head. So sad honestly. We wanted to try something new and were pleasantly surprised by Capone's. It is a bit pricey but you get the quality.

I ordered two calzones and the cashier girl forgot to give me the marinara that come on the side when you order a calzone, so I went back and the same rude girl denied me my free marinara. How does that make sense? If it says there on the menus what comes with what order. Not happy, I'll get my calzones at fiesta pizza down the street now read more

My favorite place to get pizza! They have more options than any other pizza place and their ingredients are fresh and delicious! You can customize your crust and toppings; I always tell them to put the spinach and tomatoes on after it's done cooking and I request thin crust. Their garlic comes in whole cloves and they are not stingy with their toppings like most other places! Plus it's always great to have a cheap pitcher of beer on tap and play some arcade games while waiting for your food. They have amazing fresh salads and great options for dessert too! This is among the very best pizza I have tasted anywhere, and I have traveled widely throughout the nation. It is by far the best In SoCal. The crust, sauce, cheese, and toppings are all done right at Capones. And they cook the pizza just right, too. They pile on a good amount of toppings, and so the pizza is filling. Went to capones last night for the first time. I show up place is empty.ok kool we order a 16inch pepperoni pizza, potato wedges and wings total is 30 something and change ok kool. Our order takes 40 minutes!!!! And as seeing we are the only ones there makes no sense. Bunch of kids behind the counter working laughing outloud and what not not very professional. Then the worker comes out from behind the counter in a work shirt and basketball short lol wowwwww. I get my food pizza and wedges and wings not to mention my pizza was probably sitting for 25 mintues it was cold and probably sitting on top of the oven. My wedges also somewhat cold and all soggy.Wings on the other hand ok 8/10 some were burnt to a crisp. Bottom line I wont be going there again. Service wasnt professional food took wayy to long for being empty and pizza wasnt all that great for the price. read more

Wonderful, satisfying crunchy crust. I ordered a cheese pizza well done with garlic bread and a side salad that was great. The staff was friendly and the place was clean. They also have video games and TV as well. The menu has different pizza styles like Chicago and different varieties of wings. The only negative was when we first came in it seemed empty. We could not see any staff and we had to call out to get someone to notice us. I recommend they have a buzzer or bell so customers can get their attention easier. read more

I went in to this place I believe it was on a Thursday around 3 and the curly hair is working the counter was extremely rude and rolled his eyes when I asked him a simple question. It doesn't look like much outside and I didn't really know what to expect from that. I wasn't fan of the inside either, but thats just me. I tried the deep dish pizza here, half pepperoni and half cheese and it was delicious. I had been looking for a place for a while that looks like they serve nice deep dish and this was it. It was a bit pricey though, but it was worth it. I will come back here when I crave another deep dish! read more
