There's just something about ordering their medium cheese pizza (as advertised from the 91 freeway) on a weekday night to eat all to yourself. it only takes about 20 minutes for a pizza to be cooked and their seating area is nice and roomy. Not bad! I picked up a pizza with half Toma Beefo and half Hawaiian from Antonious and wasn't too disappointed. They didn't skimp on the toppings which is a HUGE plus. My main critiques come with the dough. The crust was nice and airy, but the flavor tasted way too yeasty. I feel it needed more saltiness and perhaps just a tad bit of sweetness as well (though sugar might make the dough rise too fast and increase the yeastyness so maybe just use less yeast and increase the fermentation time instead). Also, the crust was too thick through the whole pizza. I like a thick crust if it's around the edges, but I personally don't like the center being just as thick. The customer service here is great! The person who handed me my pizza was very kind and provided service with a smile. I also love the little tamper seal on the pizza - it was a nice little touch. read more
